Reborn As Noble

After the grilling was done, Javier leaned back against the big tree near the pekko pen and his personal workshop.

”Fuhh... I’m full... heh...”

Javier glanced around. The other pekkos were preening their feathers nearby, while Buddy was focused on preening his own feathers right next to him.

He chuckled softly, looking up at Buddy, who was completely absorbed in his grooming.

Heh... just like a chicken, but bigger than an ostrich. Fantasy world is the best.

”Buddy...” Javier called, a playful smirk on his face.

”Cuquawked?” Buddy paused his preening and glanced down at Javier.

”Don’t you dare flick any of those ’feather mites’ or whatever that is on me,” Javier teased.

”Cuquawked!!!” Buddy stared at him for a moment, then with a mischievous glint in his large eye, he used one of his huge talons to casually push a small pile of loose dirt toward Javier.

”O... oi!” Javier laughed, jumping up from where he was leaning just in time to avoid the cloud of dust and pebbles that scattered where he’d been sitting.

He looked at Buddy and smiled.

”Buddy.”

”Cuquawked?” Buddy glanced at him.

”I’m going to my workshop now,” Javier said, slipping one hand into his pocket while raising the other in a casual wave over his shoulder as he turned and walked toward the small, sturdy building.

”Cuquawked!” Buddy squawked once in acknowledgment, watching him for a moment before returning to preening his feathers as Javier reached the main door.

Javier placed his hand on the glowing rune lock and channeled a pulse of his mana. The door slid open with a soft hiss, and he stepped inside, leaving it slightly ajar for Liana and the others to enter later.

Once inside, he stopped by the main crafting table.

He snapped his fingers and opened his dimensional storage, carefully taking out an ornate wooden box filled with various gems, crystals, and unique materials. He then retrieved another small box containing refined adamantite, gold ore, and mithril ore, placing both on the table.

He pulled the chair closer and sat down slowly, his gaze thoughtful.

Hmm... I wonder what type of gem or crystal I should use for each of them?

He sifted through the gems, picking out several choices before smiling softly.

Mm... for Liana... I believe this one is perfect. Since she is graceful, composed, responsible, subtly possessive.

Deep Forest Emerald, its color rich and vibrant, like the heart of an ancient woods.

Yeah... this one suits her. She’s my first and greatest love, the one I truly wanted from the very beginning, and she will be my first wife.

I’ll craft it with Mithril Filigree, elegant and strong. The design should have climbing ivy or woven vines, symbolizing her subtly possessive yet nurturing nature, representing growth, protection, and her role as the ”trunk” of our family tree. Something elegant, strong, and timeless, just like her.

He placed the gemstone to the side and looked for another.

For Gloria... since she’s playful, mischievous, intelligent, and dramatic...

His eyes landed on one particular gemstone.

Ah~ This one suits her perfectly. The Star Sapphire. When light hits it, a clear, six-rayed star appears inside, reflecting her multifaceted intelligence and the way she can surprise you from any angle. For the necklace, I believe gold will suit her best, a warm, rich gold that complements the cool depth of the sapphire, making it feel more inviting and lively, just like her.

Since it wouldn’t be fair to use mithril for Liana and a lesser gold for Gloria, I should use the highest quality, sun-blessed gold to match its value and her worth.

Javier smiled and set the sapphire aside.

Next is Felicia. Hmm... which one should I choose for her?

She’s shy, proper, princess-like, yet secretly passionate... and since I’ve heard her first soft ”nya” slip out when she’s surprised or flustered...

This highest-quality Rose Morganite will suit her well. A gemstone that glows with a warm, ”passionate” pink hue when the wearer is happy or excited, perfect for capturing her hidden fire. It’s elegant and gentle on the surface, but holds a beautiful, emotional light within, just like her.

And for the necklace, rose gold is perfect, it complements the gem’s soft color and adds a touch of delicate, princess-like elegance.

Next is Delya~

Mm~ I really want her for the next sweet moment~ Ehehehe.

Well... let’s set that thought aside for now. Sex can wait since she will surely be mine in time.

For now, a gemstone suitable for her.

Since she’s dreamy, romantic, elegant, emotionally sensitive, and has that unique trait of seven phantoms... ah~ I wonder if all seven...

Javier shook his head.

Focus... focus... this isn’t the time to think about that.

Oh! Deep Amethyst. Perfect for her dress and her hair color~ and of course, her unique personality. A gem that shifts from a soft violet to a dreamy blue depending on the light, reflecting her ”dreamy” and ”sensitive” nature.

For the necklace, I’ll craft a mithril Orbit Necklace, where the main gem is delicately encircled by seven tiny, shimmering crystal shards, each representing one of her phantom clones. It will look like a constellation around a gentle moon, elegant and full of hidden depth.

And lastly... my cute Mimi~

Ehehehe...

Since she’s energetic, playful, childish, food-loving, and always with her adorable ’nya’. Which I absolutely love. A dream for a reborn man like me... of course, everyone is my favorite.

Javier picked up a high-quality gemstone from the box.

Oh... nice... Sunstone. It contains tiny metallic inclusions that sparkle like glitter, matching her ”excited kitten” personality perfectly.

Crafting a necklace with rose gold for it will be perfect. The warm, cheerful color of the gem will suit her bright energy so well.

Man, I wish I could use a little paw charm for the setting... but it might be a bit too literal. And she might not like it if it feels too childish.

Javier chuckled softly to himself.

Well... now everything is ready.

I guess I should start crafting now.
