Marvel: All My Incarnations Are S-Class Villainesses

Chapter 94: Chapter 94: Makima’s Finger of Death

Sumire knew very well that Madame Gao’s current situation was actually quite precarious.

It was only 2011; she had likely just started construction and hadn’t dug up a damn thing yet.

Not to mention, even if she had finished digging, she wouldn’t be able to get the Dragon Bone at all.

Because the final door leading to the Dragon Bone’s burial site was sealed with a K’un-Lun seal by an ancient Iron Fist.

To open that door, one needed the Chi of an Iron Fist.

Yes, an Iron Fist, but not Aina’s Iron Fist—rather, the Iron Fist of ’Spirit as Grand as a Rainbow!’

To be more precise, it wasn’t actually that Iron Fist either.

Iron Fist isn’t a single person, but a title.

There have been over sixty Iron Fists from ancient times to the present, passed down through generations.

In Sumire’s Universe, the most recent Iron Fist would be Danny Rand, who would form the Defenders with Daredevil, the lawyer Matt Murdock, in a few years.

For Sumire, this white hero who mastered Chinese Kung Fu was somewhat difficult to evaluate.

It wasn’t because he was a foreigner.

Mainly because, by comparison, Sumire still preferred the mature and steady Danny Rand from ’Ultimate Spider-Man,’ as well as... the’Sword Immortal’ Lin Lie.

”Spirit as Grand as a Rainbow!”

...Getting a bit off-track. Back to the negotiation scene.

Sitwell obviously didn’t believe such nonsense either.

”Fossils?” He raised an eyebrow exaggeratedly, as if he had heard a joke. ”Madame Gao, are you telling me that for a few dinosaur bones, you would go as far as to use your ninjas to blockade a block?”

”Everyone has their own obsessions.”

Madame Gao countered neither humbly nor arrogantly.

”Since they are cultural relics, you shouldn’t mind letting me have a look, right?”

Sitwell approached another step, his tone hardening: ”After all, if they are dangerous goods, I’ll have to reassess the risk. But if it’s really just a few old bones... I don’t think S.H.I.E.L.D. would go so far as to confiscate an elderly person’s collection.”

”We treat the elderly very well. Think of it as... helping me write a report when I get back, how about it?”

This was a ’checkmate’ move.

If you say it’s a relic, then let me see it.

If you don’t, then you’re hiding something, and that’s a breach of contract.

Madame Gao’s expression turned completely cold.

She obviously couldn’t produce them.

Never mind that she hadn’t found them yet.

Even if she really had dug up the Dragon Bone, it was the lifeblood of The Hand. How could she possibly show it to this insatiable bald man?

Their relationship, bound purely by interest, was as fragile as paper.

Once the other party knew the true value of the Dragon Bone, they would likely be double-crossed on the spot.

”Mr. Sitwell.” Madame Gao’s fingers tightened slightly on her cane, a chill of warning entering her voice: ”Our original agreement was very clear. You take the money and keep your eyes closed; we give the money and handle the business.”

”The clause for curiosity is not on our payment list.”

”Furthermore...”

Her clouded eyes looked directly at Sitwell: ”There are no rare treasures, only a pile of dirt that hasn’t been cleared yet.”

”The Agent is being difficult.”

”Being difficult?”

Sitwell put away his smile, his gaze turning sinister: ”I feel more like Madame Gao doesn’t consider us true friends.”

Since both sides had talked to this point.
