Overlord of the Wilderness

Zhaang Ye’s expression didn’t change in the slightest. He abruptly chopped a palm upward.

BOOM!

His palm struck the golden flower, which instantly exploded, releasing an incredibly dense metallic aura that spread out abruptly. Under the influence of this aura, the ground for dozens of yards around turned cold and hard, as if it were a massive slab of metal.

After shattering the golden flower Galaxy had manifested, Zhaang Ye stomped his foot lightly. An invisible force surged directly toward the Grass Slave, the Wood Slave, and the Vine Slave.

By now, killing intent had risen in Zhaang Ye’s heart. He planned to kill all four Medicine Slaves in one fell swoop and restore peace to Rising Sun Peak. Of course, this act was also a warning to Galaxy—a show of force.

”How dare you!”

Seeing Zhaang Ye not only crush the Flower Slave but now move to kill the Grass Slave, Wood Slave, and Vine Slave as well, a cold light flashed in Galaxy’s eyes. ’These Medicine Slaves might not be much, but they submitted to me and recognize me as their master. If I let Zhaang Ye kill them right in front of me, I’ll lose all face.’

SWOOSH!

Galaxy also stomped his foot lightly, sending out an Aura of Gold to intercept Zhaang Ye’s power. But Galaxy had, after all, underestimated Zhaang Ye. The very instant he blocked the attack, Zhaang Ye’s gaze swept over the Grass Slave, Wood Slave, and Vine Slave.

PFFT! PFFT! PFFT!

Zhaang Ye’s gaze was like a sharp blade, viciously slicing through the three men’s bodies. The three Medicine Slaves, swept by his glance, were all sliced in two and died on the spot!

’Hm? This Zhaang Ye actually killed people with just his gaze, controlling the wind in the void. What a strange Wind Realm! But to dare kill someone right in front of me... I must teach him a lesson he’ll never forget!’

Galaxy’s face turned ashen. He suddenly took a step forward, a large, glittering golden hand reaching straight for Zhaang Ye, intending to teach him that unforgettable lesson.

A cold smirk appeared on Zhaang Ye’s lips. Faced with Galaxy’s attack, he surprisingly didn’t dodge or evade. His palm transformed into a glittering golden blade and chopped straight toward Galaxy’s hand.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

Both of their palms were glittering with golden light, as if made of metal. In fact, the sound of their palms clashing was identical to the sound of real metal striking metal. Their hands met in midair like two great metal mountains smashing into each other, and the entire Rising Sun Peak trembled from the impact.

Galaxy cultivated a Gold Element Technique, and the Realm he comprehended was the Golden Realm, granting him boundless strength in his every move. But after clashing head-on with Zhaang Ye three times, Galaxy realized that his own colossal strength was surprisingly unable to overwhelm Zhaang Ye. He could feel that Zhaang Ye’s power was in no way inferior to his own.

Sensing Zhaang Ye’s formidable power, Galaxy’s expression grew even colder, and a sense of unease churned within him. He had entered the Sect a full twenty years before Zhaang Ye, meaning he had twenty more years of Cultivation. To have twenty extra years of Cultivation yet still be unable to defeat a junior... the humiliation was unbearable for Galaxy.

”Golden Realm, Gold Cutting!”

Galaxy let out a low cry. His two palms transformed into two glittering golden blades that sliced toward Zhaang Ye with a profound technique.

Galaxy’s control over his power was superb. As he struck, he left streaks of golden cracks in the void, each one containing terrifying Power of Gold. The dense Power of Gold slowly began to interweave, forming a metal-like cage that rapidly compressed Zhaang Ye’s room to maneuver, trapping him firmly inside.

Zhaang Ye’s face remained placid. Just as Galaxy finished setting up the metal cage, Zhaang Ye’s form abruptly changed. He became a shapeless gust of wind, a formless pool of water, and effortlessly walked right out of Galaxy’s metal cage.

”What!”

Seeing Zhaang Ye walk out of the metal cage so easily, Galaxy’s frame seemed to swell in size. He shouted, ”Zhaang Ye, it seems I’ve underestimated you. Now, try and withstand my Transforming Earth into Gold!”

BUZZ! BUZZ! BUZZ!

Galaxy no longer dared to look down on Zhaang Ye. With a wave of his fist, streams of the Aura of Gold shot toward Zhaang Ye. These streams of the Aura of Gold were not only extremely sharp but also possessed a strange ability to turn anything they touched into metal.

Faced with such an attack, Zhaang Ye could no longer afford to be relaxed. His hands swept through the air like the wind, leaving behind clusters of fist-sized water spheres in the void. These water spheres spun at high speed, expertly blocking Galaxy’s Aura of Gold.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

When the Aura of Gold struck the water spheres, they exploded together, creating a series of dense detonations. The entire Rising Sun Peak shook from the terrifying power, threatening to collapse at any moment.

A grave expression appeared in Galaxy’s eyes. By this point, he already considered Zhaang Ye a great enemy and was preparing to use his fiercest techniques to settle the score.

Seeing the battle lust in Galaxy’s eyes, Zhaang Ye said coolly, ”Senior Brother Galaxy, if we keep fighting, this Rising Sun Peak will collapse. This peak is known as the number one peak in the Inner Sect. If it collapses, you will be punished by the Sect, no matter how high your Cultivation is.”

A flicker in his eyes, Galaxy slowly unclenched his fists. ”Zhaang Ye,” he said in a low voice, ”sooner or later, there will be a battle between us.”

Leaving those words behind, Galaxy took Lan Heying by the hand, transformed into a faint golden light, and flew toward the foot of the mountain. In the blink of an eye, he passed through the Array and left Rising Sun Peak.

Lan Heying sensed that Galaxy was in a bad mood. She asked, ”Galaxy, how strong is this Zhaang Ye’s combat power?”

Galaxy slowed his flight and said slowly, ”His combat power is strong. Very strong. I sense that Zhaang Ye has not only comprehended the Wind Realm but the Water Realm as well. This person is an absolute genius, and he is also my greatest enemy in the Sect.”

Lan Heying was startled; she had never seen Galaxy praise someone so highly. She asked in surprise, ”Is that Zhaang Ye really so powerful? He’s only been in the Sect for a few short years. How could he possess such incredible combat power?”

Galaxy nodded. ”Zhaang Ye’s combat power surpasses that of any other Inner Sect Disciple. His physical body is exceptionally tough, his strength is unbelievably great, and the True Qi in his body is extremely tyrannical. Most unbelievably, he has comprehended two different Realms. Even I couldn’t do anything to him in the short term.”

Lan Heying’s heart trembled with shock. She had fought Zhaang Ye and knew he was formidable, but she never imagined he was *this* formidable. She asked worriedly, ”Galaxy, are you confident you can defeat him?”

Galaxy laughed heartily and said with arrogance, ”Of course I’m confident. Although Zhaang Ye has comprehended two Realms, neither of them has reached the Minor Achievement Realm.”

”After I comprehended the Golden Realm, I went out to train for twenty years and have already mastered it to the stage of Minor Achievement. The power I unleash can not only cut through any metal but can also turn anything into a piece of metal. A person of flesh and blood who is touched by my aura will quickly become a Metal Man. Zhaang Ye is no match for me at all.”

”Right now, I need to prepare for the Young Master’s Review Assembly three months from now. To avoid injury, I let Zhaang Ye off this time. After three months, once the Assembly is over, I will unleash my true strength and defeat him with absolute power to avenge you!”

Seeing Galaxy’s confidence, Lan Heying was instantly relieved. She giggled and said, ”Alright, Galaxy. I’ll be waiting for you to defeat him then.”

Galaxy smiled confidently, squeezed Lan Heying’s hand tightly, and vanished into the Inner Sect in the blink of an eye.
