Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 974: Chapter 760: The Illuminated Tower_3

He not only knows but has also seen the consequences of such actions.

In his first year, at the place where the Philosopher’s Stone was stored on the fourth floor, Quirrell used the Fiendfyre Curse in the end, attempting to take everyone down with him, but he was the first to fall victim to it.

The uncontrollable Fiendfyre consumed him first.

Oh, Kael was also there at the time.

But unlike that time, the Fiendfyre Kael released seemed to have its own consciousness, he noticed just now that those flames couldn’t approach within a foot of Kael, and the area where he stood was the cleanest.

Hearing the conversation between the two, Bill, who was walking at the front, twitched his mouth.

As expected, everything just now was Kael’s doing.

The group left the tower.

The corridor, illuminated by dim lights, was full of dust, and many people were waiting here.

Professor McGonagall, Sirius, Lupin...

Several Death Eaters were securely bound and casually thrown into an empty classroom with a blown-off door, Charlie was watching over them.

”Albus...”

”How did it go, Dumbledore...”

Seeing Dumbledore come out of the tower, they immediately gathered around him.

”It’s nothing, it’s all been resolved.” Dumbledore’s voice was somewhat dry, his gaze flicked to Kael for a moment and quickly returned to Professor McGonagall.

”How’s the school?”

”It’s all resolved.” Professor McGonagall said,

”Altogether six Death Eaters, all here.”

”Additionally, we also found the Vanishing Cabinet hidden in the storeroom, Pomona has wrapped it with Devil’s Snare, it can’t be opened from the inside.”

”That’s good.” Dumbledore said, ”What about the students?”

”All safe.” Professor McGonagall said, ”Most of the students are in the common room, watched over by professors, they are very safe. Except for...”

Professor McGonagall glanced at Kael and Harry, the meaning was implicit.

”No problem.” Dumbledore said, ”Please go now and gather the students in the auditorium, I have some announcements to make.”

”Alright.” Professor McGonagall said and hurried away.

Dumbledore also led the others to the entrance hall.

Just as they got down the stairs, a huge figure ran over hurriedly,

”Thank God, Headmaster Dumbledore, you’re here.”

”Hagrid, is there something?” Dumbledore asked.

”Oren, I saw him.” Hagrid roared, ”That traitor was just in the school, I tried to catch him, but that cunning fellow escaped, he even took someone...”

”Not took, but rescued.” Dumbledore’s voice turned somewhat weary, ”It was Antonin Dolohov, also a Death Eater.”

”What, a Death Eater?” Hagrid was suddenly enlightened.

No wonder, when he was chasing Oren earlier, that person cast a Charm at him.

”Did you catch him?” Kael asked.

”No.” Hagrid shook his head, ”He was too fast.”

”Indeed, he’s quite skilled at escaping.” Kael sighed.

A few years ago, Oren escaped amidst a group of Beaters, and after all this time, he still hasn’t been caught.

After a few minutes, students started coming over.

At the same time, people from the Ministry of Magic also arrived, led by Mr. Weasley, Fudge, and Scrimgeour hurriedly walked through the castle gates, and upon seeing Dumbledore, they immediately came over.

”Hagrid.” Harry sneaked over and asked, ”Who is this Oren you mentioned.”

”A vile traitor and a Dark Wizard.” Hagrid said through gritted teeth, ”He was once also a Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, just a year before you came to the school.”

”What?” Harry’s eyes widened. He truly didn’t expect that inconspicuous Death Eater to have such an identity.

The year before he enrolled, was Kael’s first year; no wonder he knew the person.

”What did this person do?” Harry asked curiously.

Speaking of this, Hagrid became even more furious.

”He tried to steal a Unicorn foal in the Forbidden Forest, and wanted to kill Kael.”

Among the Defense Against the Dark Arts professors in recent years, Hagrid despised Oren the most, even more than Umbridge.

Because no matter what, Umbridge never tried to kill a student.

Harry listened beside him, occasionally glancing at Kael; he didn’t expect so many things to have happened at Hogwarts before he enrolled.

This Oren was practically another Quirrell.

It must be said, Dumbledore’s choice in selecting professors for the Defense Against the Dark Arts class truly was not great.
