Beneath the Red Dragon

Essos Continent, at the edge of the Land of Long Summer.

Hu, a Giant Dragon with enormous wings flapping the stormy winds in the sky, chasing the prey ahead which swiftly maneuvers in the air, slightly quicker in speed.

This is a Giant Dragon stretching forty-five meters long, with shining silver scales beneath which lies dark skin, adorned with silver-golden eyes, several varying-length spikes born from the back of its skull, a fierce dragon head.

Though this Giant Dragon is not ranked among the top in the Valerian Dragon King Clan’s many dragon breeds, it possesses immense power and massive size that mere mortals can only look up to.

These Valerian Two-legged Giant Dragons, despite having the capability for long-flight, do not like wandering around randomly like the dragons in Icaria World.

Two-legged Giant Dragons seldom wander aimlessly, only reaching unfamiliar areas under the rider’s guidance.

Even the Forty Dragon King Clan and their hundreds of thousands of Giant Dragons mainly concentrate around the Fortress of Freedom, and the region surrounding the Land of Long Summer opposite the peninsula where the capital Valerian City is located.

Despite these Two-legged Demon Dragons appearing intelligent to common folk, their actions remain driven by wild instincts and nature.

Thus, the enormous Two-legged Giant Dragon persistently pursues a seemingly frail and strange Giant Dragon ahead, in front of a forty-meter-long Two-legged Giant Dragon, that bat-winged Giant Dragon with butterfly-like wings appears so small.

The body, from head to tail, is only eight meters long, seemingly the dragon behind only needs to open its gargantuan mouth to snap this beautiful yet delicate bat-winged Giant Dragon in half with sharp fangs.

Yet the bat-winged Flying Dragon ahead speeds exceedingly fast, with agile grace, each time when the pursuing dragon almost catches up, its speed slightly increases again, seemingly enticing and teasing the gigantic hunter behind.

”Roar,”

The colossal Two-legged Giant Dragon appears extremely enraged, unable to tolerate its prey’s provocation, hence it opens its gigantic mouth, exposing sharp fangs of varying lengths.

The surging fire briefly brews within the dragon’s throat, transforming into fierce Dragon Flame, spat towards the bat-winged Flying Dragon ahead.

Swoosh,

The threat of high-temperature flames prompts the bat-winged Flying Dragon ahead to accelerate rapidly, almost transforming into a dazzling stream of light before the Dragon Flame contacts the body, darting beyond the range covered by the Dragon Flame.

After escaping the Dragon Flame’s attack range, the bat-winged Flying Dragon unexpectedly twists its long neck, turning its head back triumphantly to look at the furious dragon behind, its pupils flashing with wisdom incomparable to the dragon behind, then emits a provocative cry.

The Dragon behind erupts furiously, vibrating its fleshy membrane wings, charging at the front where the bat-winged Flying Dragon’s speed slows again.

Black Dragon Rosani spreads its wings horizontally, circling within the clouds high above, observing the situation of the two Flying Dragons below with cold vertical pupils.

In the next instant, Black Dragon Rosani squints, both wings slicing through the airflow, carrying a fierce wind, suddenly diving down.

Black Dragon Rosani’s head and claws protrude from the clouds, as his Dragon’s Majesty fully blooms at this moment, oppressing the gigantic Flying Dragon.

The forty-meter-long Giant Dragon, when facing the mere ten-meter-long Black Dragon Rosani, astonishingly frightened by the powerful Dragon’s Majesty, halts its wings suddenly, then abruptly falls from high above.

Fortunately, these dragons instinctively know how to control their wings while navigating the sky, the Giant Flying Dragon promptly beats its wide wings, halting the descent’s decline in midair, arching its head, baring fangs as it roars defiantly towards the high-altitude Black Dragon Rosani.

”Submit to me, vile Dragon Species,”

Black Dragon Rosani, despite being a fraction of the other’s size, displays True Dragon’s Majesty and posture, making the opponent appear as merely a winged beast before the Black Dragon.

Black Dragon Rosani gazes down at the opponent, attempting to communicate with Dragon Language.

”Aaahhhh,”

The massive Two-legged Giant Dragon’s pupils flash beast-like luminescence, assuming an aggressive stance, seeming unable to comprehend Black Dragon Rosani’s words.

Because in the world, many beasts conceal their fear by uttering intimidating roars, while some beasts, overwhelmed by fear, also initiate attacks on adversaries.

Indeed, the massive Two-legged Demon Dragon at the next moment, actively attacked the tiny Black Dragon above, spewing torrents of Dragon Flame from its mouth, scorching the sky.

Black Dragon Rosani observes the response of the Giant Dragon below, gently shaking its head, emitting a disappointed voice, ”It seems you dragons are nothing but beasts that can’t even speak.”

”Unable to speak, lacking legacy, seemingly void of wisdom, not even considered a lesser dragon, vile creature, do you deserve the name of Giant Dragon, playing in the world?”

”Looks like the previous Demon Dragons weren’t an exception, I thought they were merely rare fools, it turns out your species are beasts.”

Black Dragon Rosani spreads its wings horizontally, diving towards the opponent’s Dragon Flame, but the anticipated collision of two gigantic creatures in the sky didn’t occur.

Black Dragon Rosani raised a Magic Shield, enduring the opponent’s Dragon Flame, in rapid dive, controlled the terrifying impact with robust bones, muscles, and Magic Power, like a hummingbird, light and deftly, altering the direction and swiftly swept across from under the massive Demon Dragon’s chest and belly.
