My Talent Skill Mutated

”Fatty, that thing’s attack is no joke. Going head-to-head like that, you must be a masochist, huh?” came the voice of the buzz-cut youth.

”A little scratch like this is nothing to me.” The transformed fatty shot out from the shattered rocks.

A wound had appeared on his body, but in the span of a breath, it healed completely.

WHOOSH—!

The next second, the fatty shot out with lightning speed, sending a peak Level 8 Star Beast flying with a single punch. His massive body made the entire canyon tremble.

The buzz-cut youth wasn’t idle either, taking on three other Star Beasts by himself to keep them occupied.

He seemed to be under no pressure at all, activating his Superpower and severely wounding a Level 8 Star Beast almost instantly.

Meanwhile, the long-haired youth stood in place, quietly watching the scene.

His eyes were fixed on the battle, seemingly oblivious to his surroundings.

...

”Brother Yu, these three are really strong. I don’t think we can take them,” Zhuge Qingtian said with a serious expression as he watched the fight.

”We haven’t even fought. How would you know?” Dongfang Yao retorted with a pout.

Chen Yu said nothing, silently observing the brutal scene in the canyon.

”Brother Yu, should we make a move?” Zhuge Qingtian asked.

”Let’s wait a bit longer,” Chen Yu replied, his eyes still on the battle.

”Friends, since you’re already here, why hide? Are you afraid to show yourselves? Perhaps you’re from an Otherworld?”

Just then, the long-haired youth’s voice suddenly rang out.

The trio’s gazes sharpened.

’We’ve been discovered.’

The two of them subconsciously looked toward Chen Yu.

”Let’s show ourselves,” Chen Yu said, then stood up and emerged from behind the massive rock.

Seeing this, Dongfang Yao and Zhuge Qingtian promptly stood up and stepped out from behind the rock as well.

Not far away, the long-haired youth’s gaze fell upon the three of them.

An invisible, powerful pressure washed over them.

BZZZ—!

Chen Yu took a step forward, unleashing the might of his Force Field. The two invisible pressures collided, causing ripples in the space between them.

”Hm?”

The long-haired youth narrowed his eyes, looking at Chen Yu’s group.

More accurately, his gaze landed on Chen Yu himself.

A mere Sixth-level Martial Artist had actually managed to easily block the impact of his aura.

”People of the Otherworld, may I ask which world you hail from?”

the long-haired youth asked, his voice directed at Chen Yu.

At this moment, the other two, who were not far away, saw Chen Yu and his companions and subconsciously froze.

But the Star Beasts didn’t stop. Their attacks struck the two men, sending them flying.

”Dammit, we got careless.” The buzz-cut youth spat out a mouthful of blood and wiped the corner of his mouth.

But just as he was about to strike back, crystalline snowflakes suddenly began to fall from the sky.

Hm?

The pupils of the buzz-cut youth and the fatty contracted. They sensed an intense danger from the crystalline snowflakes and subconsciously retreated a few steps.

”Let’s deal with the beasts first. I’ll answer your questions later,” Chen Yu’s voice rang out.

As soon as he finished speaking, countless crystalline snowflakes descended. The Star Beasts roared, having also sensed the danger, but it was too late.

The crystalline snowflakes fell and instantly froze them solid, not even sparing the strongest one, the peak Level 8 Star Beast.

”Fatty, this guy’s Ice Ability is insane! It’s on a whole other level compared to yours!” the buzz-cut youth exclaimed. The fatty didn’t reply, his expression turning extremely grim.

ZZZT~

Sparks of lightning flared as he activated Godspeed. A blade flashed, and within the span of a breath, the heads of the frozen Star Beasts were instantly severed.

He spread his five fingers, stripping their Life Force and instantly sealing it away.

It all happened in a brief instant.

By the time the others snapped back to their senses, the four Star Beasts were as dead as they could be.

!!!

Even the long-haired youth couldn’t help but be inwardly shaken by this scene.

He could have killed them too, but to do it so easily and quickly... he probably fell a little short.

Several pairs of eyes fell on Chen Yu, their gazes filled with intense wariness.

A Sixth-level Martial Artist with such formidable strength... his revealed cultivation level was clearly just the tip of the iceberg.

Chen Yu looked back at the three of them.

”Your strength is formidable and admirable, my friend. I am Dongfang Yu. May I ask your name?”

The long-haired youth looked at him, retracting his aura and speaking in a gentle tone.

’Dongfang Yu?’

’Another member of the Dongfang family?’

Chen Yu was taken aback and subconsciously glanced at Dongfang Yao beside him.

Zhuge Qingtian also looked at Dongfang Yao.

Seeing this, the long-haired youth was slightly startled.

”Are you also from the Dongfang family?” Chen Yu finally asked, looking at the long-haired youth.

Hearing this question, the long-haired youth seemed to understand something. He looked at Chen Yu and said, ”I am indeed from the Dongfang family, from the Celestial Essence Star. Could it be that you, my friend, are also from the Dongfang family?”

...

Looking at the long-haired youth, Chen Yu felt an inward twitch. He knew the Dongfang family’s influence was immense, spanning the Nine Realms of humanity, but running into one of them here was quite a coincidence.

Snapping back to reality, Chen Yu glanced at Dongfang Yao, then back at Dongfang Yu, and said, ”I’m not from the Dongfang family, but my friend here is.”

”Oh?”

Dongfang Yu turned to Dongfang Yao, looking her up and down with a curious expression. ”Since we are of the same clan, may I ask your name?”

”Dongfang Yao,” she stated her name from beside him.

”Dongfang Yao...” Dongfang Yu looked down, quickly searching through his memories. Suddenly, he seemed to recall something, and his head snapped up, his eyes widening as he stared at her.

”You... you’re that Dongfang Yao from the Ancestor Star, the one with the Phoenix Power?!”

’Looks like she’s pretty famous!’ Chen Yu thought, surprised, upon hearing Dongfang Yu’s words and seeing his shocked expression.

’But then again,’ he mused, ’the Phoenix Power is known as a Supreme Superpower, something that surpasses S-rank.’

He didn’t know much about the internal affairs of the Dongfang family, but it seemed Dongfang Yao’s reputation within the clan was anything but ordinary.
