Reincarnated As a Fox With System

Chapter 474: Stealing Food from the Tiger’s Mouth!

Tang Li Xue looked up toward the sky. It almost turned dark, and she decided to start devising some plans in her mind to steal the royal jelly and honey from the Gargantuan Sapphire Wasp.

It was a pity that she could not use her [Ethereal Form] to sneak into this Gargantuan Sapphire Wasp Hive, or it would be a piece of cake for her to steal everything she wants and escape from there.

Thankfully, she still has the [Shadow Striders]ʼs equipment effect as a replacement.

(Shadow Walker: Turned invisible in the dark place.)

With this [Shadow Walker] and combined it with her [Art of Concealment], Tang Li Xue could turn invisible and undetectable at night.

As long as she could proceed carefully and avoid bright places, Tang Li Xue had complete confidence in sneaking in and stealing that extremely precious royal jelly and honey from this Gargantuan Sapphire Wasp Hive.

Of course, [Shadow Walker] alone was far from enough, so Tang Li Xue also took out a few talismans left in her spatial pouch to check them.

”Tsk, there is only one stack of [Talisman of Regeneration +3] left... Sigh... I should use them more sparingly from now on.”

”Four [Hidden Exploding Talisman +3]... Hmm... Not bad, but they are not really useful since they could not hurt those Sapphire Armored Wasps... Oh, wait... At least, I can still use them as a diversion later. Awesome!”

”Oh, there are still two [Stealth Talisman +3] left! Great! I can use them on Little Loki to make it invisible too! As for the last one, I can use it in an emergency situation to hide, or I can even use it to pass some bright places later!”

”Oho~ There are also five [Stealth Illusion Talisman +3]! Good thing! I can use them to add some chaos when I sneak in later! It should make my job easier!”

Tang Li Xue sorted all of her talismans while whispering and giggling with a pair of bright topaz blue eyes.

Even Little Loki stared at her strangely from behind.

After the sky turned completely dark, Tang Li Xue started to execute her plan to steal the royal jelly and honey from this Gargantuan Sapphire Wasp Hive.

There were tens of thousands of Sapphire Armored Wasps in this Gargantuan hive, but most of them only came in and out as if they were working on something.

Tang Li Xue did not want to waste her limited time investigating what were these Sapphire Armored Wasps doing, but she estimated that there were at least more than ten thousand Sapphire Armored Wasps constantly guarding the Gargantuan Hive.

Tang Li Xue wanted to use one of [Stealth Talisman +3] to make Little Loki turn invisible, but who knew that Little Loki could turn invisible with its own power.

Tang Li Xue smiled at Little Loki and gave it a thumb up, while Little Loki looked back smugly at Tang Li Xue.

Tang Li Xue giggled as she felt Little Loki was very cute. She could not resist pinching Little Lokiʼs cheek and patting its furry head gently.

After Little Loki jumped back onto her right shoulder, she turned around and dashed swiftly with her full speed toward the Gargantuan Sapphire Wasp Hive.

Under the cover of night skies, the effect of [Shadow Walker] was activated, and Tang Li Xueʼs slender figure turned invisible.

With her [Art of Concealment], Tang Li Xue silently hid her breath and aura. Even her feminine sweet body scent was completely covered, and her heartbeat was slowed down a lot to make her undetectable by the guarding Sapphire Armored Wasps.

Tang Li Xue could easily pass hundreds of Sapphire Armored Wasps that guarding on the front of the Gargantuan Hive, but unfortunately, she immediately realized that her task would not be that easy after she successfully entered the Gargantuan Sapphire Wasp Hive.

Gargantuan Sapphire Wasp Hive has a honeycomb shape. So, all of the entrances and tunnels were actually connected to each other.

After Tang Li Xue entered one of the holes randomly and entered pretty deep, she immediately realized it.

In short, this Gargantuan Sapphire Wasp Hive was like a gigantic maze!

If Tang Li Xue was not careful and picked her road randomly, there was a high chance that she would only enter from one entrance hole and then exit back out from another hole, and it would be wasting so much of her time!

ʼDamn it! Why the hell are these Sapphire Armored Wasps made such a complicated nest?! Are they not afraid of getting lost in their own home?!ʼ Tang Li Xue silently complained in her mind.

Just when Tang Li Xue felt confused and hesitant to continue her plan or give up, Little Loki suddenly licked her left cheek.

”Meow~ Nyaan, Nyaw...” Little Loki meowed while patting its tiny furry chest, then pointing its furry paw toward the southeast.

Tang Li Xueʼs topaz blue eyes brightened like a pair of blue stars as she slapped her own forehead and whispered with delighted tone: ”Ah, how could I forget your ability to detect the treasure?! Awesome! Little Loki, you are truly my lucky star!”

Tang Li Xue dashed toward the direction where Little Loki pointed out without any hesitation.

On her way, she did not forget to check the material of this Gargantuan Sapphire Wasp hiveʼs wall when there was no Sapphire Armored Wasp around.
BBAAAAAAANGGG~!!! CLAAAAAANNNKKK~!!!

Tang Li Xue tried to strike the wall of the Gargantuan Sapphire Wasp hive with her full powered kick and slash it with her [Frost Swan Sword], but she failed to leave any dent or faint scratch on the hiveʼs wall.

Even the frost effect of his [Frost Swan Sword] had absolutely no effect on this nestʼs walls.

Tang Li Xue exclaimed in astonishment while holding her reddened hand in pain: ”So hard! It might be even harder than the jade wall at the Myriad Fox Academy! I wonder what kind of material does those Sapphire Armored Wasps use to build this hive? Ummm... Okay, then letʼs try to burn it instead this time...”

Tang Li Xue could not use her blue Flame of Pride yet since the Phoenix of Pride was still in the deep sleep to digest the source of Purple Ghost Flame, so she could only use her [Hidden Exploding Talisman +3] to test the hiveʼs wall.

BBBOOOOOOOMMM~!!!

”Oh, crap! The explosion was too loud! Letʼs quickly get out of here before those Sapphire Armored Wasps come!” Tang Li Xue realized as she quickly hugged Little Loki and executed her [Snow Dance Step].

Her slender figure turned into a flash in an instant as she swiftly dashed away from that explosionʼs place.

Before she got away from there, Tang Li Xue took a quick peek and her expression grimaced slightly when she saw that even her [Hidden Exploding Talisman +3] failed to leave any burn mark on the hiveʼs wall.

”Indestructible wall that impervious to any attack... Even ice and flame have no effect at all... Sigh, so troublesome!” Tang Li Xue muttered.

Little Lokiʼs ability to find the precious treasures was certainly helpful for them to find the royal jelly and honey in this confusing maze-like Gargantuan Sapphire Wasp Hive, but the real problem right now was how to get out from here AFTER they took those royal jelly and honey later!

What if they got lost later under the chase of thousands of Sapphire Armored Wasps and could not get out from this Gargantuan Sapphire Wasp Hive...

When Tang Li Xue was thinking hard of a way out to prevent that situation from happening in the future, the hundreds of Sapphire Armored Wasps suddenly came toward her at once.

The hundreds of Sapphire Armored Wasps lined up tidily and flew very quickly toward her in an orderly manner.

There were too many Sapphire Armored Wasps, so Tang Li Xue did not have any more space to hide or to avoid them.

At this rate, she would bump onto any of them soon! Even though Tang Li Xue was still in an invisible state but she would certainly get discovered if she bump onto them!

ʼDamn it! They are coming here too fast! It is too late for us to run away from them! No choice... It is time for plan B now!ʼ Tang Li Xue thought with a solemn expression as she took out her [Scepter of Disaster] from her space pouch.

Tang Li Xue imprisoned many evil spirits in her [Scepter of Disaster] before in the third trial of Heavenly Sword Immortalʼs Inheritance Trials.

She planned to tame all of them slowly one by one later to form her own evil spirit armies, but she chose to release some of them now as a diversion right now.

Tang Li Xue pointed the [Scepter of Disaster] in her grasp forward, and several two-headed black dogs suddenly summoned out from the [Scepter of Disaster].

Then she swiftly activated her [Shadow Striders]ʼs equipment skill, [Shadow Flash], to teleport away from there, so those several two-headed black dogs would not have any chance to attack her.

(Shadow Flash: Teleport to any shadow up to 100 meters away in an instant. Cooldown: 10 minutes.)

Those two-headed black dogs were the hungry beast souls, so they would attack anyone in their sight to eat.

Although, Tang Li Xue and Little Loki were still in an invisible state but she was still unsure if those two-headed black dogs could use their sharp sense to detect her and attack her on the spot, so she quickly decided to keep her distance from them.

Since those several two-headed black dogs could not find Tang Li Xue and Little Loki, they pounced and attacked the armies of Sapphire Armored Wasps that flew toward them instead.

Hundreds of Sapphire Armored Wasps was not afraid and fighting head-on against several two-headed black dogs!

There were so many Sapphire Armored Wasps, so logically, those Sapphire Armored Wasps could easily tear apart a few black two-headed dogs with ease.

However, those black two-headed dogs were not living creatures!

They were only hungry evil spirits without any physical body!

Any physical attack could not hurt them at all!
