Madame is Pretending to be an Academic Slacker Again!

Chapter 523: Chapter 523: The Asylum’s Aerial Drone; High-Difficulty Rules of the All-Around Competition

Compared to the tension among their peers, Qin Xin seemed entirely indifferent to the Academic All-Round Competition.

This was driving Song Anjing crazy, who seized every opportunity to play recordings of tutors for Qin Xin, turning her life into a world of incessant whisperings!

”Sister Xin, stop playing with your phone. Just listen for five minutes, okay? Five minutes! Our Pharmacy College dean is explaining key points in identifying medicinal herbs...”

”He’s wrong.”

”Huh? No way, the dean! He even said during my final exams that the review notes you gave me were his, and I got a perfect score because of them!”

”His notes are also full of mistakes.”

”What???”

Song Anjing was truly frustrated.

Meanwhile, Qin Xin was genuinely focused on her phone.

Every day, she would regularly check a surveillance software where on the other end, it tracked the operations of an aerial drone.

This morning, she finally noticed that Wu Zhiming from the ’mad house’ had fixed the drone and was fiddling with it excitedly.

The aerial drone would hover around Wu Zhiming’s yard as programmed, hiding in a corner to start detailed tracking when it detected someone entering.

This way, she would clearly know who was visiting Wu Zhiming and what they were asking him to do.

She observed for two days and found that Wu Zhiming’s place was quite peaceful, with no interruptions for the time being.

But it didn’t matter; it’s only a matter of time before someone gets caught on camera.

The day of the Academic All-Round Competition.

Huo Zhen also arrived at the school.

Like Qin Xin, Huo Zhen was an auditing student, making this competition crucial, as their ranking would directly determine whether they could earn the ticket to become full-status students.

In order to set a good example for Huo Zhen, Qin Xin finally took the competition a bit more seriously.

On the way to the exam, she even had Song Anjing play a tutorial recording and occasionally asked Huo Zhen, ”Can you hear where the mistake is?”

Sometimes when Huo Zhen couldn’t identify the error, she would insist on playing it again.

This delighted Song Anjing.

However, Huo Zhen was a bit puzzled: ”Sister Xin, are we also taking the Pharmacy College’s exam questions?”

Qin Xin nodded, ”Yes.”

Song Anjing explained, ”The Academic All-Round Competition lasts for three days, covering multiple subjects. It’s a point-based competition; you can enter any college’s exam hall to take the test, and the scores will count for you. Ultimately, rankings are based on total points. If you want to shed the auditing student label and earn a ticket to become full-status students, you need to rank in the top ten on the total score list. Sister Xin is having you review the Pharmacy College’s questions to boost your total score a bit.”

She sighed and added, ”I know making it to the top ten is extremely difficult; no auditing student has ever made it in past years. But this year, there’s good news for you: there’s no longer a strict requirement to be in the top ten overall, as each college will offer two slots to convert auditing students, and you just need to rank in the top two among the auditing students participating from your college!”

In other words, the overall score isn’t what matters; what’s crucial is surpassing your fellow auditing student competitors.

Huo Zhen understood and couldn’t help but ask, ”Then how many auditing students from our Medical College are competing for these two slots this year?”

Song Anjing: ”I only know that Pharmacy College has 10 auditing students.”

At that moment, Ao Xinghao squinted his fox-like eyes and casually said, ”I’ve checked it out: the Medical College, from freshman year to senior year, has a total of 35 auditing students, and 33 are competing.”

”Wow, your Medical College is really ruthless! The competition is so intense.”

Song Anjing clicked her tongue.

Ranking in the top two out of ten and ranking in the top two out of 33 are worlds apart in terms of difficulty.
