Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Chapter 377: Fairy Tail’s Biggest Creditor

”Boom!!”

As Irene released towering magic power!

Endless rumbling echoed throughout the Kingdom of Stella…

”What happened?!”

For a moment, all the people of the Kingdom of Stella fell silent. They looked at the glowing ground around them and froze in expression.

The next second…

Whether mountains and rivers, the earth, the sky, or lakes, the ground of the entire Kingdom of Stella lit up with white light. That light shone brightly, directly stunning all the people of the Kingdom of Stella in place.

They could feel the vast and endless magic power, like an ocean, coming from within the ground.

They simply could not understand who exactly could, in such a short instant, cover an entire kingdom with their magic power. Did such a powerful Mage truly exist in this world?! Was this still human?

”What kind of joke is this? There is actually someone in this world who can use Enchantment Magic on an entire kingdom?!”

Animus widened his eyes. He was shocked by the magic Irene was currently using.

Naturally, Ireneʼs aura had always given Animus a mysterious and unfathomable feeling, making Animus unable to accurately distinguish Ireneʼs true identity.

It was only through the powerful dragon power Irene occasionally released, without hiding it in the slightest, that Animus made his judgment, believing Irene to be a terrifying dragon comparable to a Dragon King-level existence like Selene!

However, when Irene used Enchantment Magic on the entire Kingdom of Stella, Animus was completely shocked!

Even throughout the entire history of the dragon race, Animus could be considered a relatively old dragon. Just inside Sonyaʼs body alone, he had already lived for over four hundred years. During these four hundred years, he had seen quite a few Enchanters, but he had never seen a High Enchanter terrifying to Ireneʼs degree…

In other words, even if Irene did not use Dragon Slayer Magic and purely used this Enchantment Magic alone, it would be enough to suppress ordinary dragons, and she could even exchange blows with Dragon King-level existences!

In fact, in the original story, Irene had indeed once used Enchantment Magic to stop the Black Dragon King Acnologia alone, and for a short period of time, exchanged two moves with Acnologia without falling into disadvantage…

She even ultimately used a magic that even Acnologia had never seen before, the World Reconstruction Magic, Universe One. Irene was essentially exploiting a bug. Irene did not use Enchantment Magic on the magic-immune Acnologia, but instead used Enchantment Magic on the ground beneath Acnologiaʼs feet, directly moving the earth away in order to forcibly relocate Acnologia, who was almost completely immune to magic…

And the magic Irene was currently using was precisely a variant of World Reconstruction Magic, Universe One. She simply did not rearrange the order of the Kingdom of Stella, but instead enchanted the entire ground of the Kingdom of Stella with the attribute of floating into the air!

For a moment, accompanied by countless dust and sand, the Kingdom of Stella, known as the Island of Crystals, suddenly rose into the air. The entire island flew up…

”It flew up! The entire kingdom flew up!”

Animus widened his eyes, his gaze filled with terror.

”She lifted an entire kingdom! Is this really something a human, no, is this really something a dragon can do?!”

”May I ask who exactly you are? Why can you master such powerful magic? Are you human, a dragon, or a Dragon Slayer Mage?!”

Animus looked at the Kingdom of Stella slowly flying toward the sky, then looked at Irene and asked with a terrified expression.

After sensing Ireneʼs strength, Animus even suddenly felt some regret in his heart. He had acknowledged Evan as king a little too early. Compared to Evan, the Irene before his eyes clearly had a higher possibility of becoming the king of dragons.

”I am merely an ordinary weak woman who created Dragon Slayer Magic and can transform into a dragon…”

”Of course, if you absolutely must give me a title! Then I am neither human, nor dragon, nor Dragon Slayer Mage…”

”I am a woman from the heavens! A scarlet celestial maiden~”

Irene looked at Animusʼs terrified appearance, raised the corners of her mouth, revealed a breathtakingly beautiful smile, and softly spoke.

”C-Celestial maiden?!”

Animus froze for a moment. He was shocked by Ireneʼs answer. He had never expected Irene to choose a fourth answer from among the three options he gave.

As for the other side, Erza and the others looked at Animus expressionlessly. In Erzaʼs eyes, her mother was the most beautiful and was naturally a celestial maiden from the heavens! As for Laxus and the others, they remained silent and did not dare refute it. Gildartsʼs miserable condition was something everyone in Fairy Tail knew about.

”...”

For a moment, compared to Animus, who looked at Irene in terror, the Mages of Fairy Tail were all much calmer. It could only be said that although Animus the dragon had lived long enough, he had spent most of that time staying within his own little world and was far too narrow-minded. The world he had seen was truly too small compared to the people of Fairy Tail. They had seen Ireneʼs magic many times.

”Ah…”

Laxus yawned, looking completely listless.

He seemed to have long grown used to such scenes. According to his experience, when Irene and Selene clashed, the only thing he could do was stay silent, obediently stand to the side, and pretend he had seen nothing.

As for what would happen afterward, that had nothing to do with them. In any case, if the sky collapsed, someone tall would hold it up!

Moreover, when Irene and Selene came into conflict, with Irene and Seleneʼs terrifying power, in the entire Fairy Tail Guild, the only person who could interfere in their affairs or even stop Irene and Selene was Evan alone.

”Animus, you said that in this country, as long as we took a liking to something, no matter what it was, we could take it away, right?”

”In that case, I now have taken a liking to your country. I have lifted the entire country up, so this entire country belongs to me now, right?”

With a smile on her face, Irene looked kindly at Animus and softly asked.

”Ah, yes, yes, yes…”

”Anything you take a liking to, you may take away~”

”It is the honor of the Kingdom of Stella that you have chosen my country! For this country to have an owner like you is something worth celebrating. Here, on behalf of all citizens of the entire Kingdom of Stella, I offer you the highest respect!!”

At this moment, Animus had also somewhat given up. He only had one thought in his heart now. No matter what Irene wanted, he would satisfy her. The woman before him was absolutely not someone an ordinary dragon like him, who could at most destroy a city with one roar, could afford to provoke.

”Selene, did you hear that? Right now, this country is already my territory. You licentious woman, hurry up and get out of here!”

After obtaining Animusʼs agreement, Irene revealed a sweet smile. Then endless fierce light flashed between her eyes as she coldly ordered Selene.

”What did you say?!”

After hearing Ireneʼs words, a trace of anger flashed through Seleneʼs pupils.

”Boom!!”

Following Seleneʼs rage, the originally dim sky suddenly lit up with waves of platinum-white radiance…

”Whatʼs going on? Why did the world suddenly become so bright?”

”No, wrong, the world didnʼt become bright! Itʼs the moon, the moon is falling from the sky!!”

Animus froze slightly as he looked at the platinum-white light that dispelled the darkness. He wondered where this light that drove away the night came from, until Animus looked up and saw the moon becoming increasingly enormous in his eyes! Animusʼs entire being immediately went wrong…

Animus raised his head and looked at the sky, his whole face changing abruptly. It was not that the moon was becoming larger, but that the moon was getting closer and closer to the world he was in! That was a type of localized spatial magic that could shorten the distance between the Kingdom of Stella and the moon! For a time, the entire Kingdom of Stella became severely detached from the rules of the world of Earth-land. Gravity and tidal phenomena were greatly affected because of Seleneʼs outburst!

Right now, on one side of Animus was the enormous moon, drawing closer and closer to them, emitting platinum-white moonlight that seemed to drape everyone in a pale white veil. On the other side was the Kingdom of Stella flying toward the sky! Faintly, the Kingdom of Stella and the seemingly enlarged moon were confronting each other just like Irene and Selene! And Animus, caught between the two, felt waves of immense pressure.

If so-called Dragon God-level existences were all measured by Irene and Selene as the standard, and all Dragon Gods were beings capable of enchanting and destroying continents and shortening the distance between the moon and the world of Earth-land at this level!

Then without a doubt, the dragons at the level of the Five Dragon Gods all possessed the ability to destroy the world, or at least the terrifying, immense power sufficient to destroy human civilization. Without question, they stood at the peak of individual mighty power in the world of Earth-land…

At the same time…

Above the Kingdom of Stella ruled by Animus!

”The moon! The moon is falling!”

”Run quickly!!”

”Run where?! Our entire country is flying, already flying into midair, where else can we go?”

”Is this the end of the world?”

”Damn it, why did I have to encounter this phenomenon precisely when I came to the Kingdom of Stella for tourism?!”

At this moment, all the citizens of the Kingdom of Stella were completely stunned.

They were shocked by the fact that the Kingdom of Stella they lived in had transformed into a floating island and was flying toward the sky.

They were also shocked by the moon that had originally hung high in the sky, unchanging through the ages, suddenly falling toward the world of Earth-land. These two events that were rare even once in a century happening together created terrifying pressure in peopleʼs hearts, making all the citizens of the kingdom not dare to breathe loudly. Everyone honestly watched everything before their eyes and waited for the so-called end of the world.

At this time, the enormous difference became apparent. If these events currently happening in the Kingdom of Stella had happened in Magnolia Town instead, the townspeople would not panic at all and would simply continue doing whatever they were doing…

There were even some youths born in Magnolia Town after Irene and Selene joined Fairy Tail Guild. They even believed that the world itself should be like this. If one day the town no longer had earthquakes, the moon no longer suddenly fell from the sky, and they could no longer find meteorite fragments on the back mountain outside Magnolia Town, they would instead feel shocked, even uneasy. This was probably the so-called difference in perception, right?!

”My King, what should we do now?”

Animus looked at Evan beside him and asked aloud.

”Wait…”

After glancing at Animus beside him, Evan stood with his hands behind his back and calmly said one word.

”Wait?!”

Animus froze for a moment, seemingly unable to understand what Evan meant by this wait.

”Do not panic! Keep waiting. Once Irene and Selene are tired, everything will end!”

After hearing Animusʼs words, Evan lightly shook his head. Regarding the current situation, apart from waiting, he had no better solution.

As for taking action to stop Irene and Seleneʼs conflict, that was not something the current Evan could accomplish. After all, whether it was Irene or Selene, neither was a woman Evan could easily afford to offend.

Irene was because Evan could not bear to offend her. As for Selene…

Selene was someone who repaid every grudge. Evan was afraid that if he offended Selene today, Selene would find the right opportunity tomorrow to ambush him, carry him back to Black Night Mountain, and make younger brothers and sisters for Kurnugi.

”Uh…”

After hearing Evanʼs words, Animus fell silent. Since Evan had already spoken, he had nothing else to say.

After all, compared to Evan, he even more so could not afford to offend these two women before him.

As for the citizens of the Kingdom of Stella, Animus as king, and Evan as the officially selected strongest Mage on the continent, could only say sorry to everyone. He would guarantee their safety! As for the terrifying experience the citizens of the Kingdom of Stella and the foreign tourists visiting the Kingdom of Stella encountered today, he could only say to these citizens, ”Just treat it as a dream!”

In fact, countless citizens really did treat todayʼs experience as a dream. It was just that even after waking up for a long time, they still did not dare move.

The next day…

Kingdom of Fiore, Magnolia Town, Fairy Tail Guild.

”Master, Master, look quickly!”

”The country called the Kingdom of Stella that Evan and the others went to is in the newspaper~”

”I heard that last night, the Kingdom of Stella caused a huge, earth-shaking incident…”

Just as Makarov was worried after learning that Evan and the others had gone to the Kingdom of Stella, Macao held this morningʼs daily issue of the magic magazine and rapidly ran toward Makarov, who was sitting at the bar inside the guild.

”The Kingdom of Stella is actually in the newspaper? And precisely when Evan, Irene, and Selene, the three of them went to the Kingdom of Stella, a huge piece of news appeared in the paper.”

”Damn it! I truly hope this matter has nothing to do with Evan and the others…”

Makarov tightly frowned. When he heard Macao say that the Kingdom of Stella was in the newspaper, even the cup he was originally holding trembled back and forth in his hand. He was afraid that the Kingdom of Stella appearing in the newspaper had something to do with Evan and the others!

Most importantly, at this moment, there was a voice inside Makarovʼs heart telling him that the enormous incident that happened in the Kingdom of Stella last night truly was related to Evan and the others.

”Let me see…”

Makarov picked up his cup and calmly took a sip of tea, slowly suppressing the shock in his heart. Then, with both hands trembling, he received the newspaper from Macao.

At this moment, while receiving the newspaper from Macao, Makarov silently prayed in his heart. He prayed that the super big news that happened in the Kingdom of Stella absolutely, absolutely had nothing to do with Evan, Irene, and Selene, and absolutely had nothing to do with Fairy Tail!

”Hehe, not necessarily. In this world, not all big news is related to our Fairy Tail!”

”This old man refuses to believe it. Could every bad thing in this world really end up related to our Fairy Tail?!”

Makarov frowned. He refused to believe that the Mages of Fairy Tail could really cause trouble everywhere for him!

Besides, even if the Mages of Fairy Tail Guild were all troublemakers, so what? The Mages of Fairy Tail Guild were not a demolition office. It could not be possible that they went out for tourism and somehow demolished someone elseʼs kingdom, right?!

”Shocking! The Kingdom of Stella suddenly flew up into the sky!”

”Shocking! The moon suddenly fell, and the world seemed to face the end…”

Thinking this, Makarov took a deep breath and opened the newspaper before him. Then he was shocked by the two enormous headlines on the newspaper. Indeed, their Fairy Tail Guild had not demolished someone elseʼs kingdom. The Mages of Fairy Tail Guild had directly sent someone elseʼs kingdom into the sky! This was much more impressive than demolishing it~

”Hehe…”

In response, Makarov merely smiled silently as though he had lost all hope in life.

”This definitely has something to do with Irene and Selene, right?!”

Looking at the newspaper in his hand, Makarovʼs entire being went numb.

Putting aside the matter of the entire Kingdom of Stella flying up from the ground, since there were many people capable of doing such a thing! There were many possibilities regarding this matter. It was not necessarily Irene who did it. It could also have been… Evan who did it!

However, pulling the moon down from outer space was definitely Seleneʼs doing!

Other than Selene, who mastered dimensional spatial magic, no one else should be able to do that!

After all, shortening the distance between the moon and the world of Earth-land by opening an enormous spatial gate, wasnʼt that exactly Seleneʼs specialty?!

And once it was confirmed that the moon was pulled down by Selene, then it became very clear who threw the Kingdom of Stella into the sky. Within Fairy Tail, the only person who dared directly confront Selene head-on was Irene alone…

Therefore, in conclusion, the person who lifted the entire Kingdom of Stella and threw it into the sky should be none other than Irene…

”Using someone elseʼs country to smash toward the moon or something is fundamentally abnormal!”

Makarov held his head, his expression pained.

”My heart, my heart is starting to hurt…”

As Makarov spoke, he clutched his chest.

”Rumble…”

Just as Makarov held his heart with a face full of pain, accompanied by a rumbling sound, a battleship slowly stopped above Fairy Tail Guild. That battleship belonged to none other than Fairy Tailʼs second Guild Master, Precht, who had enthusiastically sponsored it.

”Snap~”

Immediately afterward, accompanied by a gust of strong wind, the doors of Fairy Tail Guild were gently pushed open.

Evan, Irene, Selene, together with Animus, entered Fairy Tail Guild like a victorious army returning in triumph.

”Evan, that young girl wearing a crown is?”

Makarov pointed at Sonya, who wore a crown, namely Animus, and frowned.

”Oh! You mean Animus! He is the king of the Kingdom of Stella~”

After hearing Makarovʼs words, Evan smiled slightly.

”Itʼs over! The biggest creditor of Fairy Tail Guild in the world of Earth-land has come to Fairy Tail to collect debts.”

Hearing this, Makarovʼs eyes twitched slightly, and his face turned ashen.
