The Urban Medical Martial Immortal

Capítulo 1260: Chapter 1253: Martial Arts Assessment (Third Update)

At Yanjing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor Du Yushan is an elder professor.

Like Zhu Chenshan from the School of Clinical Pharmacy, both are highly respected figures.

Even Gao Xinhuan, upon seeing them, would address them as teacher or professor with respect!

“Professor Du, please have a seat first!”

Gao Xinhuan invited Du Yushan to the sofa, poured a cup of tea, and smiled: “Professor Du, if you have anything, you can call or ask someone to inform me. I could come directly to discuss with you! The weather is quite hot, and you came personally!”

“No need, no need…”

Du Yushan waved his hand quickly, gave a hearty laugh, then solemnly said: “This matter is very important, I wouldn’t be at ease if I didn’t come myself!”

Important matter?

Gao Xinhuan showed surprise, sat down on the sofa opposite, nodded seriously: “Professor Du, please tell me what’s the matter!”

“Well, yesterday, we encountered a young genius at the botanical garden!”

Professor Du took a deep breath, recalling Lin Tian’s incredible skills yesterday, his face full of admiration, then narrated the events from yesterday to Gao Xinhuan, “Originally, the Late Night Fragrant Herb brought back from the Huake Institute was something us old folks only hoped to keep alive, unsure if it would survive, but unexpectedly, this young man had such amazing skills…”

Opposite.

Gao Xinhuan listened to Du Yushan’s recollection, from initial surprise to final astonishment, then abruptly stood up.

“Does our school have such a talented student?”

Gao Xinhuan exclaimed, then hurriedly asked Du Yushan: “Professor Du, where is the student you mentioned, which department is he from?”

“Hahaha… Principal Gao was indeed shocked! As for the student… does he still count as a student? Even old folks like me couldn’t possibly teach him!”

Du Yushan saw Gao Xinhuan’s shocked reaction and couldn’t help laughing loudly, nodding: “This young man, I’ve already confirmed with teacher Lee Xuan, is a freshman at the Pharmacy College named Lin Tian!”

“Lin Tian, it’s him?”

Gao Xinhuan’s face instantly turned blank with amazement.

“Ah, Principal Gao knows him?”

Du Yushan was also a bit surprised, then quickly remembered something, smiled: “Oh, I forgot, Principal Gao seems to be in charge of the Pharmacy College’s freshman class, Lin Tian must be your student!”

“Yes, we do have someone named Lin Tian in our class, it must be this guy!”

Gao Xinhuan gritted her silver teeth, speaking harshly.

However, she suddenly felt a bad premonition!

“Then that’s just perfect!”

Du Yushan clapped his hands and laughed excitedly: “I think, given Lin Tian’s skills, not only is it difficult for us to teach him, but even if we could, we wouldn’t be qualified! At least in the plant and herbal medicine breeding aspect, he far surpassed us old folks! So I think… why not make Lin Tian a guest professor at our college, how about it? This wouldn’t affect his status as a student either!”

Again… guest professor!

Gao Xinhuan indeed anticipated correctly, previously that Jiang Qianyu strongly recommended Lin Tian and even communicated privately with the upper management, confirming that he was to lecture for senior students.

Now, Du Yushan also arrived, requesting to make Lin Tian a guest professor at the school!

This guy, is he really that incredible?

Last night, Lin Tian recited an entire herbal medicine encyclopedia backward, and Gao Xinhuan admired him indeed!

But, she felt it wasn’t enough for him to lecture for the college’s students.

The most important thing is, from when Lin Tian mistakenly barged into her room, then to last night, and finally today in class, this guy seemed to have taken advantage of her.

Within just a few days, embarrassing situations happened to her that never occurred since she was a child.

Gao Xinhuan felt that her entire being, every part of her, probably had no secrets left for Lin Tian.

The more she thought about it, the more her anger surged, instantly rejecting solemnly: “Professor Du, that’s impossible!”

Lin Tian already has the guest professor title, thus cannot give him a second one, and if Du Yushan knew, he might give him some other identity on this pretext!

“Principal Gao, why? We pursue academics, never dividing by age for seniority, but always prioritize the most accomplished!”

Du Yushan was astonished, thinking that Gao Xinhuan would immediately approve upon hearing him, unexpectedly she didn’t, leaving him puzzled: “With Lin Tian’s abilities, at least in the botany aspect, he’s more than qualified as a guest professor!”

“Humph, because he’s a complete rogue!”

Gao Xinhuan huffed angrily: “Making him a guest professor, who knows what kind of trouble he might cause?”

…

Lin Tian was unaware that Gao Xinhuan had already labeled him permanently as a rogue.

Even if he knew, he wouldn’t care.

Just.

Not only Gao Xinhuan’s side.

Currently, on the student council’s Medical Department side, this morning, Xian Fuling, Chu Meengsha, Weng Xiaoran, and Gao Yanan among others had gone to the Medical Department, were already baffled and clamoring.

“Heavens… it’s really concocted successfully! And with a purity of nine percent!”

Xian Fuling and others, following the steps on paper, concocted the Stone Beauty Ointment throughout an entire class.

The few looked at the thick medicine liquid with a trace of white vapor in front of them, faces filled with shock, exclaiming repeatedly.

Originally, they came to the Medical Department worried about the Stone Beauty Ointment’s purity of eighty percent, but then Xian Fuling noticed the text left by Lin Tian, initially thinking it was casually written by someone, but upon further inspection, it was indeed the formula steps for concocting the Stone Beauty Ointment.

Upon trying it, it actually succeeded!

But not with eighty percent purity, rather—ninety percent!

“Who actually wrote it? Could it be Divine Doctor Jiang himself?”

“That’s impossible! Since he set the task for us, how could he easily give the answer!”

“Go ask senior Xiao Yi in the downstairs hall!”

After a series of astonishments, they ran down to find Xiao Yi at the Medical Department’s front desk, but were destined to return empty-handed, as Xiao Yi was originally covering for Lin Tian, thus firmly said no one came up, as for checking surveillance, that was refused, claiming it was Jiang Qianyu’s order!

“Wait a couple of days, think of a way to find that person!”

With no clues, watching Xiao Yi insist on refusal, Xian Fuling could only sigh to Gao Yanan and others.

Lin Tian was unaware of all this.

Leaving the office.

But saw Xiao Feiyuan from afar, who seemed to be waiting for him.

The two went to Deke to eat lunch, then returned together to the dormitory.

With the Golden Spirit Grass, Lin Tian didn’t need to improve the soil in the Siheyuan that frequently.

In the 506 dormitory, Niu Yongrui and others were much more honest.

They had already heard about Qin Shi being beaten up, now seeing Lin Tian, each shrank their heads, showing fear.

“Lin Tian, are you prepared? This afternoon is the Martial Arts Club’s class, and before that, you need to undergo strict martial arts tests! Though it’s a club class, it counts towards credits assessment, if not passed, you can’t graduate!”

In the room, Xiao Feiyuan stretched lazily, leaned on the bed, and smiled at Lin Tian: “But since it’s a club, it probably won’t be that strict!”

“Martial arts tests? What do they test?”

Lin Tian was completely ignorant of the Martial Arts Club’s side, looked surprised, and asked.
