My Talent Skill Mutated

Chen Yu’s eyes suddenly lit up with excitement.

”Brother Yu, did you find something?” Dongfang Yao, who was beside him, noticed the change in his expression.

Zhuge Qingtian also looked toward Chen Yu.

Chen Yu nodded, gazing into the depths of the wasteland. ”Yes. I’ve found traces of Star Beasts. Four of them—three at Level 8, and one at Level 7 Peak.”

”That powerful!”

Zhuge Qingtian’s eyelid twitched, but his surprise was immediately followed by delight.

It was a formidable lineup, but for the three of them, as long as a Ninth-level Star Beast didn’t show up, it wouldn’t be too much of a problem.

It would just be a bit of a hassle.

If they took care of it, the Life Force they would harvest would certainly be substantial.

’Of course there are risks! That’s normal!’

”Let’s go. We’ll check it out first, and if the situation is right, we’ll make our move,” Chen Yu said, taking the lead. As soon as he finished speaking, his figure flickered and shot deep into the wasteland.

The other two followed close behind, keeping up with Chen Yu, and they soon vanished from sight.

...

In a gorge within the barren Gobi, several behemoths were roaming.

At the top of the gorge, three figures appeared without a sound.

Using his Life Force Field to conceal their energy fluctuations, Chen Yu watched the behemoths deep in the gorge.

The four Star Beasts looked like a family.

”Hmm?”

”Wait!”

Just as Zhuge Qingtian was about to activate his Superpower and attack, Chen Yu suddenly placed a hand on his shoulder.

A Force Field swept over them, and the trio vanished from the gorge’s peak, reappearing behind a massive boulder.

”What is it, Brother Yu?” Dongfang Yao asked, looking at Chen Yu. Zhuge Qingtian stared at him as well.

She scanned the sky, but there didn’t seem to be anything out of the ordinary.

Chen Yu’s expression was grave as he looked into the depths of the nebula. ”Someone’s coming.”

”It looks like people from another world.”

”People from another world!” Hearing this, the expressions of the other two immediately grew serious.

Among the Nine Realms, the resources of the other worlds were, by comparison, far superior to those of the Ancestor Star.

Encountering people from another world on the very first day meant their landing points weren’t far from each other.

The three of them hid behind the large boulder. With the Life Force Field masking their auras, it would be difficult to detect them unless someone came right up to them.

They watched the celestial nebula, and after a short while, several figures emerged from within the thick clouds.

It was also a group of three: a young man with long hair, a fatty, and another young man with a crew cut.

All three were unfamiliar faces, not among the twelve from the Ancestor Star.

Without a doubt, they had to be Elite Students from another world.

’Level 9!!!’

Their gazes fell upon the long-haired young man, and they were inwardly shaken.

The long-haired young man in the lead had already reached Ninth-Level Cultivation.

The crew-cut youth and the fatty behind him were both at the peak of Level 8.

This level of strength was even greater than they had anticipated.

Moreover, they all possessed powerful sources of Superpower within them. Their true combat strength was impossible to estimate at the moment.

”Brother Yu, this looks a little tricky,”

Zhuge Qingtian said in a low voice.

”Let’s wait and see,” Chen Yu said.

A Ninth-level Martial Artist... Although Chen Yu was confident in himself, and had even killed a Ninth-level opponent before, the price he’d paid had been immense.

His strength had increased considerably since then, but easily taking down a Ninth-level was still impossible.

To face one head-on, he would have to use his trump cards.

...

From the nebula, the three figures descended from the sky, landing on the edge of the gorge in the distance.

The long-haired young man looked down at the behemoths in the gorge, then his gaze swept the surroundings, and his brow furrowed.

”Brother Yu, what’s wrong?” Beside him, the crew-cut youth couldn’t help but ask when he saw the long-haired man frowning.

The long-haired young man scanned the area again, his brow still tightly locked. ”I feel like someone is watching us.”

”Huh? Someone’s watching!”

Hearing this, the expressions of the crew-cut youth and the fatty turned solemn.

”ROAR—!”

Just then, a heaven-shaking roar erupted from deep within the gorge.

A destructive silver wave of light swept toward them.

”Let’s deal with these beasts first,” the long-haired young man said. With a casual wave of his hand, space distorted, and a violent gust of wind formed a Palm Seal to meet the attack head-on.

RUMBLE!!!

A thunderous explosion rang out as the attacks collided. A violent aura raged, shaking the entire gorge.

”Brother Yu, you can just watch from here. We can handle these.”

The crew-cut youth spoke, and as soon as the words left his mouth, he erupted with a powerful Superpower fluctuation. A purple light rose from his body.

BZZZT!!

A purple orb of light, filled with a destructive aura, appeared in his hand.

WHOOSH!!

The purple orb of destruction shot through the air like a high-speed missile.

BOOM—!!!

An earth-shattering explosion erupted. For a moment, it was as if the heavens were falling and the earth was splitting apart as a mushroom cloud soared into the sky.

At the same time, the fatty also made his move, his portly body soaring into the air like a bird.

He pushed his palms forward, and a wave of blue frost swept out.

The frigid qi swept forth, freezing everything in its path!

It almost instantly flash-froze the entire gorge.

The four Star Beasts were encased in ice, but only for a moment. The strongest among them shattered the ice and fired a destructive beam at the fatty in mid-air.

”Heh heh, get a taste of your grandpa’s power!” Seeing the Star Beast’s attack, the fatty didn’t retreat. Instead, he grinned.

His body swelled, instantly transforming until he was over ten meters tall, his skin turning purple.

”Break for me!”

The transformed fatty roared. Purple light flared as he threw a punch, forming a powerful fist seal that met the Star Beast’s attack.

BOOM!!

An explosion resounded. The transformed fatty was sent flying and slammed violently against the rock face.
