Lin Tian sat quietly on the side, slowly sipping the drink in his hand, watching the group in front of him clinking glasses and toasting.

He remained as calm as still water.

These people couldn’t care less about him, and Lin Tian was more than happy to be left to his own devices.

Other people’s revelry is always just that—other people’s—like fireworks in the sky that you can never hold onto, leaving no trace behind.

Besides, Lin Tian wasn’t interested!

After a while, the group had a few drinks, then some started singing, others played cards, and some bragged boastfully.

Xiang Daisan and Lan Yueke had also come just to join in the fun and got so carried away that they completely forgot about Lin Tian’s existence.

Once everyone started having fun, the displeasure that Lin Tian had brought earlier was thrown to the back of their minds.

Then, after taking a sip of her drink, Lan Yueke’s eyes twinkled, and she suddenly suggested to Jia Yanjun, “Mr.

Jia, I’ve heard you’re quite the master at mixing cocktails.

How about you show us a trick or two?

At the very least, you need to impress Shanshan.

Otherwise, if you keep saying you’re pursuing Shanshan but don’t demonstrate skills that outshine the other young masters, how could she be moved?”

With that, Lan Yueke couldn’t help but glance at Jiang Huijun.

She was annoyed with Jiang Huijun!

Ever since high school, when she and Xiang Daisan became best friends and were both considered among the Top Ten School Flowers by numerous admirers, Jia Yanjun started his relentless pursuit of Xiang Daisan.

And Jiang Huijun, also one of the Top Ten School Flowers, was sending amorous glances Jia Yanjun’s way, often attempting to chase him.

Unfortunately for her, Jia Yanjun had no interest whatsoever, and after her constant attempts yielded no results, Jiang Huijun naturally transferred her feelings of disappointment and resentment toward Xiang Daisan.

From freshman year to senior year, Jiang Huijun often picked fights with Xiang Daisan, secretly setting her up numerous times.

Sadly, her actions were too covert, and without proof, Xiang Daisan could only tolerate it in silence.

As her best friend, Lan Yueke became extremely indignant towards Jiang Huijun.

Now, with a chance to take Jiang Huijun down a notch, Lan Yueke would not let it pass!

Her suggestion to Jia Yanjun was indeed a deliberate attempt to provoke Jiang Huijun.

Sure enough.

Jiang Huijun’s face had already turned bleak, but she couldn’t do anything to Jia Yanjun, who, at that moment, had a bright sparkle in his eyes and quickly called the waiter to bring over brandy, whisky, gin, rum, vodka, tequila, and other necessary ingredients.

These were all the base spirits and basic materials needed for cocktail mixing.

Once the drinks were served, Jia Yanjun gracefully arranged several liqueur glasses, took the brandy, and also gathered ingredients such as Sandoz pomegranate syrup, French green mint, and Bailey’s Irish Cream.

“Mr.

Jia, what cocktail are you preparing to mix for Miss Xiang?” someone asked in surprise at Jia Yanjun’s preparations.

Xiang Daisan, with a face full of curiosity, also looked over with sparkling eyes.

Seeing that everyone’s attention was on him, even Xiang Daisan was staring, Jia Yanjun’s face couldn’t help but reveal a proud expression.

He looked around the room and slightly smiled, “Rainbow Colors!”

“Hisss!

Rainbow Colors, that’s one of the most difficult cocktails to mix!

Mr.

Jia can actually make it!” many people in the private room gasped in surprise.

The scions of wealthy families who could come to such a place were all well-traveled and knowledgeable.

They might not mix drinks themselves, but they were well-acquainted with the various types of cocktails.

Among them, Rainbow Colors was one of the most challenging to create!

Being able to mix a Rainbow Colors cocktail was a sign of a true bartender!

Accordingly, even Xiang Daisan and Lan Yueke couldn’t help but widen their eyes in admiration for Jia Yanjun.

After all, Jia Yanjun, with his background, ability, and looks, was definitely a top-notch young master, the Prince Charming in the hearts of countless young ladies!

Even Xiang Daisan had to admit Jia Yanjun’s excellence all along!

Now that he was about to mix such an elegant and challenging cocktail as Rainbow Colors, Xiang Daisan couldn’t help but feel a little stirred.

But, that was just it; she simply had no feelings for Jia Yanjun, otherwise she would not have rejected his advances!

Seeing Xiang Daisan’s reaction, Jia Yanjun’s eyes lit up, and he smiled, “Shanshan, just wait a moment, I will mix one for you, and then you can try the taste!”

With that, Jia Yanjun began to mix the drink.

Compared to a real bartender, Jia Yanjun’s movements were somewhat slow, but in everyone’s eyes, it was already quite impressive.

Jiang Huijun, sitting next to Jia Yanjun, had a face as dark as thunder, looking at Xiang Daisan and Lan Yueke with grinding silver teeth and eyes filled with resentment!

Ten minutes later.

Jia Yanjun stopped his movements, and a cocktail with seven distinct colors appeared before their eyes, like a rainbow from the horizon captured in a glass, with clear layers, stunningly beautiful!

“Wow, it’s a real seven-color rainbow!”

The crowd exclaimed in amazement again.

Jia Yanjun slightly raised his head, his expression full of smugness; then, he brought the seven-color rainbow cocktail over to Xiang Daisan, “Shanshan, have a taste!”

“Okay!”

Xiang Daisan smiled lightly and took the glass, sipping gently under the envious gazes of her classmates.

“Not bad!”

She commented with a smile after putting down the glass.

Seeing this, Jia Yanjun’s face beamed with joy, as it was a rare occasion for Xiang Daisan to give him such a smile.

“Hehe, Mr.

Jia, that’s still not enough!

The seven-color rainbow is quite difficult, but if you can make Shansan a Dry Martini, maybe then she’ll agree to your request!”

Lan Yueke glanced at Jiang Huijun, whose complexion had turned sullen like the bottom of a pot, and teased again.

Dry Martini?

Jia Yanjun frowned slightly, struggling, as the Dry Martini was even more difficult than the seven-color rainbow cocktail, and he couldn’t make it.

But then something dawned on him; his eyes lit up, and he quickly said, “Shanshan, wait a moment!”

Finishing his words, Jia Yanjun left the private room.

Five minutes later, he returned with a red-haired, high-nosed foreign man.

“Wow, it’s Master Murphy, the resident bartender of Huilong Mountain Vineyard!

Mr.

Jia actually brought him over!”

The crowd recognized the foreigner who had walked in, their eyes lighting up with excitement as they exclaimed.

Xiang Daisan and Lan Yueke also widened their beautiful eyes, their pretty faces filled with anticipation.

Master Murphy, a world-class bartender residing at Huilong Mountain Vineyard!

It’s said he was hired by the vineyard owner for a hefty sum!

“Master Moo, thank you for this!”

Jia Yanjun politely invited Master Murphy to take a seat.

“Hehe, no trouble at all!

But, I will only make one cocktail for Mr.

Jia; everyone else need not ask,” Master Murphy waved his hand and chuckled, replying in a rather awkward Huaxia tongue.

After that, he began to work, and the speed of his hands was several times faster than Jia Yanjun’s.

In just three minutes, Master Murphy stopped his movements.

A clear cocktail, brimming with the essence of nature, appeared before everyone.

“Mr.

Jia, please offer it to the person you cherish!

If it weren’t for hearing that you’re doing this for a beautiful girl, I would not have lifted a finger!”

Master Murphy gestured towards the Dry Martini on the table and spoke with a smile.

Upon hearing this, Jia Yanjun was overjoyed and hurriedly picked up the cocktail to approach Xiang Daisan with a look full of deep affection, “Shanshan, I think you’ve always known how I feel about you, please agree to be my girlfriend?

If you say yes, I will kneel halfway to offer you this drink!”

Xiang Daisan furrowed her brows slightly, then shook her head and said, “Jia Yanjun, if that’s the case, then I’m sorry, I’ve lost interest in this cocktail!”

Upon hearing this, Jia Yanjun’s face darkened slightly, shocked that Xiang Daisan would reject him so directly in public, completely disregarding his face.

“A glass of sour wine, and you want someone to agree to be your girlfriend?”

Suddenly, a faint voice came from the side.

The crowd turned their heads to look and were surprised to find that the one who had spoken was Lin Tian.

“What did you say?”

Jia Yanjun’s face turned cold as he demanded.

“I said, just because of a glass of sour wine, you want to chase after Sister Shuyi’s cousin?

Isn’t that a bit childish!

Besides, Shanshan doesn’t like you, so it’s better if you don’t bother her,” Lin Tian replied indifferently, giving Jia Yanjun a nonchalant glance.

He could tell that Xiang Daisan didn’t really have any special feelings towards Jia Yanjun, and since Shuyi had asked him to come over and accompany her, she obviously did not want Xiang Daisan to be insulted or harassed.

Lin Tian naturally couldn’t stand by idly at this moment.

Moreover, to Lin Tian, those cocktails like the seven-color rainbow or the Dry Martini were nothing but sour wines mixed with various things.

The group was making such a fuss over it, which bemused him.

Plus, seeing Xiang Daisan’s displeased expression, he couldn’t help but intervene.
