Marvel: All My Incarnations Are S-Class Villainesses

Chapter 63: Chapter 63: Pain and Pleasure

”Aaaaaah—!!!”

Reze suddenly bolted up from the bed, letting out a short scream.

She gasped for air, her body already drenched in cold sweat, her pajamas clinging tightly to her skin.

Those eyes, which usually held a hint of cunning, were now wide with confusion as her pupils constricted violently.

”Reze? Reze!”

Sumire was startled and quickly sat up, gently patting her back.

”It’s okay, it’s okay, it was just a dream...”

”I know...” Reze’s voice carried a sob as she reached back and tightly hugged Sumire’s waist, her strength so great it felt as if she wanted to truly merge with her. ”But it felt so real... I thought... I thought I’d never see you again...”

Sumire distressfully stroked Reze’s sweat-dampened long hair, her brow furrowing slightly.

So even Incarnations can have nightmares?

Sumire knew that Incarnations could dream; after all, they possessed remnants of their original souls.

Different brains naturally have different dreams at night.

For example, Perona often dreamed of her days back at Thriller Bark; she was a particularly nostalgic girl.

Every time she woke up, she would treat Kumashi a bit more gently for a few minutes.

Then, once the dream was mostly forgotten, she would immediately flip her attitude and start bossing Kumashi around again.

Then there was Lux, who often dreamed of her aunt, Tianna.

Even though Tianna was strict with her, Lux knew Tianna loved her. That capable and tall figure, that tenderness hidden within severity, caused an inappropriate feeling to unknowingly sprout within Lux... As for Reze’s dreams... cough, those dreamscapes were filled with pink bubbles and certain indescribable scenes involving Sumire, so let’s not dwell on those.

One could only say she truly lived up to the name of the Soviet Succubus... But an Incarnation having a nightmare was a first... ”Who told you to insist on making me watch horror movies with you last night...” Perona, also woken up, grumbled faintly.

Sumire comforted her softly, ”Alright, alright, be good and go to sleep. I’ll hold you while you sleep.”

Under Sumire’s soft-spoken comfort, Reze’s tensed nerves finally began to relax.

Although she still felt some lingering fear, wrapped in the warmth of her other self, exhaustion washed over her again.

She wasn’t just ”Reze,” but ”Sumire’s Reze.”

This realization filled her heart with a sense of security once more.

It was just a dream... Like a kitten seeking shelter, she curled up in the mother cat’s embrace and fell back asleep.

After confirming Reze was asleep, Sumire also yawned and gently hugged her. ”Honestly...”

”Gave me a scare...”

...The next morning.

Morning in Queens always carried a unique laziness. Golden sunlight peeked through the gaps in the curtains, illuminating fine dust motes dancing in the air before dappling a corner of the large bed.

Sumire groggily regained consciousness from a deep sleep, feeling a tickle on the tip of her nose.
