Reborn As Noble

Liana and Gloria’s auras flared simultaneously, a soft, dangerous glow radiating from their bodies. Their grips on Buddy’s tail feathers tightened. Buddy’s eyes narrowed toward them, his body tensing as he prepared to yank himself free. But before he could move, Liana reached down and plucked a single feather from his tail, holding it up between her fingers.

”C... Cuquawked!” (O... Oi! My tail!!!)

Gloria nudged her glasses up, tilting her head with a sweet, terrifying smile.

”Buuudddyyyyy~ We asked about between me and Liana. Not you.”

Buddy glanced at Gloria, then at Liana, then back at Gloria. He puffed his chest out, his posture turning proud and defiant as he let out a series of confident squawks.

”Cuquawked~ Cuquawked~ Cuquawked~” (No. You two asked about who Master’s favorite is. Of course it’s me. We go to the deep forest, and the first thing in the morning he does is find me and feed me expensive, high-quality food. Every time I ask for meat, he grills it for me~ And of course I listen to him~ That makes me the most favorite among all~)

Gloria glanced up at Buddy as he squawked in front of them, his head gesturing with each sound, pulling back and thrusting forward, glancing at them with a playful, mocking tilt.

She turned to Liana, her brow furrowing. ”What is he saying?”

Liana sighed, her voice calm but tinged with annoyance.

”Buddy was talking about why he is Young Master’s favorite among us. He’s bragging about how Young Master feeds him first thing in the morning, grills him meat whenever he asks, and how he listens to Young Master.”

Gloria’s smile turned sharper. ”Arara? Really~? Hmm?~”

Before Buddy could react, Gloria reached out and plucked another gleaming orange feather from his tail.

Buddy flinched, his entire body jerking as he tried to pull away, flapping his wings desperately. But both women held him firmly by his tail.

Another feather floated to the sand.

Then another.

Buddy’s head whipped around, his eyes wide with panic as he squawked loudly.

”Cuquawked!!!!” (Master, help! These two girls are plucking my tail!! Eeeekkk!!)

Liana and Gloria were fully invested now, plucking Buddy’s tail feathers one by one, taking turns gripping and pulling, each feather floating gently to the sand. Buddy squawked in panic, his body jerking with each pluck.

”This is for all the trouble you’ve caused,” Liana mumbled, plucking another feather.

”This is for the chaos and that fart from earlier,” Gloria added, yanking another one.

”Cuquawked! Cuquawked!” (Stop! My beautiful tail!)

They both paused mid-pluck. Gloria nudged her glasses up, her hand still firmly gripping Buddy’s tail as she glanced at Liana.

”What is this big orange menace squawking about?”

Liana smirked, narrowing her eyes as she glanced at Gloria. ”Buddy said I’m Young Master’s favorite girl.”

Buddy’s head whipped around, his neck stretching back as he squawked in loud protest.

”Cuquawked!” (I didn’t say that! Don’t get me involved in your problem! I’m just an innocent pekko! I can’t understand humans at all!)

Gloria gritted her teeth before her lips curled into a dark grin.

”Arara~ You side with Liana~? Hmm?”

She began plucking faster, her fingers moving in quick, efficient motions. Buddy’s eyes widened in pain and panic as more feathers drifted to the sand.

Buddy narrowed his eyes, a low, rumbling squawk building in his throat.

”Cuquawkeddddddd~” (You two leave me no choice~)

He raised his rear, his body tensing as he let out a low, excited squawk.

”Cuquawked!” (Special Move! Rapid Fart!)

A long, thunderous toot erupted from Buddy, the sound carrying across the beach in a series of rapid, rhythmic bursts. The wind carried the foul air directly behind him, straight toward Liana and Gloria.

Buddy glanced back over his shoulder with a proud, satisfied squawk.

”Cuquawked~?” (Serves you right~ How does that feel? Orange~?)

Just as he turned his head, he noticed both Liana and Gloria already wearing gas masks, waving at him cheerfully. Their eyes curved into dangerous, gleaming crescents behind the glass lenses.

Buddy’s beak dropped open. His body went stiff.

Liana smiled sweetly behind her mask, her voice calm and melodic.

”Thank you, Buddy. That was very stress-relieving~”

Buddy let out a long, high-pitched squeak of pure terror.

”Cuquawkeddddd!!!”

While Liana and Gloria continued their feather-plucking revenge, thoroughly enjoying every squawk of protest from Buddy, Felicia quietly squatted down beside Javier. Her tail swayed gently behind her as she leaned over him, her brow furrowed with genuine worry.

She reached out and gently wiped the foamy bubble from the corner of his lips with her thumb, her touch soft and careful.

”Sorry for kicking you earlier, Husband...” she mumbled, her hand roaming across his muscular chest, her fingers tracing the contours of his abs and pecs with slow, appreciative touches.

Javier’s eyes fluttered open. He narrowed them toward Felicia, his lips pursing into a small pout as he mumbled in a low, sulky voice.

”I’m still hurt from all that kicking...”

Felicia smiled softly, lowering herself onto her knees on the sand. She rested her cheek against his chest, her eyes glinting with warmth and affection as her hands reached up to wrap gently around his neck.

”I didn’t kick you that hard. I was just playing along with Gloria, making it look real.” She nuzzled her cheek against his chest, her voice dropping into a soft, tender mumble. ”I would never hurt my handsome husband.”

Javier let out a dramatic groan, his face twisting in exaggerated pain. Both of his hands dropped to his crotch, cupping himself protectively.

”It still hurts...” he whimpered. ”Must be from the kicking earlier. I think one of my balls went back inside. It’s going to take years for it to drop back down...”

Felicia gave him a playful, narrow look, her lips curling into a knowing smirk.

”I would never kick you there, Husband. And neither would anyone else.” She tilted her head, her voice dropping into a soft, teasing tone.

”Big Sister Liana already warned all of us about that. She said if anyone ever damaged ’the family jewels,’ she would personally make sure they regret it for the rest of their lives.”
