Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Chapter 386: Zeref Loses Both His Wealth and People

”It really works…”

”What Evan told me was all true!”

Mavis froze. She had not expected that the method Evan taught her really worked. She only needed to act cute, then use an extremely ordinary tone to ask August, and August would definitely agree to her request.

”Since this is your request, Master Mavis, this old man… will naturally agree.”

At this moment, August had long since thrown all the worries and plans in his mind to the back of his head. That kind of thing was simply not important in front of his adorable mother.

There was only one thing he, August, had to do, and that was that as long as he could make his great mother happy, that was enough. As for the great cause of Augustʼs kind old father, the Black Mage Zeref, it had already been thrown to the back of Augustʼs head at this moment…

Even if one day Zeref really lost his mind and planned to attack the continent of Ishgar, he would still protect Mavis, because Mavis was his mother!

”Mm! August, donʼt mind the things from before! From now on, as long as you join Fairy Tail Guild, we will be family! I am Fairy Tail Guildʼs First Guild Master Mavis, and at the same time, I am also everyoneʼs head of the family~ An existence like your mother. If there is anything you do not understand, just come find me…”

Mavis looked at August and nodded in satisfaction. The ahoge on her head kept swaying along with her joyful mood.

”An existence like a mother?”

After hearing Mavisʼs words, August froze. His eyes opened wide, his expression carrying a hint of shock.

At the same time, the instant Mavis mentioned the word mother, Augustʼs eyes began to become slightly moist…

August had already forgotten how long it had been since these old eyes of his had become moist…

”Zeref, as for your empire, I think as things currently stand, it can already be dissolved. Even if you continue building it, there is no meaning anymore. Your dear good son has already become the shape of our Fairy Tail…”

”Not only your good son, even your beautiful wife has already become the shape of our Fairy Tail…”

At the same time, Evan looked at August, who had the posture of a great filial son, and the corners of his mouth rose slightly.

In fact, Evan had already hinted enough to Mavis. He had practically almost directly told Mavis Augustʼs identity! Unfortunately, although Mavis was very smart, she was especially airheaded and completely failed to connect the story Evan told with herself. As a result, although Mavis was full of sympathy for August, she did not think that the old-faced man before her was actually her son…

As for August, everything had already become settled! Evan knew that August was a kind good person. However, good people had to be pointed at with a gun. As long as Evan had no lower limit and chose to kidnap August with family affection, August had no way at all…

Right now, other than Zeref himself, Zerefʼs entire family had already become the shape of their Fairy Tail…

Uh, although strictly speaking, Mavis had been the shape of Fairy Tail from the beginning.

Or rather, it would actually be more appropriate to say that the current Fairy Tail Guild was all in Mavisʼs shape~

And right now, after Irene, the final wall among the two walls known as the Empireʼs Twin Walls among Zerefʼs Spriggan 12 in the original work, August, had also joined the glorious evolution, abandoned darkness and turned toward light, and become a member of their Mage Guild Fairy Tail! In other words, the Alvarez Empireʼs Twin Walls had currently all been abducted by Evan and become Mages of their Fairy Tail Guild.

Right now, after August and Irene left the Alvarez Empire, the Alvarez Empire no longer had any threat in Evanʼs eyes. As for the remaining ten shields among the Spriggan 12, putting aside whether Zeref could still gather the remaining ten shields, even if Zeref really gathered the remaining ten shields, what could he do? Could Zeref really rely on those vulnerable ten shields to defeat their Dragon Tail?

Even Larcade Dragneel, who in Zerefʼs eyes was the strongest and most special among the remaining people of the Spriggan 12 aside from Irene and August! Even Larcade, when facing Irene, Evan, Selene, and August, what could he do?! Make Selene and the others in Fairy Tail Guild climax continuously? Or use his powerful Curse to make Evan and the others fall asleep?!

Even if Larcadeʼs Curse could interfere with everyone, he still had to be able to release his Curse first~ With the gap in strength between Larcade and Evanʼs group, the instant Larcade saw Evan and the others would be the moment Larcade disappeared…

In other words, Evan could say very impolitely to Zeref, ”Zeref, giving you some face, just surrender directly! The regent of your Alvarez Empire is one of our Fairy Tail people…”

As for what to do if Zeref did not know what was good for him when the time came, Evan could only activate his ultimate move.

”Hehehe! Zeref, your wife and child are now both in our Fairy Tail! You wouldnʼt want your wife Mavis and your adorable son to be hurt, right?”

At this moment, the corners of Evanʼs mouth rose slightly. Now that Magic King August had joined Fairy Tail Guild, there were no more enemies in front of their Fairy Tail Guild!

”Achoo~”

At the same time, in a quiet forest, a young man with short black hair was striding through the forest. His eyes were like pitch-black pearls, his temperament was like a calm deep pool, and he advanced like this, incomparably quiet.

”Hmm?!”

However, just as the young man was advancing, he suddenly felt something in his heart.

”I keep feeling like someone is thinking about me?”

The young manʼs gaze carried a hint of doubt. He kept feeling that someone in this world was talking about him again.

This made the young man puzzled, because there should already be no one in this world who could worry about him…

No, if it was someone who worried about him, it was not that there was completely none. There was actually still one person…

”Evan, is it you? At present, in this world, you should be the only one who would think about me!”

”Rest assured! I will definitely use all my strength to find the weakness of God Ankhseram!”

”The Curse of Ankhseram will be completely ended in your era and mine…”

The young man looked at the azure sky above his head, his gaze incomparably gentle.

Yes, the young manʼs name was the Black Mage Zeref. He was the most famous Mage in this world, only all his titles were evil names. His name often appeared in the most terrifying horror stories in the world of Earth-land. He was like the incarnation of evil…

However, even the incarnation of evil still had someone thinking about him, and that person who thought about him was named Evan Belserion. In Zerefʼs eyes, Evan was a good person, and an extremely good person at that. Zeref even used Suggestion Magic on himself every day in order to prevent his curse from harming Evan, making it so that he could not develop any goodwill toward Evan…

At this moment, Zeref had long since forgotten the matter of him having once created the Alvarez Empire on the western continent. Or rather, Zeref did not have time to care about the affairs of the Alvarez Empire. After all, in Zerefʼs eyes, everything in the western empire was nothing more than tools, tools he could use whenever he wanted and then abandon whenever he wanted!

However, it was precisely because Zeref regarded everything in the Alvarez Empire as tools that he would never be interfered with by anything in the Alvarez Empire. He would not develop emotions toward anything in the Alvarez Empire! However, it was also precisely because Zeref did not develop emotions toward the people of the Alvarez Empire that this organization established for Zeref could still exist intact. Otherwise, the Alvarez Empire should probably have long since turned into dust of history under the Curse of Ankhseram, becoming endless ruins…

”Right now, August can be considered to have completely become one with our Fairy Tail. Next, perhaps I can persuade Zeref to join Fairy Tail. At that time, where in this world would there still be any Alvarez Empire? It would merely be another Fairy Tail branch guild…”

Evanʼs eyes flickered with waves of radiance. Perhaps others thought his goal was to take both walls of Zerefʼs Alvarez Empire into his pocket! However, that was not actually the case. This was only the first layer. His goal was the entire Zeref Empire, and among that was even Zeref, the emperor of the Alvarez Empire.

”Speaking of which, if the Alvarez Empire is completely taken into our Fairy Tailʼs pocket, then should the war launched by the Alvarez Empire against the continent of Ishgar be fought or not? Itʼs somewhat brain-hurting? If we donʼt fight, the atmosphere has already been built up for several decades. If we fight, wouldnʼt that truly confirm Fairy Tailʼs identity as a Dark Guild?!”

The corners of Evanʼs mouth rose slightly, and at the same time, his eyes were somewhat helpless. He did not want things to be like this either! But who made all the evil things in this world related to their Fairy Tail?

Among the three great Dark Guilds in the original work, among the Balam Alliance, leaving aside the Oración Seis, who were there to make up the numbers, the Grimoire Heart known as the strongest Dark Guild on the continent? That was established by their Fairy Tailʼs Second Guild Master.

Tartaros, known as the most mysterious Dark Guild on the continent? Their guildʼs boss was the little brother inside their Fairy Tail Guild. As for Tartaros, that was simply the little brother among little brothers…

As for the Alvarez Empire that planned to attack the continent of Ishgar, that was established by the husband of their Fairy Tail First Guild Master Mavis…

Finally, the Black Dragon King Acnologia, who started going crazy and intended to destroy the world, was still the product after Dragon Slayer Magic was developed by their Fairy Tail Guild member Irene…

Looking at it this way, if they said Fairy Tail Guild was wholeheartedly facing the light, perhaps no one would believe it, right?!

”Hehe…”

Thinking of this, Evan laughed lightly. The battle between the Alvarez Empire on the western continent and the continent of Ishgar definitely could not happen, but the Alvarez Empireʼs military strength was sufficiently powerful, and the national atmosphere was martial. Not fighting was impossible. Therefore, right now, Evan had a method that could satisfy both sides, and that was to let the Alvarez Empire help him attack the northern continent of Guiltina!

Use the power that Zeref, Zeref, had spent such a long time accumulating to deal with the Five Dragon Gods, as well as those forces with crooked thoughts on the northern continent…

Let the forces of northern continent Guiltina feel just how terrifying the army of millions of Mages formed by the Alvarez Empireʼs Spriggan 12 could be when united as one! After all, not every force in this world was their Fairy Tail, which could happily open heart hacks…

” Master Mavis, although I have already agreed to your request to become Fairy Tailʼs Guild Master, honestly speaking, I know nothing about the work of a Guild Master. Therefore, I hope you can allow me to start as Fairy Tail Guildʼs acting Guild Master!”

”Before officially becoming Fairy Tailʼs Guild Master, please allow me to first do some odd jobs for Senior Makarov and familiarize myself with what kind of duties a Fairy Tail Guild Master needs to master. This way, I can also better handle the guildʼs affairs in the future…”

August first calmed his excited mood. He looked at Mavis with respect in his expression. That was respect from the bottom of his heart. After all, this adorable young girl before him was Augustʼs biological mother.

In fact, Makarov had absolutely nothing to teach August. And the so-called matters August needed to handle were merely, after the guildʼs Mages caused destruction, August, as acting Guild Master, paying compensation…

”Sure~”

Mavis looked at August with a gentle gaze. After August raised his opinion, she agreed directly without thinking. Mavis seemed not to consider whether August, as a spy, sincerely wanted to join Fairy Tail. Mavis chose to believe in August. She believed every person who had Fairy Tail Guildʼs emblem on them!

Mavis was that kind, and Augustʼs kindness was precisely inherited from Mavis…

”Then, Master Mavis, before allowing me to learn from Senior Makarov about how a Guild Master conducts himself! Please first allow me to have a good chat with Senior Evan. Actually, I am an admirer of Evan. I have long heard about Evan Belserion, Ishgarʼs strongest Mage, so I plan to have a proper chat with Evan…”

After receiving Mavisʼs agreement, August smiled and looked toward Evan, who had been hiding beside the guild bar counter all along. After all, August was not a fool. In truth, he had already seen through everything, yet he could do nothing about it.

August was transcendent. As the Magic King, he possessed countless magics in this world, even magic capable of seeing through human nature! He had long since grown tired of human thoughts!

Therefore, in this world, the only people who could give him orders were his father and mother. In other words, in this world, aside from his father Zeref, the only one who could give him orders and interfere with his plans was Mavis. So August knew this was Evanʼs scheme, but he could do nothing about it. This was Evanʼs open scheme…

However, just as August stared fixedly at Evan, Evan was dealing with another matter.

”Ultear, Iʼll leave it to you. With your magic, you should be able to restore the entire guild to its original state, right?”

Evanʼs expression was calm. The reason he was indifferent and did not care at all that August had destroyed the entire guild was precisely because he held the card named Ultear in his hand.

With Ultearʼs Arc of Time ability, she could completely restore the guild August had destroyed to its original state!

Since Ultear joined Fairy Tail Guild, the guildʼs yearly expenses spent on renovating the guild and maintaining facilities had become less and less.

”Got it, leave it to me~”

Ultear, who was wearing a tight combat suit that outlined her perfect figure, lightly nodded after hearing Evanʼs words. Then, in her beautiful eyes, a clock seemed to turn. The second hand, minute hand, and even hour hand began to rotate. All time began to rewind toward the past.

”Buzz~”

Along with that strange magical radiance releasing throughout the entire Fairy Tail Guild…

Whether it was the tables and chairs destroyed by Animusʼs roar, or Fairy Tail Guild, which had been completely blasted by Augustʼs judgment to the point of nearly being scrapped, everything began to move toward the state before destruction.

Several minutes later, when Ultearʼs forehead was covered in sweat, the entire Fairy Tail Guild finally returned to its original appearance.

”Hoo...”

Ultear slowly let out a breath. A faint smile appeared on her beautiful cheeks.

Perhaps because Ultear had once followed Precht and done many wrong things, right now, every time Ultear completed one good deed, she would feel relaxed and happy.

”Ultear, you did well~”

Evan looked at Ultear, who had used magic to restore the guild to its original state, and raised his thumb.

Right now, the guild had once again returned to its usual appearance, and Evan had not only obtained August as a person, but also let Makarov earn a sum for free, the compensation August paid to the guild.

Right now, their Fairy Tail had earned both people and wealth, while Zeref, Zeref, had lost both talent and wealth. It was simply incredibly satisfying~

Just as Evan was still feeling relieved about his perfect plan…

An aged figure stood behind Evan like this.

”Evan, good brat, you schemed against me?”

August narrowed his eyes as he looked at Evan before him and asked aloud.

”Uh…”

Evan froze. Cold sweat emerged on his forehead. He had not expected August to actually see through his trick. He had still thought that after August saw Mavis, he would directly suffer a blow from the intelligence-reduction halo, then obediently become a toolman for their Fairy Tail Guild~

”Big Brother Evan, Iʼll leave first. You two talk…”

Ultear sensed that the atmosphere before her was not right, so she immediately took a few steps back and gave the place to Evan and August.

”Hehe…”

In response, Evan merely laughed lightly as he looked at Ultear, who fled before the battle. He did not say anything. After all, facing an existence at Augustʼs level, even if Ultear stayed, she would not be able to help him much.

”Senior August, congratulations on becoming Fairy Tail Guildʼs S-Class Mage~ Truly worthy of celebration, worthy of celebration!”

Evan turned his head and looked at August. He immediately changed his face and cheerfully congratulated August.

”Cut the nonsense, Evan. You really have guts?! You actually made my mother persuade me and make me betray my father…”

”In the entire world of Earth-land, the only one who dares play like this and play this wildly is you, Evan Belserion.”

August looked at Evan with cold eyes.

”Just basic operations…”

Evan shook his head, indicating that August should not praise him like this, as he was prone to getting shy.

”Hehe…”

”In any case, thank you for what happened today~”

August glared at Evan, then thanked Evan in an incomparably stiff tone.

In fact, Augustʼs old face had already become incomparably red at this moment…

Today, August was emotional, excited, happy! No matter what, Mavis had conveyed a signal to him, a signal from Mavis as a mother. This signal allowed August to find an incomparably thick and heavy love, whose name was maternal love.

Although the motherly feeling Mavis conveyed to August was very shallow, merely one of the countless faint loves Mavis held toward all the Mages in Fairy Tail Guild, it was still enough for August.

August also knew that his parents were special. His parentsʼ love was too heavy. If it was concentrated on one person, it would instantly take that personʼs life.

”No problem, why do we still need to say these things between you and me?”

”With the relationship between you and me, there is no need for thanks. That is too insincere. It is better to directly talk about benefits! This is more realistic. I think it would be better to send all the talented Mages in your Alvarez Empire to our Fairy Tail for cultivation, in order to strengthen our Fairy Tail Guildʼs influence in the world~”

After hearing Augustʼs words, Evan smiled. He had merely done some things within his ability.

”Hehe, impossible…” August was somewhat speechless. Evan actually wanted him to send all the outstanding children of the western continent into Fairy Tail. This was truly a wonderful idea. When he reached this point, August paused, then continued, ”In short, I came to Fairy Tail Guild this time to tell you one thing. War is about to begin.”
