The First Store System

Chapter 1254: A New Day for the Store(1)

The sun rose on Thorr and its nearby cities, forcing the darkness to return. It was the beginning of a new life for many, while life played out as usual for the residents of Seventeenth Street.

A large crowd of customers was standing in front of the mysterious store with a mysterious store owner. As the first ray of sunlight peered through the blanket of darkness, the peopleʼs eyes glowed with excitement, and the store opened its door.

Aakesh was greeted by a large number of customers when he opened the doors. He didnʼt let them wait any longer, turned around, and returned to his chair.

The crowd thronged to the store like a raging tide since everyone was in a competition to enter Panagea.

The next moment, astonished and excited expressions appeared on the customerʼs faces. The number of golden lights engulfing the customers had grown by more than double.

This phenomenon occurred after a long time, but now that it had happened again, the customers were excited.

Those who were quick enough to get a spot in the thirty-five thousand plus spots were jubilant, while the remaining were disappointed.

Those who owned the store cards immediately went toward the portal room, while those who didnʼt; formed a queue in front of Aakesh.

”Hello, store owner!” Maria respectfully greeted Aakesh.

Aakesh silently nodded in response to her greeting. With a bright smile on her face, she left the line and proceeded toward the portal room. She already had the store card; it was just her habit to greet Aakesh every day before entering Panagea.

After Maria left, another customer took her place. It was Favan. He then paid for Panagea and hurriedly proceeded toward the room.

Favan was the first customer to enter the store in the Sacred Dimension. He had an early start over other customers in Panagea and wanted to keep at it for as long as possible.

His lead over other customers stayed for years, but as the number of adventurers grew, he felt his lead shrinking, and now he was out of the top thirty, forget being in the top three.

If it had been Favan before entering the store, he would have acted indignant for years due to that. When he entered the store, he believed himself to be a man of destiny.

But as he saw one powerful cultivator after another enter the store, his outlook started to shift. His character became humble; he no longer treated himself as a man of destiny.

It didnʼt mean that he gave up on his goal of being the top adventurer in Panagea. He still aimed to be the top-ranked adventurer and worked hard for it.

He touched the closest empty virtual portal, and the next moment, he was sucked inside, appearing in Panagea on the spot where he was a day before exiting Panagea.

Favan had been busy learning combat over the past several months. Adventurers were immortal in Panagea since they could revive unlimitedly, and Favan also used that attribute to complete his quests.

But as his level grew, he found that the unlimited revival only allowed him to live again, but it didnʼt help him beat his opponents. As the power level increased, so did the strength.

It no longer mattered how many times Favan revived from the dead in the middle of the battle. He was dead again the next moment.

Favan understood his weakness when it came to fighting, so he decided to postpone increasing his levels and solely focus on learning how to fight efficiently.

There were more than one hundred thousand customers that entered the store in the morning.

38,148 of them went to Panagea. Of the remaining, some sat down, meditating, while others went toward other rooms.

There was also a new customer in the group. When every first group customer had paid for their entry and left for Panagea, the man finally got his turn.

”Hello, store owner,” The man respectfully greeted Aakesh.

Aakesh silently nodded in response to the manʼs greetings and waited for him to ask the question.

The man wasnʼt from any of the demon group of races but was a human who had come here after his friend informed him of the store.

Humanity was a race that was once one of the top races, but currently, it was an upper mid-tier race since the strongest human in the Sacred Dimension was only the Sacred Emperor.

Ruwan came from the Glasson family, one of the few human families with a Sacred King level cultivator. Humanity was a race that was popular for its greedy trait.

That trait had as much helped the race as it had brought them harm. Having a Sacred King level cultivator in the family made the Glassons greedy for the territory of another human family.

It resulted in war and an overwhelming victory for the Glassons. Ruwanʼs father was the Sacred King cultivator, while his mother was one of the playthings his father grabbed from the ruined family.

Ruwan had grown up seeing the humiliation his mother had to live with every day. It resulted in his father becoming the most hated figure in his heart.

Ruwan wanted revenge for what his father did to his mother. To do that, he needed to become stronger. Ruwanʼs father was cautious when it came to security, so all his children from the woman he captured and from different families were to be thrown out of the family once they became adults.

Only the children he had from the Glasson females could fight for the throne. Ruwan was also thrown out of the family once he reached adulthood, and he had been trying to find ways to make himself stronger.

After thousands of years, Ruwan was only a peak Divine Lord cultivator with no hope of stepping into the True God level, but a friend he made completely changed his destiny.

That friend gave him the cultivation art required for stepping to the True God level and treated him as family. After getting directions from the friend, he went to Farren, the training ground for humans left by Arjuna.

Ruwan grew to the Higher God level but stopped growing any further, and in the end, he exhausted his eleven million years, so the ruin forced him out.

Ruwan didnʼt have enough merit points since he had been splurging on ways to grow his cultivation.

After exiting the Farren planet, Ruwan went to meet his mother, only to find that she had been killed sometime after he was thrown out of the family. As for who killed his mother, it wasnʼt tough to find. It was a popular scandal in the family.

One of Ruwanʼs older stepbrothers lusted after his mother and ended up forcing him on her. She put up a strong fight, which caused the guy to kill her.

After learning about it, Ruwan flew into a blinding rage and rushed to attack the man. Ruwan almost died as a result of that.

If not for his friend coming to save him, he would have been killed by his father. Only then did Ruwan come to know the identity of the person, whom he called his friend.

His friend was the son of the strongest human in the Sacred Dimension, resulting in Ruwanʼs father backing out.

What further angered Ruwan was that his father saved the guy when he should have been the one to punish the man for committing such an evil sin.

That moment generated such hatred in Ruwanʼs heart that he declared the Glasson family an irreparable enemy in his heart. He vowed to kill every last member of the Glasson family that day, leaving only him as the sole blood relative to that family.

Ruwan wasnʼt strong enough to kill his father, but the rage in his heart didnʼt allow him to let his stepbrother live. In a blinding rage, he announced a challenge to the guy.

Ruwanʼs father accepted it since he also wanted to eliminate Ruwan. He saw the hatred Ruwan carried for him in his eyes.

With that personʼs support, he couldnʼt harm Ruwan, but if Ruwan was the one who challenged, that person could do nothing.

Ruwanʼs friend sighed helplessly when he heard of the challenge, but knowing his friend, it was expected. Even though he himself wanted to kill that bastard, due to his fatherʼs order to stay away from human conflicts, he didnʼt directly attack.

Ruwanʼs father accepted the challenge in place of his son, causing Ruwan to grow even more angry. But that time, Ruwan forcefully controlled himself and didnʼt say anything unnecessary.

”Store owner, please tell me about the skills,” Ruwan requested since he was in desperate need of skills for the upcoming battle.
