The lady officer nodded, “Ok, that’s it.”

Xu Qianxi was fighting and screaming when she was taken away.

The officers were being extra cautious because Xu Qianxi claimed that she was actually drugged. They have examined all the containers of water in her room carefully.

But the results were negative. Xu Qianxi was probably trying to get away with a lower sentence by making false claims.

“It that is the case, there is no need for further investigation.”

…

At the same time, a car was making its way out of the Jing City. It stopped at the petrol station to refuel.

Yan Qingsi was sleeping soundly under a blanket at the passenger seat.

Yue Tingfeng asked, “Why did you want to leave in my car? Were you thinking that I can be trusted?”

Yan Qingsi was knackered. Her eyes remained shut when she replied lazily, “I was going for the free ride.”

Yue Tingfeng…

“Ok, I got it!”

Yan Qingsi thought of something and jumped up in her seat. She drew her phone out of her pocket and was busy scrolling away.

She almost forgot to check out the news on the internet. The social media would be shaken by the news of Xu Qianxi prostituting herself.

The scandal was all over Weibo as what she thought.

In this era with modern technologies, news travels like the speed of light. Especially bad news. It spreads like wildfire. The first few photos exposed were taken by onlookers. Things got out of hand very quickly and the hashtag of Xu Qianxi got caught was immediately the top of the search engine.

Xu Qianxi’s agency responded immediately that it was just rumours. It was all an act of defamation and that Xu Qianxi was actually filming at that time. The agency swore to get to the bottom of the incident and crack down whoever that is behind it to defend their artist.

Xu Qianxi’s fans club also came to her rescue. The fans turned into keyboard warriors and were fighting with all the mean commentators. They believed that the photos were photoshopped. They were certain that the name of their idol was tainted on purpose and demanded for apology.

However, there were way too many people that uploaded the photos onto Weibo. And these people were not deleting their post even demanded by the fans.

The incidents of Xu Qianxi was the top trending news but many were still not convinced.

It was half an hour later when multiple media companies reported that — ‘A famous artist was involved in the prostitute business. The incident happened today, on the 10th of April at 2245 in XX Hotel. She was caught in the act along with four men.’

It must be true since so many media companies reported the same thing. The incident of Xu Qianxi being caught climbed to the top search result of the search engines in a blink of an eye.

Xu Qianxi’s fans started to panic. Photos exposed by the big media companies were clear. The naked body of Xu Qianxi was censored but her face was could be seen clearly.

Even then, some of Xu Qianxi’s die hard fans still stood by her and claimed that it was defintely not their idol in those photos.

Not long after that, the third wave of frenziness came. It was not just an ordinary account. It was the official account of ‘Peaceful Jing City’. An official statement was written– ‘Miss Xu, Female, Actress, was detained by the police at around 2200 on the 10th of April for involvement in prostitution.’

Yan Qingsi smiled slyly at the sight of the official statement.

Take that! That is what you get for framing me.
