My Youth Began With Him

Their song, You’re the Most Beautiful, played in the background.

“I couldn’t sleep because I was so excited about our date. I bought you 12 roses, each one just as beautiful as you are. Your beauty takes my breath away, and I can’t help but sink into your embrace. Baby, I fell so hard for you, and I’ve never regretted it even once.”

The song echoed in the glass room; Huo Mian looked at the roses all around her, and wearing the hair clips on her head, she felt like she was the luckiest person in the world.

The fact that no one else in C City had roses to buy wasn’t a big deal, but Huo Mian’s post on WeChat was quickly spread like wildfire and soon, the entire city found out.

That evening, media outlets began uploading articles…

Either way, Qin Chu and Huo Mian became a super hot topic of discussion that evening.

Huo Mian didn’t know what was happening until she looked at her phone after dinner, while she and Qin Chu were on their way home. She even received a bunch of comments from random fans, leaving her at a loss for words.

-Imperial Star Headquarters –

It wasn’t Su Yu’s intention to work overtime, but he had back to back meetings; it was almost 7 PM when he left the company. It was too late so he didn’t pick up the twins; after sending a WeChat message to Pudding, he and An drove off.

Valentine’s Day was really hard on a single guy like him. Everyone he knew, even his parents, had Valentine’s Day plans.

He opened WeChat; everyone was flaunting their love – Wei Liao and Jiang Xiaowei, Gao Ran and Zhu Lingling, Ni Yang and Chen Jie, Tang Chuan and Qin Ning, Qin Chu and Huo Mian…

What the f*ck?

“President Su, are you in a bad mood?” An asked, noticing his boss’s emotionless face.

“I want a drink, but this sucks… I don’t have anyone to drink with… Wei Liao’s with his wife and Tang Chuan’s in the States with Qin Ning.”

“President Su, I can drink with you,” An said quietly.

“Who’s going to protect me if we’re both drunk?” Su Yu joked on purpose.

An:

“I’m kidding! Come on, it’s been a long day, let’s go and get a drink.” Su Yu then drove to the closest nightclub, The Emperor, and parked his car outside.

After Rick left, Seductive Fox quickly lost business because Tang Chuan didn’t really put his heart into managing the place. Therefore, all the wealthy men in C City frequented The Emperor, which was a newly opened establishment in the city.

It was Su Yu’s first time here, but everyone seemed to know who he was.

“Young Master Su, please come inside…” the manager immediately showed Su Yu and An in.
