The Urban Medical Martial Immortal

Chapter 768: Chapter 764: The Frustrated Hu Yong (First Update!)

“Master, by hitting these people, won’t there be trouble? Our medical clinic might not be able to continue operation!”

Leng Caiwei looked at the wretched state of the crowd outside, especially Xian Jingzheng, who appeared particularly pitiable. She couldn’t help stepping forward and spoke to Lin Tian with a look of deep concern.

Zhou Yadong was also visibly anxious, soon thereafter shaking his head with a sigh.

The people before them were all from the Life Bureau and the Cooperative Bureau, and nearly every shop they operated had to go through checkpoints and procedures controlled by them.

Now that Lin Tian had hit someone, the nature of the issue had completely changed!

If those above really took action, in the eyes of Zhou Yadong and Leng Caiwei, there was an eighty percent chance that the clinic wouldn’t be able to open.

“How can you say we won’t be able to continue? Rest assured!”

Lin Tian revealed a comforting smile to the two of them but immediately his expression turned grim, and he indifferently said, “I’m just running a small medical clinic. Can’t even this be tolerated? Hmph, I want to see who would dare to stop me if I decide to keep it open!”

Listening to Lin Tian’s overbearing words and thinking about his skills, Zhou Yadong and Leng Caiwei exchanged looks, their faces showing only a bitter smile.

Only Lin Tian would dare to be so bold. If it were them, their doors might already be closed for good.

Possibly, they would even end up in legal trouble and be ruined.

“Ahh, you’re dead meat! I am going to sue you for practicing medicine illegally, sue you for intentional assault…”

Outside the clinic, Xian Jingzheng, clutching his mouth that was missing more than a few teeth, cried out in pain and kept roaring angrily at Lin Tian. In the end, he turned to the group that had been thrown out with him, saying, “Leaders, what should we do now? It’s bad enough this guy is practicing without a license, but he’s also a criminal thug!”

“This is outrageous…”

A man in a Life Bureau leader’s uniform with a corpulent belly got up from the ground and furiously denounced with a darkened face, then said to Xian Jingzheng, “Wait for Director Xiao to bring people over. We must take this thug away and shut down this clinic!”

The others had grim expressions, angrily staring at Lin Tian, but they were all somewhat afraid and didn’t dare to barge in again.

The skills of the young man before them were too formidable.

They were a group without any ability to fight back.

They had come to enforce the law, not to lay down their lives, and certainly did not wish to die for this.

In their eyes, Lin Tian was like a desperate criminal!

Woo-woo~

The sound of sirens came, and several police cars stopped outside the clinic.

Several policemen walked over with a middle-aged man.

Seeing this sight, Xian Jingzheng looked overjoyed.

“Director Xiao, you’ve finally arrived. It’s bad enough this kid practiced medicine illegally, but he also hit us. You absolutely can’t let him off easy!”

Before the people from the Life Bureau and the Cooperative Bureau could speak, Xian Jingzheng had already approached, crying out to the arriving police officers.

Director Xiao frowned, his gaze swept over the scene before him.

“What exactly happened here, you all come to the station!”

Director Xiao glanced at Lin Tian and sternly ordered.

He didn’t make any immediate conclusions, but by taking them away like this, the clinic was likely not going to make it.

Zhou Yadong and Leng Caiwei both became extremely anxious.

“Director Xiao, you can’t wrong a good person! Doctor Lin’s medical skills are superb, even if he may not have a medical license, his medical skill, to say nothing of this unscrupulous doctor Xian Jingzheng, not even the professors and experts of big hospitals can compare!”

Just as Director Xiao was about to make an arrest, suddenly a crowd surged into the outside of the clinic, all of them pleading for Lin Tian.

These people had all been treated by Lin Tian.

They had previously suffered from intractable diseases, with no improvement after extensive treatment, failing to find a cure, and exhausting all kinds of medicines without success.

But at Lin Tian’s clinic, they had been completely cured after spending merely thousands of dollars, and they were immensely grateful.

Now seeing the clinic being framed and forced to close, they were naturally unhappy.

And out of gratitude to Lin Tian, upon learning about the situation here, they took the initiative to come and plead on his behalf.

Watching the ordinary citizens before him, Director Xiao frowned, feeling troubled.

Then his phone rang, and after answering, his posture straightened and he spoke loudly, “Vice Director Hu, I am carrying out a task on Dragon Nest Road! Ah… but I can’t leave here right now, there’s a public blockade… Ah, you’re coming over… Okay, okay…”

After hanging up, Director Xiao looked helplessly at the crowd in front of him and furrowed his brow, saying, “We are enforcing the law fairly, and we will clarify what happened. Could everyone please step back for now?”

“You people are too ignorant of what’s good for you! Director Xiao personally arrives, and you still dare obstruct? Be careful or each and every one of you could be arrested and locked up for seven or eight days!”

Xian Jingzheng was anxious and angry, seeing his scheme within reach yet frustrated by a sudden hitch, he berated the people who had come to obstruct.

At this moment, Director Xiao also had a grave expression, took a deep breath, and spoke sternly, “Can everyone please step aside? As long as there is no illegal disorderly conduct here, we will definitely not wrong a good person!”

“Director Xiao, he’s a heartless doctor, how can you believe him?”

The crowd was anxious and began speaking again.

But at that moment, Lin Tian suddenly spoke loudly, “Everyone out! Don’t make a ruckus here! I will handle the situation here! Otherwise, you’re just causing me trouble and wasting time!”

Hearing Lin Tian say this, the crowd quieted down, looking at each other in confusion. Seeing Lin Tian’s stern face, they immediately left the clinic and stood outside the door.

“Indeed, if you cooperate with us, we will enforce the law fairly!”

Director Xiao nodded in satisfaction when he saw Lin Tian persuade the crowd to back off, then he turned to the people behind him and ordered, “Take him away! Whether it’s illegal medical practice or intentional injury, neither will be overlooked…”

However,

before the police officers could even make a move, Lin Tian’s gaze suddenly turned icy as he sharply told Director Xiao and the others, “You all get out too, don’t interfere with my clinic’s business! I hope you disappear from here before I lose my temper!”

What did it matter if they were police? He was the Deputy Leader of the Huaxia National Security Bureau Superpower Group, ranking him well above these people’s boss’s boss… their boss!

Arrest him?

What a joke!

Yet, his words left everyone around them stunned.

Zhou Yadong and Leng Caiwei both opened their mouths in astonishment.

Across the way,

Xian Jingzheng’s face lit up with gleeful triumph. With Lin Tian acting like this, he had completely enraged Director Xiao. Continue running the clinic? Impossible!

Seizing the moment, he fanned the flames, angrily saying, “Director Xiao, this man is completely lawless! He must be arrested, and this clinic must be shut down!”

Director Xiao himself didn’t need Xian Jingzheng to tell him; when he heard Lin Tian’s words, his face had already darkened.

“Arrest him!”

Director Xiao, eyes cold, immediately issued the order.

Whoosh~

Several police officers sprang into action, ready to apprehend.

“What are you all doing here?”

A stern shout came from outside, causing everyone’s body to jolt.

The officers that were about to make the arrest instantly stopped in their tracks.

Very quickly,

The crowd parted, and a man in uniform stepped forward.

“Ah, Vice Director Hu, what brings you here?”

Upon seeing the man who had arrived, Xian Jingzheng, the Life Bureau, Cooperative Bureau, and others showed joy on their faces and respectfully moved forward to greet him.

Director Xiao and his party also turned around, standing up straight to salute the man.

“Vice Director Hu!”

The group saluted and loudly greeted him.

Hu Yong? What was he doing here? Vice Director Hu? He received a promotion! Excellent!

Inside the clinic, Lin Tian was startled upon seeing the man, Vice Director Hu.

This Vice Director Hu was none other than Hu Yong, who had almost arrested him back in Liiu Rong District at the Liiu Rong Ecological Garden. Back then, the man was merely the head of a police station in Liiu Rong District.

Now, after just a short time, he had been directly promoted to Vice Director in Liiu Yuan City!

“What’s going on here?”

Hu Yong came over, frowning, and asked Director Xiao and the others.

“Vice Director Hu, it’s like this…”

Director Xiao immediately recapped the situation, with Xian Jingzheng on the side adding fuel to the fire.

After listening, Hu Yong nodded, walking towards the clinic as he demanded in a grave voice, “Who is the owner of this place?”

“It’s me!”

Lin Tian looked at Hu Yong, his face bearing a smile that was not quite a smile as he replied.

“So young, and yet you’re the proprietor of this unscrupulous clinic…”

Hu Yong glanced at Lin Tian, about to scold him, but his words abruptly ceased mid-sentence, and he stared at Lin Tian, dumbfounded.

Still somewhat in disbelief, he rubbed his eyes, his face immediately fell.

“Chief… Chief… What are you doing here?”

Hu Yong was filled with trepidation, cautiously asking.

“This is my clinic. Why shouldn’t I be here?”

Lin Tian shrugged and sat down on the sofa, casually responding.

“Ah…”

Hu Yong gasped in alarm, his complexion turning utterly somber, with countless alpacas stampeding through his mind.

Dammit, how had he managed to blunder into this mess again?

In this moment, Hu Yong was utterly dejected. He secretly ground his teeth at Director Xiao and the others behind him while he felt waves of fear towards Lin Tian.
