Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Xia Qingqian suddenly felt extremely embarrassed! She didn’t even know this little detail; when a person gets flustered, they truly know nothing.

”...” She suddenly became tongue-tied, turning her face to one side to look at the endless sea outside the window, her mood broadening instantly, perhaps due to her current situation.

Someone once said that wherever you find yourself, your heart will change with the environment.

She remembered the chest tightness and nausea she experienced after boarding the yacht, her mouth slightly curling up, her hand gently placed on her belly, softly caressing it. Is it really, as Beitang Yao said, that she’s pregnant?

Her beautiful brows knitted slightly, showing a heavy expression. Her body is her own, how could she not have realized she was pregnant?

”What if it’s just a false joy, then what?” Xia Qingqian asked out of nowhere, and Beitang Yao certainly understood her meaning.

His hand paused on the steering wheel, his brows lightly furrowed as he said, ”Why are you worried about this? If I say you are, then you are.”

Xia Qingqian pouted, never having seen such a domineering man before! Hearing that, she gazed outside, saying quietly, ”The sea is really vast, endless. Yao, is there really a ’shark punishment’ in the castle?”

Beitang Yao looked at her and said, ”The ’shark punishment’ is a rule I set.”

She stared at him, taking a deep breath. She couldn’t believe he would implement such a cruel punishment on his own kin, she truly couldn’t see him as such a brutal man. Thinking of this, a cold sweat broke out on her back.

This kind of man is exceptionally gentle to her, perhaps because what lies between them is merely a transaction, where everyone gets what they need.

She dared not ask him if he would also apply ’shark punishment’ to her.

It seems that whatever she does is met with his questions, sniffing, she shook her head and said, ”Yao, Huan suggested having lunch together, can we?”

Beitang Yao frowned, very directly refusing, ”It’s our world for two, why bring along such a big third wheel like Huan? I don’t feel like it.”

Xia Qingqian swallowed, speaking slowly, ”It’s not like that, having more people at a meal feels livelier.”

”Are you saying it’s boring to eat with me?” Beitang Yao gazed at Xia Qingqian with a dark expression, walking over to embrace her.

Xia Qingqian’s eyes widened in fear, patting his shoulder as she said, ”Yao! You are now acting as the captain, how can you leave the steering position!” She wondered, if no one was driving, would the yacht sink, or would it crash into the reef if misdirected?

”I’ve already set the program; this is an unmanned yacht.” He explained to her.

He smiled slightly, looking at her with an ambiguous expression, lifting her chin with his slender fingers, both of their eyes meeting, gazing at her with a hint of flirtation,

Her face flushed, timidly looking at him, shaking her head she said, ”To punish you for not trusting me, I solemnly declare that during my pregnancy, you absolutely cannot touch me!”

”What? You’re rebelling?” Beitang Yao looked at her incredulously; she dared to say such words.

”It was your mistake first, not my actions, yet whatever others say, you believe, completely disregarding my feelings.” Xia Qingqian sniffed sadly, saying, ”Indeed, to you, I am merely a physical indulgence, wishing for you to trust me—I’ve never dared to hope. It’s me who has overestimated myself, from now on, I won’t engage in such unrewarding matters anymore.”
