My Youth Began With Him

The truth was, Huo Mian was just kidding back then, but her joke became reality…

She originally thought that she and Qin Chu would be going alone, but not only did Huo Mian see Zhixin at the airport, she also saw a team of 8, consisting of photographers, stylists, and assistants.

There were also 4 bodyguards, so including her, 15 people were going to the Maldives this time around.

Mr. Moneybags Qin sure was generous…

He chartered a plane to X City, and then another from X city directly to Malé, the capital of the Maldives.

After they arrived at Malé, they would take another plane to Paradise Island. The total travel time was 11 hours, a shockingly exhausting journey indeed.

The good thing was, the plane was luxurious, and they all sat in giant sofas that they could lie down on, so it was really comfortable and wasn’t as tiring.

It was Zhixin’s first time abroad, so he was really excited as well.

“Sis… are the Maldives in every woman’s heart?” Zhixin playfully asked Huo Mian as he sat across from her on the plane.

“I suppose so… who wouldn’t like a romantic place like the Maldives?”

Huo Mian liked the ocean, but she never even dreamed of going to a human paradise like the Maldives.

C City was a coastal city, but it was an inland sea, so the seawater was grey, unlike the blue skies and light blue waters that one would see on a phone screensaver. Therefore, every woman on this earth wanted to come to an iconic island like the Maldives.

However, because the trip there was long and costly, Huo Mian never even dreamt of coming.

Qin Chu had mentioned it before, but they didn’t have the time to go; they’ve both been so busy.

This time, Qin Chu’s sudden decision to leave without planning was a pleasant surprise for Huo Mian.

She bought into all the surprises Mr. Qin gave her because he knew her too well.

The truth was, Qin Chu’s decision wasn’t that sudden. After they got married, they didn’t get to take wedding photos or hold a wedding, so he always felt a hint of regret. Huo Mian had been worried about babies recently and ended up putting herself through pain just to get tested, causing him to feel heartbroken.

Therefore, in order to alleviate her pressure and stop her from thinking too much, as well as help Zhixin forget about his breakup, Qin Chu finally decided to put aside work for 5 days, so they could go on this trip.

“Everyone’s been saying that because of rising sea levels, the Maldives will sink in 50 years… I don’t know if it’s true, but I’m glad I get to come here before I die, I have no regrets,” Zhixin exclaimed.

“Haha, you’re only 19, okay? Others will think that you’re an old man if you say stuff like that.”

Huo Mian drank her juice as she looked at her brother, who was sitting across from her.

Qin Chu was busy throughout the flight; they didn’t have internet, but he could use his laptop.

He saved the documents he needed to go through before he left, while Huo Mian and Zhixin occasionally chatted.

When it was time to eat, they enjoyed a delicate feast.

After multiple flights, they finally arrived at the Maldives.

Paradise Island was the most popular island, because it was clean, pretty, and had a beautiful name.

Qin Chu booked rooms for 4 days and 3 nights, and they would be spending the rest of their trip on this island.

As soon as they stepped onto the island…

Everyone gasped in wonderment…

Except for Qin Chu, of course. He was rarely over-excited about anything.

“This place is so beautiful, oh my god… I didn’t know an ocean like this existed,” Zhixin exclaimed.

“I heard the map Peach Beach in Mario Kart was designed after this place!” Huo Mian said.

There’s a popular internet lingo, ‘God created the Maldives with a drop of his tears’.

Huo Mian’s intellect allowed her to describe such a poetic place into layman terms.
