After I Fully Prepared for the Apocalypse, the Ungrateful Cried with Regret

”Riventon Base? I doubt it. You aren’t the rescue team from Riventon Base at all.”

Nina Jacobs said.

Riventon Base was still hundreds of kilometers away from here.

Besides, she had just used her ”Five Senses Enhancement” to probe the situation inside.

There were indeed people inside killing zombies.

However, the language they were speaking was not Drakonian.

Coupled with the prompt from the system’s zero-dollar purchase mission, she figured these people were most likely Veridians.

Mirewood County had also been on the list she looked at yesterday.

Having been exposed, Gordon didn’t argue. He simply said:

”It doesn’t matter which base we’re from. We’re the ones clearing out the zombies in this town, so the supplies are naturally ours.”

”Hey! So you were lying to us? You’re not from a base at all!”

”You’re not from a base, and you still want to hoard all the supplies? You think you’re so tough just because you have more people?!”

”That’s right! If you’ve got the guts, let’s fight! Whoever backs down is a coward! You got no balls!”

Hearing this, the surrounded group grew even angrier, and they all began pointing at the others and cursing.

”Then let’s show you who’s in charge here today!”

Without any warning, Gordon waved his hand, conjuring several Fireballs that he launched straight at the group!

What shocked the group even more was that countless bullets also came flying in their direction!

A cold smile played on Gordon’s lips, and a flash of glee crossed his eyes.

However, to everyone’s surprise, a sand shield materialized just in time to block all the attacks.

Cassius Stone and the others broke out in a cold sweat.

”They’re actually trying to kill us...”

the woman who had been leaning against the car said in disbelief.

’They’re trying to kill us outright!’

Gordon waved to the people behind him, his gaze fixed on Nina Jacobs.

”Miss, are you trying to throw an egg against a stone?”

But Nina Jacobs didn’t respond to his provocation.

”You aren’t Drakonians. You have no right to take our Drakonian supplies.”

Nina Jacobs stated.

This statement made Gordon furrow his brow.

’Who the hell is this woman? How could she know our background?’

”What? They aren’t Drakonians?

Then they’re...”

Cassius Stone and his group were completely bewildered.

”If they’re not Drakonians, then what are they? No wonder they’re all covered up. So they’re foreigners here to steal our supplies?”

the woman in the tracksuit from before said in a sharp tone.

”Shut your mouth! We are not stealing!”

Gordon roared angrily.

”I’ve seen shameless people, but I’ve never seen anyone as shameless as you Veridians.”

Nina Jacobs said.

”So they’re Veridians?

If you don’t leave peacefully right now, we’ll... we’ll call people from the base to come deal with you!”

Cassius Stone said.

Gordon chuckled.

”There isn’t a single base within a hundred kilometers of here. You’re just a bunch of useless rats surviving in Drakonia.

Anyone with the power has the right to fight for supplies.

And they can also kill all you Drakonians!”

After speaking, at his command, another group of people quickly disembarked from the white vehicles.

Facing an encirclement of over a hundred people, Cassius Stone and his group instantly knew things were looking bad.

They wanted to run, but it was probably too late now.

”’Anyone with the power has the right to fight for supplies,’

you’re not wrong about that.”

Nina Jacobs’s face showed no trace of fear. Beside her, arcs of electricity were already crackling on Wayne Warner’s fists.

”How dare you be disrespectful to Mr. Gordon! You...”

A man in a camouflage uniform threw a punch and charged toward Nina and Wayne.

But his fist was met in mid-air by an open palm.

The next moment, with a BANG and a flash of electricity, the man was struck in the abdomen and collapsed.

His abdomen was a charred mess, every bone and sinew in his body shattered. His limbs lay on the ground like limp noodles.

”Lynch!”

Gordon’s eyes were wide with shock.

Lynch was their strongest Strength Element Superpower User, yet despite wearing full-body protection, he had been killed by this man in a single blow!

”Yeah!”

Seeing this, Cassius Stone and his group hastily cheered.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Several bullets, accompanied by Superpowers, flew toward Nina Jacobs and the others.

Nina Jacobs raised a Diamond Sand Wall and said to the people behind her:

”You should go first.”

”How can we do that?!

We Drakonians might fight amongst ourselves for supplies, but when we face foreigners, we must stand united!”

After Cassius Stone spoke, the others chimed in in agreement.

Nina Jacobs said helplessly:

”If you stay here, you’ll just be a burden to us.

I don’t want to see Drakonians die at the hands of foreigners.”

A burden...

Looking at Nina Jacobs standing before them, holding off the attacks, the group only hesitated for a moment.

”Let’s go!”

Cassius Stone said nothing more, leading his people into their vehicle and quickly driving away.

Hearing the vehicle depart behind her, Nina Jacobs smiled.

”How does Drakonia produce such an overconfident madwoman?

Capture this woman alive for me.”

Gordon said to the people behind him in the Veridian language.

Although Nina Jacobs couldn’t understand what they were saying, she saw their malicious smiles and could guess their intentions.

”Looking at them is so annoying. Kill them all.”

The moment Nina Jacobs’s words fell, her figure vanished.

”There!”

Someone from the back pointed toward the sky.

”Kill her!” Gordon yelled.

Several Superpower attacks flew toward Nina Jacobs in mid-air.

But her figure vanished from the sky like a phantom.

In the next instant, a series of invisible blades, like a thousand slicing cuts, stirred up a bloody storm among the crowd below.

SCHLICK!

It wasn’t just the invisible attacks from the air; Stone Spikes also erupted from the ground below.

The Stone Spikes were exceptionally sturdy. Some tried to destroy them with their Superpowers, only to find they couldn’t even make a scratch.

”Aaargh!”

One of the men was impaled by a Stone Spike.

Everything seemed to happen in an instant. Even Gordon was stunned.

”What in the world is this Superpower?”

Before the words had even left his mouth, a Thunder Fist radiating with Attack Power was already flying toward him!

”Damn it! It’s a Speed Element Superpower and a Wind Element Superpower!

She’s over there!”

A Speed Element Superpower User spotted Nina Jacobs’s figure.

But when he fired a shot, he found he had only hit an afterimage.

”You guessed right.”

A pleasant female voice sounded from behind him. The next moment, the Speed Element Superpower User felt a cold sensation on his neck, and his head was severed from his body.

”He looked like a Drakonian. Still, his death is no great loss.”

Nina Jacobs gazed at the head with its wide-open eyes.

’There’s no way the Veridians could have located Drakonian supplies so accurately without the help of a Drakonian.’

’In her opinion, people like that didn’t deserve to live.’

The slaughter carried out by the two of them lasted only a few minutes. Nina Jacobs looked at the blood-soaked intersection, then waved her hand and used her Fire Element Superpower to incinerate everything.

This was also done to avoid attracting more zombies.

”Who are you people? Just how many different Superpowers do you have?”

Following Nina Jacobs’s orders, Wayne Warner had not killed Gordon immediately.

”You still have quite a few people inside, don’t you?

Don’t worry, they don’t know you’ve all been killed yet.”

Nina Jacobs waved her hand, dispelling the Diamond Sand Cover that had enveloped the intersection.

The screams and sounds of battle from just now had all been contained.

She had already used her ”Five Senses Enhancement” to listen earlier; there were many people inside, split into groups to kill zombies.

This man Gordon and the people with him were probably just acting as lookouts for the ones inside.

”What do you want?”

Watching Nina Jacobs approach him step by step, Gordon had an increasingly bad feeling.

”Nothing much. I just want you to point out all of your Space Superpower Users for me.”

Nina Jacobs took out a small piece of wood, crouching in front of Gordon as she spoke.
