Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 1201 -836: Search_3

If in an unconscious state, the Obscurus would indiscriminately attack everything around until there were no living creatures or intact buildings left, only then would it return to Arianna’s body.

And these, she would remember nothing of when she awoke.

But if Arianna were conscious, she would probably resist the appearance of the Obscurus and try her best to stop it.

In general emotional fluctuations, Arianna can suppress the Obscurus, but she herself would become weaker, a weakness that cannot be removed until she can no longer suppress the Obscurus.

There is also the case where if Arianna’s emotions are too intense and she desperately tries to suppress it, the Obscurus would erupt within her, and that raging dark substance would directly kill her.

The Dumbledore family should be aware of this situation, so they let Arianna stay in a place where she couldn’t be contacted by anyone, not allowing her to go to school or go out.

Only this way could they ensure Arianna wouldn’t be stimulated.

But this method made Arianna only able to stay in a narrow attic; her world consisted of nothing more than Dumbledore, Abeforth, and that small window.

Kael felt a bit lamenting, this kind of imprisonment-style protection seemed overly cruel for a child.

Especially since Arianna was in her teens, the age of curiosity about everything.

Not knowing if his gaze was too passionate, he suddenly saw a small head appear in the attic, it was a little girl, who was also looking at the location of the abandoned barn.

Kael promptly took a couple of steps forward to remove himself from the window’s view.

He didn’t know if Arianna saw him, she probably did, but anyway, at this moment he did not want to intersect with this girl.

Kael shook his head, since he knew the location, it was time to go back, now he just had to peacefully wait for Dumbledore to arrive.

Before leaving, Kael placed an Extendable Ear in the corner of the barn, carefully hidden with straw and broken barrels, so even if he didn’t come here, he could still grasp the situation inside the barn.

But just as Kael completed this, the door of the barn creaked open from the outside, a golden figure immediately filled Kael’s vision.

“Is it you?” Grindelwald looked at Kael, “What are you doing here?”

Kael’s mouth twitched briefly, he couldn’t understand why Grindelwald would come to this abandoned barn.

Especially at this time.

“Oh, you’re Ms. Bagshot’s great-nephew,” he feigned casualness and said, “I just stumbled upon this place accidentally, so I came in to take a look, wondering if I might find some interesting traces.”

“Lies, you didn’t find this place accidentally.” Grindelwald squinted at him, “But I don’t care what you want to do, even though you’re suspect, you must have some purpose for coming here, but I think you shouldn’t be harmful to us.”

“Instinct?”

“No, I can see.” Grindelwald said, his gaze still fixed on Kael, which made Kael a bit uncomfortable.

“By the way, you mentioned you’re researching magical history.” Grindelwald suddenly said, “Do you know about the Hallows?”

“The three Alchemy Items mentioned in The Tales of Beedle the Bard?” Kael said.

“You think they’re Alchemy Items?” Grindelwald’s voice slightly rose.

“Of course, otherwise how could it be explained.” Kael said, “It couldn’t possibly truly be the creation of a God, that’s hardly magical, I would rather believe they are the masterpiece of some powerful Alchemist, and over hundreds or thousands of years, they were imbued with a mysterious legend.

“What’s wrong, why suddenly ask this, do you believe in that story?”

“Nothing, just casually asking.”

Upon hearing Kael’s words, the expression on Grindelwald’s face immediately became much calmer, seemingly losing interest in Kael.

“I have matters to attend to, you may continue…”

“No, I’ve finished looking.” Kael said, “This is clearly just a normal barn, having nothing to do with Godric Gryffindor.”

This time Grindelwald did not even pause, leaving without turning back.
