Unrivaled Miracle Doctor: The God-Defying Demonic Consort

Chapter 768: Chapter 203: Lord’s Ruthless Removal of Rotten Peach Blossoms (Part 3)

”Who are you calling sister?” Mu Qingge’s eyes narrowed dangerously, the cold gleam in her eye slits full of sarcasm.

She admitted she was much younger than this Vassal Lord Yan Ya, but... who gave her the guts to call the Princess sister? Was she just blatantly, openly revealing her intentions in front of her?

”Forgive me, Princess!” Yan Ya also realized she had misspoken and quickly knelt on the ground, showing a frightened appearance.

She didn’t know what got into her, perhaps she was provoked by Mu Qingge’s words and wanted to gain an upper hand, so she spoke like this.

Mu Qingge sneered inwardly, ”Forgive? Forgive what sin?”

”I... I...” Yan Ya tried to calm herself down, looked up at Mu Qingge again, and showed an elegantly perfect smile, ”Perhaps the Princess misunderstood me. Calling you sister was indeed disrespectful of me. However, in my heart, I was thinking that the Princess is new to the Taixuan Ancient Palace and unfamiliar with everything here. Although I’m just a Vassal Lord, I have been to the Taixuan Ancient Palace a few times and have always lived in the Royal Capital, so I’m more familiar with everything here than the Princess. Moreover, I’m older than the Princess, and if the Princess doesn’t mind, perhaps we can address each other as sisters?”

Mu Qingge’s lips curled into an amused smile, her gaze towards Yan Ya full of mockery. ’First build a connection, get close, and gain trust, then steal her man? Does her face have the word ”fool” written on it? Or does she think she’s just a naïve little flower?’

Suddenly, Mu Qingge was very interested in seeing Yan Ya continue her performance.

She said to Gu Ya and Gu Ye, ”You both may leave now, Yan Ya and I have some private sisterly matters to discuss.”

Gu Ya and Gu Ye felt a bit uneasy, worried that Mu Qingge might be harmed.

But then they thought, was Mu Qingge someone who could be easily hurt? Not being hurt by her would be more likely!

So, the two of them withdrew and left the hall but did not go far, quietly keeping guard outside.

With Yan Ya’s cultivation, she certainly couldn’t detect the two guarding outside.

Seeing Gu Ya and Gu Ye leave and recalling Mu Qingge’s words just now, Yan Ya showed a victorious smile. Before Mu Qingge could speak, she stood up from the ground.

Mu Qingge coldly watched her actions, her smile unchanged, and offered no warning.

Her ’indulgence’ made Yan Ya more audacious.

She thought to herself, earlier in the great hall, this woman seemed formidable, but it seemed it was all due to Gu Ya and Gu Ye’s instructions and teachings.

Now, without those two, wasn’t she easily won over with just a few words, beginning to trust her?

Mu Qingge didn’t miss the fleeting victorious smile at the corner of Yan Ya’s mouth, while the smile on her own lips gradually deepened. Unfortunately, Yan Ya couldn’t understand what she was smiling about.

”There’s no need for formality from Vassal Lord Yan Ya, please have a seat,” Mu Qingge pointed casually.

Yan Ya wasn’t courteous either, directly walking to the chair nearest Mu Qingge and sat down gracefully.

As soon as she sat, a maidservant immediately brought tea over.

Yan Ya sat upright, her gaze inadvertently falling on Mu Qingge’s flat abdomen, a hint of hidden resentment flashing deep in her eyes.

”Princess sister, don’t take offense. I just thought a lady like you in the Taixuan Ancient Palace, with child, might feel bored, so I came over to chat,” Yan Ya said.

”Vassal Lord Yan Ya is very considerate,” Mu Qingge replied casually.

Yan Ya smiled, her gaze falling on Mu Qingge’s abdomen, concernedly asking, ”Is the child being well-behaved?”

Mu Qingge’s gaze followed her own, falling on her flat abdomen. She smiled slightly, lifted her hand to gently cover it, and looked up at Yan Ya, saying, ”Very well-behaved.” Well-behaved, my foot! There wasn’t anything there, to begin with!

There was a touch of tenderness in Mu Qingge’s smile.

In Yan Ya’s eyes, it looked like the joy of a new mother.

This made it particularly galling for her to see.

Yan Ya forced a smile, saying to Mu Qingge, ”As long as it’s well-behaved. If it’s a naughty child, the Princess sister would have to suffer along.”

”Vassal Lord Yan Ya seems to have much experience in this matter,” Mu Qingge raised a brow and looked at her, speaking with a hint of a smile.

Yan Ya’s smile froze for a moment, sheepishly replying, ”Princess sister jests, I’m still unmarried, how could I have any experience in this matter.”

”Ah! I see, I misunderstood,” Mu Qingge said with sudden realization. ”Seeing that Vassal Lord Yan Ya is not young and seems knowledgeable on the matter, I thought you must be a mother of several children.”

’What does she mean? Is she calling me old?!’ Yan Ya screamed inwardly, yet had to wear a smile and said to Mu Qingge, ”Princess sister jests, though I’m a few years older than you, I’m still considered young in the Demon Realm at my age.”

’Only a few years? Shameless!’ Mu Qingge sneered inwardly but nodded outwardly, saying to Yan Ya, ”Vassal Lord Yan Ya is both beautiful and of high status, why haven’t you found a good match yet? Are you waiting for someone?”

Yan Ya’s heart skipped a beat, sneaking a look at Mu Qingge, only to find her gaze frank and bright.

She didn’t know if Mu Qingge suddenly asked this because she had heard something or if it was just a casual inquiry. But whatever the reason, it was a good opportunity for her.

”To be honest with the Princess sister, indeed someone has occupied my heart for a long time, and besides him, I want no one else,” Yan Ya said, tucking a stray hair behind her ear.

”Oh? Who is it that has captured Vassal Lord Yan Ya’s favor? Why not say it, and I’ll act as your advocate?” Mu Qingge smiled warmly.

However, in reality, only those familiar with her could notice that beneath her smiling and sincere eyes lay a cold, fierce edge.

”This...” Yan Ya appeared bashful, wanting to speak yet hesitating.

”Why won’t Vassal Lord Yan Ya say? Could it be that the person in your heart is His Majesty?” Mu Qingge joked as if she were teasing.

Yan Ya’s heart skipped a beat; she looked up at Mu Qingge.

She deliberately showed a surprised expression, believing that anyone could guess her true thoughts.

Sure enough, Mu Qingge’s next words gave her a bit of satisfaction.

”So the person in Vassal Lord Yan Ya’s heart is indeed His Majesty!” Mu Qingge said, slightly surprised but then understanding, ”Well, with His Majesty’s looks, it’s hard to find a woman in this world who doesn’t admire him.”

She twisted Yan Ya’s desired outcome into a harmless sentiment.

This was not what Yan Ya wanted.

She showed a moment of embarrassment on her face, biting her lip, she said, ”Princess sister, actually... my sentiments with His Majesty began a long time ago. At that time, perhaps His Majesty didn’t even know of you.”

Mu Qingge raised her eyebrows, a faint smile curling at the corners of her mouth.

Outside the hall, Gu Ya and Gu Ye were eavesdropping on the goings-on inside. Hearing Yan Ya speak like that, Gu Ya couldn’t help but say, ”She’s talking nonsense! When has Your Majesty ever had feelings for her? Your Majesty has never even looked her way!”

Saying this, he was about to rush in.

However, he was grabbed by Gu Ye, who said to him, ”Do you think the little Lord will believe what she says?”

Gu Ya frowned and muttered, ”With the little Lord’s intelligence, he naturally won’t be incited by her. But even though it’s fake, it’s still infuriating to hear.”

”The little Lord will deal with her. We can just watch the show from here,” Gu Ye advised.

Gu Ya was taken aback and nodded in agreement, ”Her little tricks are really weak. The little Lord can easily make her submit with just a slight show of skill.”

Mu Qingge’s silence prompted Yan Ya to continue, ”Now that Your Majesty is not here, I should naturally take care of the Princess sister for him, so you won’t be wronged. While you stay here in the Taixuan Ancient Palace, if there is any lack of service or anything else, don’t hesitate to tell me directly.”

Mu Qingge’s smile at the corner of her mouth became more pronounced.

In her heart, she thought, ’Si Mo, oh Si Mo, you’re nowhere to be found, yet I have to deal with these messy romances for you.’

Does a Princess need the care of a Vassal Lord?

With what right?

Does she deserve it?

Is she qualified?

Mu Qingge looked at Yan Ya with a bright smile, ignoring her reverse-host behavior, and instead curiously said, ”Since Your Majesty and Vassal Lord Yan Ya have so much affection, why am I here?”

Yan Ya’s expression froze, stunned on the spot.

Mu Qingge smiled with her eyes slightly bent, ”Vassal Lord Yan Ya has such deep feelings for Your Majesty, but I’ve never heard Your Majesty mention anything about Vassal Lord Yan Ya. Alas, it seems Your Majesty is also a heartless person!”

”Princess sister, you shouldn’t speak of Your Majesty like that.” Yan Ya suddenly stood up, looking seriously at Mu Qingge.

Mu Qingge raised her eyes, looking at her innocently, the ambiguous smile on her lips causing Yan Ya to suddenly feel inexplicably flustered.

Yan Ya forced a smile, awkwardly sat down, and explained, ”Princess sister, don’t take it to heart. I was just a bit anxious in the moment. In my eyes, Your Majesty is perfect and impeccable, with no room for anyone to say half a bad word.”

’Pretending to be infatuated?’ Mu Qingge sneered internally.

She calmly replied, ”Oh, so Vassal Lord Yan Ya is so deeply in love with Your Majesty. It really touches me.”

”Princess sister, you’re joking.” Yan Ya lowered her eyes shyly.

This scene gave Gu Ya and Gu Ye goosebumps.

Gu Ya rubbed his arm, confusedly looked at Gu Ye, and asked, ”What game is the little Lord trying to play? I can’t make heads or tails of it.”

”The little Lord’s thoughts have always been hard to fathom. On the contrary, I’m curious about why Vassal Lord Yan Ya came here,” Gu Ye squinted his eyes.

Gu Ya was puzzled, ”What else could it be, if not just trying to deliberately provoke the little Lord and sow discord?”

Gu Ye shook his head, ”I’m afraid it’s not that simple.”

”Then what else?” Gu Ya asked, bewildered.

Unfortunately, Gu Ye shook his head and said to him, ”Keep watching, and you’ll see.”

The two continued to maintain a spectator mentality, peeping from outside.

Inside the hall, Mu Qingge looked at Yan Ya’s shy demeanor and suddenly said, ”Vassal Lord Yan Ya’s infatuation with Your Majesty even moves me. How about this? When Your Majesty returns, I’ll personally tell him to welcome Vassal Lord Yan Ya into the Taixuan Ancient Palace, how about that?”

”Ah!”

Yan Ya looked at Mu Qingge in shock.

To Yan Ya, her words were like ’happiness came too suddenly’!

She even couldn’t believe her ears and asked again, ”What did sister say?”

Mu Qingge raised her eyebrows, internally thinking, ’So eager to drop even the term ”Princess”. Well, those two words were always reluctant from the start, weren’t they?’

”I said, Vassal Lord Yan Ya’s deep affection for Your Majesty is truly moving. Your Majesty is busy with affairs of state and indeed needs someone to take care of him. Now that I’m pregnant, my energy is limited. Having Vassal Lord Yan Ya serve him will also give me some peace of mind. But it might aggrieve Vassal Lord Yan Ya, for entering the Taixuan Ancient Palace, she can only have the position of a Concubine.” Mu Qingge said slowly.

Yan Ya secretly bit her lip; Mu Qingge’s words practically filled her with joy.

As for the position of Concubine... Yan Ya sneered internally. ’Who knows who would be the main wife and who the concubine? Isn’t it just that you’re holding onto your title of Princess by relying on the baby in your belly now? If Your Majesty finds out that you can’t even keep the child, how disappointed he would be? Without the leverage of the child, what can you compete with me for?’

A cold glint flashed in Yan Ya’s eyes.

”Is sister speaking from the heart?” Yan Ya stood up, looking at Mu Qingge with shyness in her eyes.

She then explained, ”Sister, don’t misunderstand. I’ve never intended to compete with you for anything. My admiration for Your Majesty has always been kept in my heart. As long as Your Majesty and sister are happy, I am also happy. So sister, don’t pity me and wrong yourself; that would make me feel guilty in my heart.”

’What a sanctimonious act!’ Mu Qingge internally praised.

Though she was emotionally obtuse, she could distinguish what was a white lotus and what was a green tea.

Right now, swaying before her, was none other than a green tea bitch, wasn’t it?

”Vassal Lord Yan Ya, you’re overthinking it. What I said is, of course, sincere. Your Majesty rules the entire Taixuan Demon Realm; his harem shouldn’t be cold and desolate, should it?” Mu Qingge squinted and smiled.

Outside the hall, Gu Ya and Gu Ye felt a chill run down their spines as if a cold wind swept through their backs, making their bodies shiver with cold.

”Why do I feel like the little Lord is digging a pit?” Gu Ya muttered, looking at Gu Ye.

Gu Ye nodded seriously, saying to him, ”Believe me, you’re not the only one with that feeling.”

The two quietly lit a candle in their hearts.

The little Lord was digging a pit, and it was so deep that no one could get out once they fell into it. The most frightening thing was, the person waiting to be trapped had not the slightest awareness and was coaxed into joy by the little Lord with a few words...
