The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL]

Ollie’s hand shot up.

”I-I have a question,” he stammered, visibly sweating. ”Is this the part where everyone just drops dead from shock?”

Surprisingly, Princess Kira shook her head solemnly.

”No, Ollie. This is the part where the Orcish King picks up the nearest banquet table and THROWS it.”

D-29 shrieked, its prompts weirdly a mix of poppers and giant Xs.

”YES. YES. FINALLY.”

Ollie gulped.

Luca’s eyes trembled in distress.

Ada sighed long and deep. ”Here we go.”

Kira leaned forward, eyes gleaming with chaos.

”Apparently, the bride couldn’t tell them. But that didn’t mean nothing had been done because the bride ended up showing them instead.”

”!”

A hush fell over the small group as Kira continued. The story unfolded like an ancient drama that had been passed down through traumatized generations.

Inside the wedding hall, the bride’s eyes widened with sudden clarity. She stared straight at the crying intruder, who seemed lost in her own dramatic meltdown.

But then something changed.

The intruder’s face twisted, just slightly, as if fighting a smile. A smirk flickered over trembling lips.

The bride froze.

The crowd remained confused. After all, the Elven Crown Prince had been seated calmly at the head table for the entire reception. How could the intruder make such a claim when the prince was quite literally right there?

But the moment stretched. It felt like forever.

The bride pressed a hand against her chest. Her new husband looked down at her, confused and surprisingly worried, as if he sensed something was wrong.

Then, in one sudden motion, the bride shed a single tear.

She turned. Slowly. Deliberately. Her gaze locked onto the head table where the prince sat among the important guests.

And with no warning at all, she raised her hand and fired a spiritual attack straight at the Elven Prince.

The entire hall recoiled.

They had been too distracted by the screaming intruder. No guard reacted in time.

Spiritual light cracked through the air.

A wave of panic followed.

Screams rose from every direction.

Then a louder scream cut through the chaos when the Elven Prince’s body jerked, shuddered, and collapsed.

A hollow sound echoed.

Wood.

Dry, splintering wood.

The prince’s body had turned into a wooden puppet.

The bride collapsed to her knees and wept.

Gasps erupted like a volcano.

Someone fell.

Then someone else fell on top of that person.

Kira paused her story only to enjoy the horrified expressions of her audience.

Then she continued.

Just when the hall seemed unable to handle more chaos, a voice filled the air. It came from the bride, who lowered her head and muttered through clenched teeth.

”Yes, I am Prince Silarion, but it has always been me since the beginning of all this. And it is I who is marrying for love.”

The words echoed into the reception hall like a thunderstrike hitting the ground.

The gasp that followed was the gasp of all gasps.

The Elven King, father of Prince Silarion, staggered back in shock. He wobbled like his soul was trying to leave his body. Somehow, he remained standing.

Barely.

But when the intruder pointed at the disguised bride and cried, ”You all heard him. This marriage is really a scam. I am supposed to be the bride,” he lost more of his remaining energy and sanity.

She cried again, but this time her eyes shone brightly, full of desperate hope.

Only for her eyes to dim when the bride, who was still kneeling in anguished tears, shouted back.

”You are supposed to be the bride? You who ran off with another man even before the Orcs arrived?”

The intruder froze.

The bride rose shakily to her feet, pointing at her like someone with a mountain of grievances.

”Are you saying that you, who cried, begged, and ran away without waiting for anyone, just magically returned now to announce that you will marry someone you have avoided for months?”

”You-your Highness, I know you hate me, but you should not be lying like—” the intruder stammered.

”Lying?” The bride laughed, but there was nothing kind about it. ”I still have your letters. The letters where you told me how you did not want to be married to an orc and how you already had someone else you wanted as your husband.”

”!!!”

The entire hall inhaled sharply.

And that was when it happened.

A loud crack echoed across the hall as a banquet table flew to the side. The Orc King, his patience shattered, roared from the center of the chaos.

”What is the meaning of this?”

The ground shook.

The wedding was officially doomed.

Or so they thought.

The guests were now cowering, some hiding under tables, others frozen in place like decorative statues. The tension was thick, heavy, and so unstable that even a sneeze could have shattered the last bit of peace.

Prince Silarion, however, did not immediately explain himself to the Orc King.

Instead, he bowed low and said, ”Your Majesty, I would like to apologize with my life, but before I do so, I must apologize to my husband first.”

”!!!”

A wave of shock rippled across the hall.

The bride, who had revealed himself as Prince Silarion, slowly sank to his knees. Tears streamed down his face, and his voice trembled as he looked up at the bewildered Orc Prince.

”I am truly sorry,” he whispered. ”I deceived you. I never wanted to. There were so many times when I tried to come clean. So many moments I opened my mouth to speak, only for us to end up unable to talk because of things.”

His face turned pink at the last word.

Someone in the crowd gasped. Someone else coughed loudly out of embarrassment.

Silarion pressed on. ”I know it was wrong. I know being found out like this is unforgivable. But I cannot apologize for marrying you. Not that part. Never that part. Because I really wanted to be your partner.”

”From the day I first tripped in those unfamiliar shoes, up until today, and in every day that will come after, there is no one else for me but you.”

Silence followed.

Pure, awe-struck silence.

Even the Orc King, who was used to elves arriving full of pride and superiority, stared in disbelief at the sight of the Elven Crown Prince kneeling like that before his son.
