Reborn As Noble

Javier paused, his elbows resting on the table as he clasped his hands together, his lips hidden behind his fingers. His eyes narrowed, calm and serious, as he studied them.

”So... you’re saying you have all the information you’ve gathered over the years?”

Ashara nodded slowly, her voice low. ”We do, Your Highness. But it is not perfect. There are gaps, missing pieces that we could never fill.”

”Hmm...” Javier’s lips curled into a faint smirk behind his clasped hands.

”Then let me make you an offer. Share everything you know. Every piece of intel, every observation, every detail, without lies, without hiding. In exchange, I will consider reducing your punishment. After all, you still need to serve your princess, don’t you?”

He paused, letting his words sink in.

”This does not mean you are free from punishment. You still endangered innocent lives in a public space, and that cannot be overlooked. But if you cooperate fully, I will consider your loyalty and the value of your information when deciding your fate.”

Ashara and Jiowana exchanged a brief glance before bowing their heads lower in unison.

”We understand, Your Highness. We will tell you everything.”

”Good.” Javier nodded before glancing at Falme.

Falme tilted her head slightly, her voice measured.

”Are you certain, Your Highness?”

”Mm.” Javier leaned back slightly, his gaze shifting to Ashara and Jiowana. ”Remove the cuffs from their hands. They cannot run or do anything reckless with their princess here.”

He turned his eyes back to the two women, his voice dropping into a low, warning tone.

”You can try to run, but the power I showed you both at the market was only a fraction of what I’m capable of. And most of the Armand personnel here, including her,” he gestured lazily toward Falme, ”possess the same level of strength.”

He paused, letting the weight of his words settle.

”If you truly care for your princess, if you want to live and continue serving and protecting her... then don’t try anything foolish.”

”T-thank you, Your Highness.” Ashara and Jiowana sobbed softly, their foreheads pressing against the floor as they bowed even lower.

Javier stood up, turning to walk toward the door before pausing and glancing over his shoulder.

”Don’t get me wrong. The reason I’m sparing your lives isn’t just because of the information you hold. It’s because your princess is crying in the dining room right now, hoping against hope that I’ll show mercy. So live, and serve her truly.”

Both women remained silent, still bowing low, their shoulders trembling with quiet sobs. Falme stepped forward, pulling out a small card and touching it to the magic cuffs, which clicked open and fell away.

Javier left the room without another word.

He walked down the hallway, letting out a heavy exhale as he nodded to an elven servant who bowed gracefully before continuing on her way.

Man... today was exhausting.

But now we have a chance to gather more detailed information and combine it with what Father extracted from Jaigar and Gorak using his Eyes of Truth. With that, we’ll have a much clearer picture of Julius’s strength, his forces, and his plans.

Javier paused after turning down a hallway that led to the back door of the mansion, leading into the backyard. His grin slowly stretched from ear to ear, his eyes gleaming with barely contained excitement.

So~

This Julius can summon ”Divine Warriors”...

Father can also summon, even if he never properly shows it to me. But he can summon different types of divine warriors, each with their own unique abilities. Like the one long before when we got into a ’duel practice’.

Does that mean Julius can do the same?

Does that mean I’ll finally be able to fight at full power against an enemy like him?

Ah~ imagine that, Javier... A thousands Divine Warriors clashing against your inventions, the puppet knights~

Which unit should I deploy first? The Shironii? The standard knights? White knights? Black Knights? The Special Ops Knight?

Or perhaps the newest knight that I’ve never shown to anyone~?

Will I finally see my puppet knights meet an equal in battle?

Or... will these ”Divine Warriors” be just like the monsters my knights have been crushing for years?

He stood still, his gaze dropping to the ground as his grin widened, his eyes gleaming with a manic light.

I want to see it... I want to see a battle where my knights can’t just steamroll the enemy. Where they have to fight, adapt, push beyond their limits. Where the mana core, the backup core, and the mana converter are truly put to the test.

I want to see if my creations can truly stand against a worthy foe.

And Ashara and Jiowana said he could make the heroes bend on their knees just by standing and smiling?

Just like I do?

Uwoooh! This is exciting!!

Will I have the chance to use the secret weapon I’ve been storing for years? Something I built just to fight if I ever encounter an enemy as strong as Father?

Ugh! I have no way to try those on my own father. No way. Who in their right mind attacks their own family just to test their power? Nope~

But~

His grin stretched further, his eyes gleaming with a dangerous light.

Julius isn’t family. He’s an enemy~

A stronger one~

Or perhaps I could finally unleash the real power within me? Magic and sword fighting? Like every man dreams of?

Julius wields a huge golden divine sword and a golden divine shield. And his power is beyond what any other summoned hero possesses.

So this means... he’s a real summoned hero, blessed by a real goddess before he arrived in this world.

Does that mean he stopped at the crossroads between worlds and met some goddess? Did he receive a blessing from a true divine being, not those Abyss Spirit pretenders?

If that’s true... then he might be the first real challenge I’ve ever faced.

Javier’s grin slowly shifted into a confident smirk as he pushed the back door open and stepped into the open yard. He tilted his head back, staring up at the vast night sky, the stars glittering like scattered diamonds, the silver moonlight casting a soft glow over the land.

”Cuquawked?”

”Oh, Buddy~ You wait here, okay? I’ve got some... release to do.”

”Cuquawked.” Buddy shrugged, settling down on the ground with a relaxed posture, his eyes fixed on Javier with quiet curiosity.

Javier snapped his fingers, and in an instant, he vanished.

He reappeared at the peak of the highest mountain in the Elven forest, a place where the most dangerous monsters roamed, a region so treacherous that no elf dared to wander near.

The air was thick with the growls and howls of beasts lurking in the shadows.

Javier snapped his fingers again, raising both palms. Two massive swords materialized in his hands, their blades gleaming with the brightest light, a fusion of divine radiance and modern fantasy design. Intricate runes pulsed along the edges, and the hilts were wrapped in a material that shimmered like liquid silver.

He gripped the swords casually, and a shockwave of aura exploded outward, sending the surrounding monsters into a frenzy of panicked screams.

His grin stretched wide, his eyes burning with anticipation.

Soon~

We’ll see who is the strongest.

Julius, the blessed summoned hero...

Or me, the one reborn from the blood of a true Goddess and the first Hero of this world.
