The Urban Medical Martial Immortal

Chapter 769: Chapter 765: The Shocked Xiao Heng (Second Update!)

“Chief… Chief, why have you opened a medical clinic?”

Hu Yong bent down close to Lin Tian, wiping the cold sweat from his forehead, and said in a low voice with a sheepish smile.

His voice was very soft, almost only audible to Lin Tian and himself.

As the Deputy Leader of the National Security Bureau Superpower Group, opening a clinic in the small Liiu Yuan City was unusual, it must involve a top-secret mission.

Yet Hu Yong still couldn’t help but ask subconsciously.

He didn’t know how Lin Tian felt or his attitude at the moment, he wanted to gauge the situation and see if he had messed up Lin Tian’s plans.

If he had screwed up, his career hat might not stay on his head!

“Can’t I open a clinic? Are you sick? I can check it out for you!”

Lin Tian lifted his eyelids, glanced at Hu Yong, and said with a curl of his lip.

“It’s not…”

Hu Yong’s face froze for a moment, becoming somewhat speechless, but he didn’t dare retort, instead forcing a smile and saying, “No sickness, no sickness! It’s just that you, as the Chief, opening a clinic seems a little beneath you… is there a mission involved? I didn’t mess it up, did I?”

Saying this, his face filled with anxiety.

If he had ruined things, he might be in too deep to escape!

“No mission! Take your people and get lost! And that Huai Ren Medical Hall, that’s the one that’s really committing illegal acts, indiscriminately using medicines, harming patients, the real unscrupulous doctors, shut it down if you can, close it, fine them, or whatever, just don’t wait for me to take action!”

Lin Tian frowned slightly, speaking coldly: “By the way… you stay behind…”

“Ah… I… I’ll have it dealt with right away!”

Seeing that Lin Tian didn’t blow up but instead asked him to stay, Hu Yong’s complexion changed slightly and cold sweat poured down his forehead.

But he didn’t dare to ask again, feeling extremely uneasy in his heart.

Under such circumstances, he was naturally extremely displeased.

Just.

Director Xiao and Xian Jingzheng, and the others, had no idea that Hu Yong was seething with rage at this point.

Seeing Hu Yong turn his glum face back to them, Xian Jingzheng thought Hu Yong had just been interrogating and immediately pointed at Lin Tian, loudly saying, “Vice Director Hu, don’t be fooled by his smooth talk, he doesn’t have a medical license, he’s practicing medicine illegally, you must arrest him!”

Xian Jingzheng had been beaten up by Lin Tian several times and had his Huai Ren Medical Hall’s business snatched away, so he harbored extreme resentment towards Lin Tian.

Now, it was the best opportunity to take down the Changsheng Medical Hall.

Director Xiao, hearing this, also nodded and said, “Vice Director Hu, give the order, and I’ll arrest him immediately! This person is lawless, we don’t even need to investigate! Just now when we came over, he told us to get lost…”

Originally, Director Xiao had been quite courteous to Lin Tian, although he knew Xian Jingzheng and gave him some face.

But that did not mean that Lin Tian could act recklessly, if Lin Tian had not committed any illegal act, he would not dare to arrest someone arbitrarily.

Even if someone was beaten up, he would at most try to mediate.

However, this person in front of him had actually told them to get lost, too lawless!

If he took him back, if he wanted to, he could charge Lin Tian with intentional injury and imprison him for ten days to half a month, or even impose a heavy sentence.

Having lost face in front of so many people because of Lin Tian, Director Xiao was filled with anger and could not calm down.

“Shut up!”

Hu Yong, listening to the two men, his face turned even blacker, his expression so dark as if it was about to drip water, he shouted angrily: “Xiao Heng, how do you handle things? This is a legitimate Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic, what are you catching for? Hurry up and take people over to the next door, seal that Huai Ren Medical Hall! That’s the one practicing medicine illegally!”

“And him…”

Hu Yong’s voice thundered with anger, he pointed at Xian Jingzheng, and commanded, “Harming patients, indiscriminately using medicines, take him back for investigation, handle it by the law, and deal with it as it should be!”

Ah…

Both Xiao Heng and Xian Jingzheng, as well as the people from the Life Bureau and Cooperative Bureau, were all stunned.

The surrounding crowd was also dumbfounded.

Inside the clinic, Zhou Yadong and Leng Caiwei were also completely baffled.

Before, Hu Yong had come over with a gloomy face, ready to make arrests, but now he had done a complete 360-degree turn, with Huai Ren Medical Hall being the one to be shut down and Xian Jingzheng being the one to be arrested.

Everyone was suddenly puzzled.

“Vice Director Hu, have you made a mistake?”

Xian Jingzheng, seeing the murderous look on Hu Yong’s face, couldn’t help but swallow hard, cautiously saying.

Xiao Heng also looked confused, Hu Yong’s sudden change of attitude left him very puzzled.

“Messed up my ass!”

Hu Yong’s heart surged with Fire Qi, almost wishing he could finish off Xian Jingzheng on the spot. He immediately shouted at Xiao Heng, “Xiao Heng, what are you dawdling for? Don’t want your job anymore? Get moving!”

“Yes!”

Xiao Heng finally snapped out of it, realizing that Hu Yong wasn’t joking around. With a snap to attention, he led his team to rush toward Huai Ren Medical Hall and shut it down.

As for Xian Jingzheng, two police officers took him directly to the car.

“Vice Director Hu…why are you arresting me?”

By this point, Xian Jingzheng was still somewhat bewildered, turning back and shouting to Hu Yong.

But, Hu Yong didn’t respond, instead turning to the onlookers and yelling, “Everyone disperse now!”

“Thank you, Vice Director Hu, for upholding justice!”

Seeing that Lin Tian hadn’t been taken away, a crowd who had benefitted from his help all showed signs of gratitude, saying thanks a few times before they all turned and left.

“Justice my ass. If I hadn’t come here, Xiao Heng would have stirred up major trouble on my turf!”

Hu Yong secretly shuddered with relief, then turned around and walked up to Lin Tian.

“Take a seat!”

Lin Tian pointed to the sofa next to him and ordered Hu Yong.

“Alright, alright…”

Swallowing hard, Hu Yong sat down with an uneasy face and nervously asked, “Commander… I haven’t done anything wrong, have I? Do you have any orders?”

“Give me your hand!”

Lin Tian frowned slightly and, as Hu Yong stretched out his hand in confusion, Lin Tian lightly took his pulse and said, “You’ve had rheumatism for at least five or six years now, right?”

“Ah, Commander, are you really a doctor? I caught a desperate fugitive by jumping into the Liiu River in the winter and catching cold. That’s when this rheumatism started.”

Hearing Lin Tian correctly identify his rheumatism symptoms and their duration, Hu Yong was stunned.

Standing beside Lin Tian, Zhou Yadong and Leng Caiwei were also perplexed.

Commander?

Why was the deputy director of the Liiu Nan District Public Security Bureau addressing Master as Commander?

Both were filled with confusion.

“Nonsense, if I’m not a doctor, why would I run a medical clinic?”

Lin Tian sneered at Hu Yong, then took out a Silver Needle, saying, “Considering how hard you’ve worked, I’ll treat you with a few needles and you’ll be fine.”

Before Hu Yong could react, Lin Tian’s Silver Needle fell like lightning.

By the time he realized what was happening, Lin Tian had already finished and put away the needles.

“All set! Now get out!”

Lin Tian stood up, directly dismissing Hu Yong.

“Ah…It’s cured just like that?”

Hu Yong was bewildered again. He instinctively stood up and tested his thigh, finding the persistent pain that used to plague him every day was completely gone. He immediately looked up in astonishment, “Commander, you really are a Divine Doctor!”

“Get out, I don’t have time to dilly-dally with you!”

Lin Tian frowned and shouted.

“Alright, alright… Thank you, Commander! If you need anything, just call me later…”

Hu Yong’s face lit up with joy as he thanked Lin Tian before leaving the clinic to meet up with Xiao Heng and the others.

Not far away.

Xiao Heng had already sealed off Huai Ren Medical Hall. When Hu Yong approached, he walked up in puzzlement and asked, “Vice Director Hu, what’s going on here? Did you take a bribe, or does this guy have some background?”

“Take a bribe, my ass! He doesn’t have any background, but you almost caused a huge disaster!”

Hu Yong glared with wide eyes, coldly saying, “Do you know who he is?”

“Ah, does he have a special identity? Could it be a Young Master from Yanjing?”

Xiao Heng looked startled, then quickly inquired.

“The identities of those Young Masters from Yanjing are extraordinary, and we naturally dread them! But this guy, for us, is even more lethal!”

Hu Yong took a deep breath, still feeling scared as he said, “He is the Deputy Leader of our National Security Bureau Superpower Group, which means he is the boss of all of our bosses. In plain terms, a Commander! This Commander comes here to run a clinic, what do you think he’s here for? You almost ruined everything!”

“Ah… National Security Bureau… leader of the Superpower Group!”

Xiao Heng’s face underwent a drastic change, showing a look of shock, as his eyes filled with profound fear.
