The Urban Medical Martial Immortal

Capítulo 1261: Chapter 1254: Gee Zitao

“It is said that the test is very simple, with only one aspect, which is the strength test!”

Xiao Feiyuan explained to Lin Tian, this guy is really well-informed, he’s already found out, “There are only two items—”

“Load-bearing test!”

“Punching power test!”

Is it that simple!

Lin Tian thought the test would be something a bit more challenging or innovative.

After listening to Xiao Feiyuan, he immediately lost interest.

With both punching power and load-bearing, it really won’t be difficult for him.

“This is very simple, it’s not like we won’t pass and it will affect our future credits!”

Lin Tian nodded slightly and replied casually.

“It’s not that simple! The test is a rule of the Martial Arts Club! There’s also a qualifying line! If you don’t pass, you have to strengthen your training and then test again before you can truly start practicing Martial Arts!”

Xiao Feiyuan shook his head, seriously explaining to Lin Tian, “Load-bearing is actually weightlifting, it’s a barbell! And punching power is the impact testing machine! The qualifying line for both is 30 kilograms!”

“Heh, hey, Lin Tian, you’re so good at fighting, the power of your punch must be amazing!”

“But…”

Xiao Feiyuan glanced at Lin Tian’s build, then looked at his own, then helplessly shook his head, “But that load-bearing test might be a bit risky for both of us!”

Lin Tian also took a look at Xiao Feiyuan’s physique, nodded, and agreed, “It is risky, do your best!”

The two chatted for a while and had their lunch break.

Lin Tian also rarely stayed in the school’s dormitory for a midday break.

In the afternoon.

Lin Tian and Xiao Feiyuan left the dormitory together, heading to the Martial Arts Club in the Traditional Chinese Medicine School District.

The club is located at the southeastern direction of the campus, under a hill enclosed within the college walls, a magnificent five-story building.

When they arrived, many newcomers had already gathered at the club’s entrance.

Each of them had faces full of excitement and anticipation.

Most of them were boys, but there were quite a few girls, some even wore Martial Arts Uniforms, which they probably specifically bought for today.

These people seem quite obsessed with Martial Arts, or they are doing it purely out of interest, considering it a hobby.

“There are quite a lot of people!”

Lin Tian glanced up, estimating the number of people to be at least two to three hundred.

“Heh, how can this be a lot? Just by looking, they are all freshmen. If they were upperclassmen, they wouldn’t show such enthusiasm! Only freshmen get so excited!”

Xiao Feiyuan looked around for a while, then explained to Lin Tian, “Freshman, sophomore, junior, they are separated! As for seniors, they are no longer in the club, they’ve already secured their credits!”

“It seems you’ve dug up quite a bit about the Martial Arts Club beforehand!”

Lin Tian nodded, and replied with a smile.

As they walked to the club’s entrance, the two were about to enter.

But, they were stopped by three people.

“Are you Lin Tian?”

The leader was a buzz-cut boy, robust in build, but his smile appeared extremely gentle, seeming to greet in a very friendly manner.

However, the two behind this boy wore sneers on their faces.

“I am!”

Being suddenly stopped, both Lin Tian and Xiao Feiyuan were a bit confused. Lin Tian looked at them and asked, “What’s the matter?”

Upon hearing this, the buzz-cut boy appeared surprised, took a look at Lin Tian, slightly curled the corner of his mouth, and sneered, “Zuo Xingfeng, that loser, can’t even beat a skinny country bumpkin like you? Truly shameful!”

Zuo Xingfeng?

Isn’t he the one who was in the class yesterday with Qin Shi and left walking with a limp!

Lin Tian narrowed his eyes and smiled calmly, “That Zuo Xingfeng is too weak! So, you want to stand up for him and take revenge?”

“Revenge? No, no!”

The buzz-cut boy shook his head with a smile and said to Lin Tian with a playful look on his face, “Revenge sounds too harsh and unfriendly! It’s a game! Let’s play! At least, let me play with you first! Let’s start with the martial arts test later! Do you dare to make a bet with me?”

These three people clearly came with ill intentions.

Xiao Feiyuan pulled Lin Tian’s hand and whispered, “Don’t bet with them! You can fight, but there are many who can fight, Lin Tian, don’t fall for it and suffer losses!”

But Lin Tian shook his head, his face full of smiles.

“You like to play?”

Lin Tian smiled and nodded, “That’s perfect then, I came to this Martial Arts Club just to play around. So let’s start with you! How do we play, how do we bet?”

“It’s simple, let’s just compare in the martial arts test later… Hmm, I’m also a freshman, I need to take the test! Later, whoever has higher punching power and load-bearing will be the winner.”

The buzz-cut boy’s eyes brightened upon seeing Lin Tian agree, and said with a smile full of mischief, licking his lips, “I won’t help Zuo Xingfeng break your legs. Just in front of everyone, kneel before me and bark like a dog!”

“Lin Tian, don’t be impulsive! We might not pass the load-bearing test!”

Xiao Feiyuan was anxious as he saw Lin Tian accept, and reminded him again.

But facing this guy’s provocation, Lin Tian could have ignored it, but since they were going to be tested together, there would likely be conflict anyway.

Might as well, let’s play!

“If you lose, then just as you said, kneel and bark like a dog!”

Lin Tian looked playfully at the buzz-cut youth.

“Hahaha… Me lose? Country bumpkin, just wait to bark like a dog!”

The buzz-cut boy laughed heartily and shook his head in reply.

Lin Tian slightly lifted the corner of his mouth, nodded without speaking.

“The game’s starting soon!”

The buzz-cut boy sneered coldly, turned, and left with the other two boys, but after walking not far, turned back and said, “My name is Gee Zitao!”

After the three left and entered the club building, Xiao Feiyuan helplessly said, “Lin Tian, how could you agree to that guy! If you don’t pass the load-bearing test, then… it’ll be so humiliating!”

Lin Tian smiled without saying a word, walking inside with a steady pace.

But upon reaching the entrance, a boy approached, shook his head at Lin Tian, and said, “I have to say, how could you agree to him! That guy is Gee Zitao! He’s a member of the Gee Family from Yanjing, known for being arrogant! In high school, he was already hanging around the University City, he’s a junior to Wu Heng from our Traditional Chinese Medicine School District! He’s great at fighting, extremely formidable! Besides his Gee Family background, there’s also Wu Heng behind him, how can you compete with him!”

“Oh crap…”

Xiao Feiyuan realized they had stirred up trouble, and quickly asked, “Is Wu Heng more powerful, with a better background than Qin Shi?”

“Of course, much more powerful! Background…”

The boy glanced around and whispered, “The Wu Family around here is quite ordinary. But Wu Heng’s kung fu was learned at the Yibao Martial Arts Hall, and his teacher is said to be Long Bao, a Martial Arts Master! Comparing Qin Shi to Wu Heng, it’s no match at all! I advise you, run away quickly, don’t get caught up in this mess!”
