Ferocious Boss: Hubby, Let’s Get Married

Chapter 783: I Beat Him Up, Why Didn’t You Look for Me?

“This was probably not such a big issue in the first place though, it’s just that…” Yue Tingfeng said, smiling. “Young Ye has some interesting tastes. He’s probably going to be labeled as a criminal, and his sentence… It’s not going to be a light one. Mr. Ye, you should be more concerned about this, shouldn’t you?, the problems involving your own son are the most important!”

Mrs. Yue raised a hand, stopping Yue Tingfeng. “Don’t say anything you please during this occasion. Mr. Ye is grieving. Why are you prying on his wounds?”

She turned her head towards Mr. Ye. “Still, please don’t grieve too much, Mr. Ye. I heard that young Ye had to be carried out of the hotel that day. So pitiful! How is he now? Is he better?

“By the way, how much drug did he eat, exactly? An overdose is asking for too much trouble! What if he never recovers properly after this incident? How tragic! After all… young Ye doesn’t have children yet. If he really never recovers, then doesn’t that mean he can never bear children? How terrible! If his life is going to be like that, how is it worth living then?”

The muscles on Ye Jiangong’s face spasmed continuously. The most sensitive topic for him right now was his son’s inability to reproduce anymore, and the fact that he could not produce heirs in the future.

However, Yue Tingfeng and Mrs. Yue prodded at where it hurt most. The two really wanted to stoke the fire that flamed inside him.

Ye Jiangong’s composure was nearly thrown off balance. “That brat shamed the entire Ye family with what he did, but he is still my son,” he said, barely reining his anger in. “I still don’t understand some circumstances to this day. Since I’ve coincidentally met you, Miss Yan, let me ask you something. I hope you can answer me honestly. Two days ago, you got into an argument with my impulsive son at the club. I don’t know how my son has offended you, Miss Yan.

“Unless it’s because he said something… that you and You Yi were seeing each other? Then he got beaten up badly because of that? Miss Yan, if you were innocent, then there was no need to stoop to his level. Unless you were embarrassed…”

In conclusion, all his words revolved around one message, You are having an affair with You Yi. You were embarrassed, so you beat my son up.

Yan Qingsi smiled. This Ye Jiangong had done his research before looking for trouble.

“You’re funny, Mr. Ye. Just because I’m innocent doesn’t mean I tolerate being falsely accused of something. Don’t think that just because you’re older means you can hold your years over me and preach your moralities and chide me. So what if I beat him? Ye Shaoguang was the one who saved his face and his neck. If I had known that his father wouldn’t apologize to me when he saw me, and would put on such pompous airs and judge me, then I should have allowed his neck to be broken that day. Perhaps I would have prevented him from going out at night and into an orgy. Then he wouldn’t be in the hospital now.”

Ye Jiangong trembled with rage. “You…”

“Mr. Ye, I’ve always seen you as a dignified person,” Mrs. Yue interrupted him, expression stony. “Yet once words pour out of your mouth it’s as though they came from a sewer. If you never mentioned this, I would have never known that your son bullied my future daughter-in-law. You better give me a satisfactory explanation. Do you think that we the Yue’s are so easy to bully?”

Mrs. Yue pinched Yue Tingfeng. “You too. Your future wife is being bullied, and you didn’t say a word…”

Yue Tingfeng gave a mirthless smile. “Mom, in a while, I’ll go to the hospital to visit… young master Ye! Since I know who the instigator really is, I can’t let him off the hook so easily.”

Ye Jiangong clenched his teeth. “Hmph. You Yue’s throw your weight about like nobody’s business. Mark my words, I won’t let you off the hook so easily.”

“I beat him up,” an icy voice rang out suddenly. “Why didn’t you look for me?”
