Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 984: Chapter 764: Six Consecutive Championships

”Have you heard? Malfoy has been taken away!”

In Gryffindor’s common room, Harry burst through the door, looking as if he had discovered a treasure, and excitedly found Hermione and Ron, who were doing homework.

”What did you say?” The two of them simultaneously looked up and asked.

”Malfoy was taken from school; he withdrew.” Harry repeated. ”I just saw the Slytherin team, they’re picking a new Seeker.”

”That’s impossible.” Hermione lowered her head again, flipping through the ”Advanced Transfiguration Guide” beside her, and said, ”Why would Malfoy drop out? It doesn’t make sense.”

”Isn’t it obvious? He must have been caught doing those things.”

Ron looked just as excited as Harry, ”I suspected it before, why could Death Eaters sneak into the school quietly? Someone must be helping them, and that person is likely Malfoy!”

Harry was mentally cheering for Ron.

Because he had promised Dumbledore, he couldn’t tell anyone what happened in the tower before, but he hadn’t expected Ron to guess it.

”Yeah, I think so too.” Harry said firmly, ”Now the school is ready to settle accounts after the autumn harvest, and he had to run. I should have told the professors earlier to keep an eye on Malfoy.”

”It’s alright, at least we don’t have to see him anymore.” Ron said happily, ”I can hardly imagine how amazing Hogwarts would be without Malfoy.”

”Is that so?”

Hermione still had some doubts, but seeing Harry and Ron behaving like they were celebrating Christmas early, she didn’t say anything more.

Whether Malfoy let the Death Eaters into the school wasn’t something they should be worrying about.

At school, Malfoy’s departure didn’t attract much attention at Hogwarts, because he wasn’t the only one who did it.

Ever since the incident of the Death Eaters breaking into Hogwarts leaked, many parents came to take their kids home.

Even Hufflepuff had such a person, it was Quidditch match commentator Zacharias Smith, who left the castle during breakfast with his pompous father.

The professors didn’t stop them regarding this.

They had too much to do recently, not only to strengthen the castle’s defenses but also to patrol around Hogsmeade, preparing for the upcoming exams, without stopping since opening their eyes every day.

So for those parents who didn’t trust the school, they could only choose to respect their decision.

Of course, there were also some students who were more determined, and they persuaded their parents to stay in school.

”Only idiots would leave school at this time.”

When Zacharias Smith and his father passed through the hall, Macmillan, who was eating, suddenly said loudly, ”Those arrogant fools, they wouldn’t think there’s a place safer than Hogwarts outside!”

Zacharias Smith was the only Hufflepuff student to leave school.

And half an hour ago, Macmillan was still chatting with Gryffindor’s Seamus, confidently declaring that no one would leave school in Hufflepuff.

Now this situation was undoubtedly a slap in the face, and it was a loud one, so naturally, Macmillan wouldn’t be happy.

But the father and son outside seemed not to have heard anything and still strode past.

Unlike the gnashing Macmillan, Harry and Ron nearly jumped up from joy.

First Malfoy, now their most hated Quidditch commentator Zacharias also left the school, it was simply double happiness.

Harry even began to thank the Death Eaters inwardly, after this incident, it seemed all the bad influences in the school disappeared at once.

The only pity was the upcoming end-of-term.

”If next term remains like this, it would be great.” Harry inwardly hoped.

...

Seemingly matching his mood, the weather in June was bright and sunny, unbelievably good, even the wind blowing in carried a faint fragrance.

Harry and Ron would lean on the window from time to time, enjoying the breeze and flipping through books, preparing for the upcoming exams.

Until Hermione told them that the scent was from Moonstruck Beast fertilizer after fermentation, they two just closed the window with pale faces.

”Hermione, you should have told us earlier!” Ron grumbled.

”If you two paid more attention during Herbology class, I wouldn’t need to remind you!” Hermione said without looking up.

Harry’s good mood lasted until the first weekend of June.

The day was Quidditch match day, Hufflepuff versus Ravenclaw, also the Quidditch final.

Half a month ago, they just finished the last match, the opponent was also Ravenclaw. Although Harry, as Seeker, was missing, they still won with Ginny’s excellent performance and ranked first with a total of six hundred and sixty points.

While second-place Hufflepuff had five hundred points.

In other words, if Hufflepuff couldn’t get one hundred and sixty points in this match, they would win the first Quidditch Cup in ten years.

Early in the morning, almost all of Gryffindor arrived at the pitch, waiting for the match to start.

Professor McGonagall also came; when people saw her on the stand, they found it incredible, after all, she hadn’t come to watch Gryffindor’s match half a month ago, but came today.
