Reborn As Noble

Buddy arrived at Liana’s side in a blur of motion, the massive rainbow fruit floating beside him. He set it down gently on the long table with a flick of his magic, the fruit’s seven-colored skin gleaming under the sunlight.

He wiggled his eyebrows at Liana, his beak curling into a proud smirk.

”Cuquawked~” (Here’s the fruit, my beautiful elf witch~)

Liana glanced at the huge fruit, her eyes narrowing slightly before she looked up at Buddy with a suspicious gaze.

”Where did you get this?”

”Cuquawked? Cuquawked~” (Huh? From Master’s dimensional storage, of course~)

Liana’s gaze shifted back to the fruit, studying its shimmering surface. Her voice was calm but curious.

”Since when did Young Master have this?” She placed both hands on her hips, her eyes narrowing further. ”Where did you two find this fruit? And when? Young Master never showed this to me. He never even mentioned it.”

”Cuquawked?” (How is that my problem?)

Liana narrowed her eyes further, crossing her arms under her breasts. Her voice dropped into a calm, dangerous tone.

”If you don’t tell me, I won’t be making any juice or fruit dessert with this fruit.”

Buddy flinched hard, his head snapping toward her. He moved his head close to Liana, staring at her for a long moment before pulling back and letting out a long, defeated exhale from his beak.

”Cuquawked... Cuquawked~” (Father told me about the delicious rainbow fruit growing in the deep forest near the Armand estate. So I told Master about it, and I insisted we go get some. I dragged him there myself and made him store a whole bunch in his dimensional storage for me.”

Liana’s eyes narrowed into a dangerous glare, her voice dropping into a low, threatening tone.

”You? Drag him? Young Master?”

Buddy flinched hard, pulling his head up and glancing down at her before turning his head away with a low, defeated squawk.

”Cuquawked... Cuquawked?” (Okay, fine. I begged him. Happy?)

Liana reached out and gently touched the rainbow fruit, her fingers caressing its shimmering surface. The fruit glowed softly under her touch, pulsing with a warm, gentle light. A soft smile spread across her lips.

”I’ll make a better fruit dessert and juice with this. Young Master is going to love it.”

Buddy snapped his head toward her, his eyes widening.

”Cuquawked!” (Oi! Me first! Me first!)

Liana chuckled softly, shaking her head.

”I still need some special herbs, honey, and a few other ingredients.” She glanced around, placing one finger on her chin while her other arm crossed under her breasts. ”But I don’t have any of them with me right now.”

Buddy smirked, puffing his chest out with pride.

”Cuquawked~ Cuquawked!” (I’ll go get it from Master! I’m sure he has a lot of stash! Last time I saw him taking out the glimmer golden spices!)

Liana glanced at him, her eyes widening slightly.

”Young Master... has a stash of the rarest elven herbs? Moonfall Dust? That’s served only for the elders...”

”Cuquawked~ Cuquawked~” (Moonfall~ Mouthful~ Same thing~ We pekkos don’t care about the name~)

Liana turned and walked away from Buddy, heading toward where Javier was. Buddy glanced at her retreating figure and let out an indignant squawk.

”Cuquawked!” (Oi! What about the juice!?)

Liana ignored him completely, her steps graceful and unhurried as she made her way across the beach. Buddy let out a long, defeated exhale before following behind her, his talons sinking into the sand with each step.

Liana tilted her head when she saw Gloria, Felicia, Delya, Gracelle, and Celine standing in a loose circle, all leaning down toward something on the ground. Mimi was poking at whatever it was with a thick branch, her other arm still hugging the seven picture books against her chest, her tail swaying with lazy enjoyment.

Hmm? I wonder what they’re doing?

Liana glanced around the area, her brow furrowing slightly.

I wonder where Young Master is?

Her eyes finally landed on the six Javier clones standing in a neat row, posing with six Delya clones who were still giggling and snapping photos with a mana phone.

Gloria noticed Liana approaching and turned, crossing her arms under her breasts with a smirk. She nudged her glasses up and tilted her head.

”Arara~ Here comes Young Master’s favorite girl~”

Liana stopped and glanced down at the ground. Her eyes widened as she saw Javier lying flat on the sand, his eyes rolled back, a small foamy bubble forming at the corner of his mouth. His body twitched occasionally.

Her expression turned serious, her voice dropping into a dangerous tone.

”What did you do to Young Master?”

Gloria’s smirk remained calm and composed. She nudged her glasses again, the motion making her huge breasts bounce visibly in front of Liana.

”This is all Buddy’s fault. He farted directly in Young Master’s face after we kicked him for groping Lyzia.”

Her smile widened, her aura turning dangerous as she leaned closer.

”Don’t try to change the subject, Liana~” Gloria pointed toward the six Javier clones and the six Delya clones posing together.

”How long have you known about them?”

Liana crossed her arms under her breasts, her expression calm and composed.

”You didn’t notice? Back when Young Master was still a kid. I believe around ten or eleven. Remember when you were appointed as the head of the household maids years ago? That was before you became Young Master’s personal maid.”

Gloria fell silent for a moment, her brow furrowing. She nudged her glasses up and tilted her head.

”Why did he never tell me? Or show me?”

Liana spoke in a casual, unhurried tone.

”Because you never asked. And by the time you were appointed as Young Master’s personal maid and were about to become his second harem, his cheeky and mischievous nature had softened. He became more focused, more serious, more responsible. I’m sure you remember.”

Gloria puffed her cheek, crossing her arms tightly under her breasts as she glanced away. Her voice carried a note of frustration.

”At least you should have told me. We’re cousins, aren’t we? We’ve been together with Young Master for so long. At least you shouldn’t have kept it a secret from me.”

Liana remained calm, her voice steady.

”It wasn’t even a secret. I just didn’t have the time to explain. Our Young Master has a lot of skills. Even as his first fiancée, and having been with him for so long, even I don’t know everything he keeps inside his dimensional storage. Beyond his massive wealth, gold, rare gems, runes, artifacts, the premium monster meats, the monster meat he’s been hunting since he was a kid, his puppet knights, his weapons, his new inventions... and more.”

She glanced at Gloria, her expression softening slightly.

”This shouldn’t even be a question, Gloria. As a future wife of Young Master, we should respect our husband’s privacy and trust his judgment. He shows us what he wants to show us when the time is right.”

Gloria puffed her cheek, her lips pursing into a small pout. She turned her head to the side with a huff, her voice dropping into a low mumble.

”I know... It’s just... I don’t want to be left behind.”
