The Urban Medical Martial Immortal

Chapter 1262: Chapter 1255: Eminence

The youth informing Gee Zitao about the situation was obviously a local from Yanjing.

He had a good understanding of Gee Zitao.

From his anxious expression and darting eyes, it was clear that the boy was very afraid of Gee Zitao.

”You two should just leave, at worst quit the Martial Arts Club and choose another elective! That Gee Zitao might be targeting you specifically!”

The boy reminded Lin Tian and Xiao Feiyuan once more before hurrying into the building.

Beside them.

Some other freshmen also glanced at them, some with sympathy, others with a mocking sneer.

”Lin Tian, maybe we should just let it go? Change to another elective; Mr. Gao will definitely allow us to switch!”

Seeing the situation before him, Xiao Feiyuan knew that joining this Martial Arts Club would surely lead to all sorts of exclusion and targeting.

Especially since it was clear that Gee Zitao wouldn’t just let things slide.

”This elective course was your own choice, and you even let Hu Lai help me write mine. Why do you want to change now?”

Lin Tian glared at Xiao Feiyuan and snorted coldly, ”Besides, do you think changing electives will help? When the time comes, that Gee Zitao will still find a way to mess with us!”

”Then what do we do? Damn it. Tomorrow’s Saturday, let’s take you to see my cousin! I refuse to believe this!”

Xiao Feiyuan gritted his teeth, looking indignant, and said to Lin Tian, ”Since we’re going in, don’t act impulsively later. Fighting can’t solve everything. Last time it was Jiang Yulong, and yesterday Qin Shi... They’ll definitely settle scores later. We’ve made quite a few enemies!”

”Stop talking nonsense, let’s go in! Just think about how to pass that weight test first!”

Lin Tian shook his head helplessly and walked with Xiao Feiyuan into the club building, saying, ”I’ll handle that Gee-whatever Zitao!”

The first floor was the Martial Arts Hall area for freshmen.

As a school martial arts club, the martial arts styles offered were diverse, creating a comprehensive Martial Arts Club.

Here, they have National Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, karate, Western European Swordsmanship, and more!

Among them, National Martial Arts is the most popular, followed by Taekwondo!

Within these, National Martial Arts is the most complex, divided into various types of boxing, saber technique, swordsmanship, leg techniques, hand skills, etc.

Even so, as National Martial Arts, they are all extremely lethal combat skills.

You can choose whichever one based on your interests and personal conditions.

However, regardless of the martial art, they all require strength as the foundation, hence the strength tests are conducted.

Lin Tian and Xiao Feiyuan walked into the first-floor Martial Arts Hall, where many people were already gathered, talking excitedly in low voices.

The hall was equipped with boxing rings, sandbags, wooden stakes, and various equipment for martial arts training or physical strength exercise.

Amidst the crowd of students, two things stood out particularly.

One was a Punch Force Tester, and the other was a weight-lifting machine!

Their arrival drew a lot of attention, and people started whispering among themselves.

”Those two are from the Pharmacy College, they offended Gee Zitao, there’s going to be a show!”

”Wasn’t it because one of them beat up Qin Shi and Zuo Xingfeng?”

”Wow, are they that fierce?”

”What’s the use of being fierce? Just a strong Shabbi! And looking at him, he must have used some trick to punish Qin Shi and Zuo Xingfeng, otherwise, how could he have beaten them with that physique?”

”Right, even before entering the school, I had already heard about Qin Shi and Zuo Xingfeng back in University City!”

”It seems they bet with Gee Zitao to see who wins the punching and weight tests, loser has to crawl on the ground and bark like a dog!”

”This is wild, no way? It’ll be fun to watch!”

Among the freshmen, whispers spread like wildfire, filled with ridicule and mockery towards Lin Tian and Xiao Feiyuan.

In the crowd, Gee Zitao could be seen turning back and sneering at them.

Xiao Feiyuan blushed with anger and indignation, his face full of resentment.

On the contrary, Lin Tian remained calm, with a slight smile, ”Ignore these people. Passing the weight test is the priority. Leave the rest to me, I’ll soon shut them up.”

”Alright... alright!”

Remembering how Lin Tian had never disappointed him, having dealt with Niu Yongrui from dorm 506 to Qin Shi and others, it seemed like he really beat whoever he encountered. Xiao Feiyuan clenched his teeth and decided to trust Lin Tian.

Soon.

The door of the office area at the back of the Martial Arts Hall opened, and three people walked in.

Two middle-aged men and a young man.

”It’s Minister Zhu Da, the chief coach Hoo Feng, and that young man is the assistant coach Wu Heng!”

Some freshmen in the crowd, well-informed, exclaimed in hushed voices.

As the three approached everyone.

Zhu Da, the Minister of the campus Martial Arts Club, spoke first, and the content was nothing more than the usual welcome speech and some motivational talk.

After that, the chief coach Hoo Feng spoke simply and directly, mentioning some rules and discipline, then handed over the strength test tasks to Wu Heng.

Zhu Da and Hoo Feng left, leaving Wu Heng in charge of the test.

”I am just an assistant coach, here to supervise your strength test! Later on, the ones who will teach you martial arts will be the head of your freshman Martial Arts Hall and martial arts instructors!”

Wu Heng stood in front of everyone, speaking loudly. Though just a junior, his tall and robust stature, coupled with an extraordinary aura, made him seem lion-like while the freshmen were like sheep, ”Next is the weight test! It’s simple, stand beneath the weight-lifting machine, and lift the fixed barbell above! The barbell has been specially treated, the higher you lift it, the heavier it becomes!”

”Now, when your name is called, step up!”

”Lu Jia!”

...

The test officially began!

Names were called, and students stepped up one by one for the test.

Soon, more than a dozen people completed it. A few barely reached 20 kilograms, many of them girls with disappointed faces.

Most managed 30 kilograms, reaching the passing line.

Some with inherently formidable strength reached 40 kilograms, even close to 50 kilograms!

That was already quite astonishing!

”Wow... 60 kilograms!”

”Amazing!”

”This person is definitely a great candidate for cultivating National Martial Arts!”

”A genius! Why study Medical Skills, better to focus on martial arts!”

Ahead, many people marveled aloud.

Lin Tian looked up and saw the glaring numbers 60 kilograms displayed on the weight-lifting machine.

Soon, Wu Heng called Xiao Feiyuan’s name.

Many couldn’t help but cast mocking and sneering glances his way, not far away Gee Zitao stood with arms crossed, eyes full of derision.

Xiao Feiyuan looked anxious, his face already showing some signs of discouragement.

”Go ahead, just do your best. Even if you don’t pass, a little more training will fix it!”

Lin Tian patted his shoulder, urging him on.

Xiao Feiyuan bit his lip, adjusted his glasses, and walked to the weight-lifting machine, his face turning red as he strained to lift the barbell.

Bang~

He managed to lift it for only a few seconds before he had to let go, putting it down. The machine displayed a glaring number -19 kilograms!

”Hahaha... can’t even compete with a girl!”

A burst of laughter erupted among the freshmen.

Xiao Feiyuan felt humiliated, his face flushed, and he walked back with his head down.

Lin Tian remained silent, secretly shaking his head slightly, unable to do anything.

”Useless, truly disgracing men everywhere!”

At that moment, Gee Zitao’s name was called, and he strode up, glancing back at Lin Tian with a middle finger raised, ”Get ready to crawl and bark like a dog!”

Huh~

At the weight-lifting machine, Gee Zitao let out a shout, lifting the barbell high with both hands.

Ding~

”80 kilograms!”

Wu Heng nodded approvingly at Gee Zitao, announcing loudly.

The group of freshmen was momentarily stunned, staring at the numbers on the machine; this kind of strength, it’s comparable to a world-class weightlifting champion.

This was absolutely terrifying!
