Reborn As Noble

Gloria let out another soft chuckle, her eyes drifting toward Javier, who was now kissing Gracelle. She nudged Liana with her elbow.

”Ara ara~ Look at that, Liana. Our Young Master is moving on to his next target. One kiss isn’t enough for him. He wants more. And he’s already reaching for his trunks~”

Liana glanced toward Javier. Her eyes narrowed instantly.

Javier had both hands on his trunks, his fingers hooked on the waistband, ready to pull them down. Gracelle was lying beneath him on the cushion, her cheeks flushed, her breath quick and shallow, her eyes half-lidded with anticipation.

Liana vanished from where she stood.

She reappeared beside them in an instant, her spatula raised. She brought it down on Javier’s arm with a sharp smack.

”Ow!” Javier winced, jerking his hand away from his trunks. He pursed his lips and narrowed his eyes at Liana, who stood over him with one hand still raised, the other resting on her hip.

Gracelle, who had been lying beneath him moments before, sat up quickly and adjusted her position, her cheeks burning bright red.

Liana glared hard at Javier, her voice sharp and scolding.

”Young Master! Control your libido! We are on a beach in broad daylight! In front of everyone! And you think it’s appropriate to start having sex with Gracelle and Delya right here in the open like this?”

Javier mumbled under his breath, rubbing his arm.

”I was about to activate a wall skill so no one could see... it would have been private...”

”No means no, Young Master!” Liana smacked his arm again with the spatula, her scary glare intensifying. She pointed toward where Celine and Lyzia were still sleeping, leaning against each other.

”You should spend some time with Celine too! She’s your new future wife! Your new addition to our family! And yet you never spend any time with her! You’ve barely spoken to her since she arrived! Do you only want to play with her feelings? Are you going to leave her alone after bringing her here? Is that the kind of man you are?”

Javier twirled his finger nervously, his eyes darting away.

”I... I wasn’t going to ignore her...”

Liana cut him off, her voice dropping into a low growl.

”The Young Master I know is someone who cares about everyone. Especially his girls. He would never neglect any of them. He would never make any of them feel unwanted. He would never make any of them feel like they were just an afterthought. So act like the Young Master I know. Act like the man who earned their trust. Act like the man they chose to love.”

She turned her glare toward Gracelle and Delya, her eyes sharp and terrifying.

”And you two. You’ve already had your moment with Young Master. All night long. You both were barely able to walk this morning. Some of you even complained about being too tired to continue, asking him to stop, because you couldn’t take any more. And now you want to go again? In the open? In front of everyone?”

She crossed her arms, her voice cold. ”Go help Gloria set up everything. Now.”

Gracelle flinched and scrambled to her feet. Delya rose slowly, her dreamy smile fading into something sheepish as she followed after Gracelle.

Liana turned her glare back to Javier, who was still twirling his finger and avoiding her eyes. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ

”Now go to Celine. Spend time with her. Talk to her. Get to know her. And don’t you dare try anything until she’s ready.”

Javier let out a defeated sigh, dropping his hand.

”...Yes, Liana.”

Felicia, who had been chasing Mimi across the sand, skidded to a stop mid-run. Mimi also halted, her ears flicking, her tail shooting straight up as she glanced back. Both of them looked toward the gathering area and spotted Liana standing there with her spatula still in hand, her glare fixed on Javier.

Felicia swallowed hard. Mimi’s tail curled nervously behind her.

”We... we should go back to them. Before Big Sister Liana gets mad at us too.”

”N... nya... yeah...”

Mimi scratched her cheek, her tail twitching nervously, and followed Felicia from behind, both of them walking back with the cautious steps of two children who knew they’d been caught misbehaving.

Javier rose from his seat, a warm smile spreading across his face. He looked at Liana.

”What?” Liana asked flatly.

He puckered his lips, both arms spread wide, asking for a hug and a kiss, the usual gesture he always made when he wanted affection from her.

Liana let out a soft exhale. She stepped around the cushions and stopped directly in front of him. Javier leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to her lips. He pulled back and smiled.

”Sorry.”

Liana looked up at him, her expression softening slightly. She mumbled under her breath, her voice quiet.

”You better not do that again. I don’t want my future husband to be the kind of man who takes what he wants and then leaves the rest behind. That’s not who you are.”

Javier smiled softly, his gaze meeting hers. He reached up and gently cupped her cheek, his thumb brushing lightly against her skin.

”I know... I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to neglect Celine. I was the one who brought her here. I know I have responsibilities to her. To all of you. It’s just... there’s been so much happening lately. The mission, the Abyssal Seven, the upcoming invasion. And I...”

He paused, his voice trailing off as he searched for the right words.

”I guess I got lost in everything else. But that’s not an excuse. I should have made time for her. I should have made her feel like she belongs here. Like she’s wanted. Not just another name on a list.”

Liana let out a soft exhale. She stepped closer, pressing her face against his chest, her hands resting lightly on his hips. She nuzzled against him, her voice muffled but clear.

”I want you to be fair to all your girls. I know you have so much love to give. I know you dreamed of building a harem where everyone feels cherished. Where no one feels left out. Where everyone knows they’re loved. That’s the man I fell in love with. That’s the man I chose. I want you to be that man. Not just for me. For all of them.”

Javier wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. He rested his chin on top of her head and closed his eyes.

”Okay... I promise, Liana. I will do my best to be the man you believe I can be. The man who loves all his girls equally. The man who makes sure none of them ever feel forgotten.”

Liana pulled back slightly, tilting her head up to meet his eyes. She reached up and gently caressed his cheek, her thumb tracing the line of his jaw. She smiled softly.

”Now go to Celine. Spend time with her. Get to know her. Just remember, no sex with her before she’s ready. I don’t want her to face any complications. Her body isn’t prepared for you yet.”

Javier chuckled, tilting his head.

”Not even a kiss? A little fondle?”

Liana narrowed her eyes at him.

”As long as it doesn’t go further until she’s ready.”

Behind them, Gloria smirked from where she stood by the grill. She nudged her glasses up, her voice carrying a teasing lilt.

”My, my~ What happened to all that talk about first love, no need for tricks, just being yourself? Look at you now~ Getting all soft and nuzzling against him like a lovesick maiden~”

Liana glared over her shoulder at Gloria, her eyes sharp. Gloria smirked back, nudging her glasses up with one hand while the other swayed a spare spatula she had picked up from the grill, waving it in a playful, teasing motion.

”Hush, Gloria. You’ll have your moment with him later.”

Gloria chuckled softly, turning back toward the grill.

”I’m sure I will~”
