Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 1207 -838: Blood Alliance Forged in the Barn_3

Wait… there might be a place.

Kael glanced towards Dumbledore’s house nearby, more accurately, the highest point of his house, the attic.

The barn window faces that direction, and conversely, it must be able to see inside the barn, but Arianna lives there. If they make any noise, it might wake her up.

Voices were coming from the barn, sounding like some kind of charm…

“Never mind.” Kael gritted his teeth and used the broomstick to reach the top of the attic, trying hard to minimize his movements and stealthily lie there, looking into the barn through the invisibility cloak.

Great, although the window is small, Dumbledore and Grindelwald are standing right in the middle, which he can just see. The only issue is that the view isn’t very clear.

Kael quickly flipped out the panoramic telescope, a little gadget he bought a few years ago at the Quidditch World Cup, now proving quite handy.

Through the telescope, the situation inside the barn was much clearer.

After some delay, they had finished chanting the charm, the two youths stood facing each other in the barn, each carrying an unprecedented sense of devotion on their faces.

The faint magic text swirled around them, adding an aura of solemnity and mystery to the old barn.

Grindelwald manifested a knife in his hand, sliced his palm, blood dripped from the tip, suspended in the air wrapped by the magic text.

Then it was Dumbledore’s turn.

A part of the magic text burrowed into the open wounds on their palms, their trembling hands clasped together, more magic text emerged, swirling madly around them.

The amount of magic text increased, the speed grew faster, resembling a long silver chain coiled around their clasped wrists.

The other end of the chain connected to the blood drops just now. When the light subsided, the magic text transformed into a diamond-shaped silver casing, with the blood drop encapsulated in the center, glowing with extraordinary brilliance.

The diamond silver ornament preserving Grindelwald’s blood linked to the chain on Dumbledore’s wrist, while the corresponding piece naturally fell into Grindelwald’s hand.

Hence, the blood alliance was completed.

This contract forged with wizard blood bears extremely powerful binding effects, essentially meaning that from now on, they almost share the same body, unable to harm each other… even the mere thought would be captured by the contract and incur corresponding punishment.

In the barn, the two youths tightly embraced each other, whispered to each other for a moment before leaving the barn together and quickly vanished into the night, apparently heading for the so-called Southern Highlands.

Meanwhile, Kael, satisfied, lowered the camera from the attic roof.

He originally bought this thing to capture dirt on Fred and George, at the time it was the latest model of magic items, unlike the cheap ones on the market that come with extra flashbulbs, its concealment was superb.

Now it seemed that money was well-spent, the two focused on forming the blood alliance, neither had noticed someone recording their scene from afar.

Just wait until he gets back to develop the photos, soak them in developing potion, and Kael would have a complete and precious album.

Kael chuckled as he put away the camera, preparing to descend from the attic.

“Who are you?”

A voice behind him startled Kael.

An open window sometime before, half a young girl’s body poked through, peering at him.

Admittedly, her action was dangerous, could fall at any moment, but Kael dared not warn her.

Kael didn’t know how he disrupted Arianna, he could only try not to make any sound, hoping Arianna couldn’t see him and would leave.

He did have the invisibility cloak, so she shouldn’t be able to see him… right?

“Why are you silent, why are you on my house’s attic… and what are you wearing, such a magical piece of clothing.”

“Can you see me?” Kael lifted the invisibility cloak and asked.

She had pointed it out, pretending any further seemed pointless, plus it was dangerous having a young girl remain hanging out there.

“No.” Arianna shook her head, “But I knew someone was here.”

Kael assumed this occurrence was likely due to the Obscurus… though unclear of the principle, this explanation seemed to make sense.
