My Youth Began With Him

“Oh… I was bitten by a dog, am I supposed to bite back?” Huo Mian smiled.

“You… always have your reasons.”

“I just didn’t think it was necessary… They were just caught in the heat of the moment… Plus, it was a battle between women. If you stepped up, others would say that you’re nosy and not magnanimous… I, on the other hand, am the young madam of the Qin Family, of course I wouldn’t stoop down to their level. There’s no way I would fight them like a shrew, it would lower my status. After all, I’m a doctor now.”

“Fine, Dr. Huo, you win.”

Qin Chu looked at Huo Mian lovingly…

“Does your hand still hurt?”

“Nope… it’s just a small scratch, I’ll dab some iodine on it once we get home.”

“Okay.”

As soon as he saw Huo Mian get hurt, he immediately ended his conversation with Mayor Song about the allocated land.

That’s how important Huo Mian was to him – he was willing to put everything aside, even his career…

The two women were good friends of Song Yishi.

They used to study in Italy together, so they were really close.

Both of them came back to China a few years earlier than Song Yishi, and they were very arrogant and domineering people.

– Inside the hotel lounge –

“Don’t purposely pick on Huo Mian again, she’s better than you think, neither of you is a match for her,” Song Yishi said as she looked at them.

“Yishi… we were just trying to complain about the unfairness… Qin Chu’s the only man you ever liked, why did she get early access? You met Qin Chu first, back when you guys were 8 years old. Plus, you know how much Mrs. Qin likes you, and how much your dad helped out the Qin Family throughout these years. Shouldn’t you two be together?”

“I… guess I’m just not lucky enough.”

Song Yishi was somewhat disappointed…

“Luck isn’t a factor here, you can’t give up that easily. If you like him, steal him… That woman has nothing, and she likes to act all high and mighty. I’ve had enough of her for some time now. Yishi… if one day you can steal Qin Chu from her, she’ll be left dumbfounded, and we could get back at her.”

“No one is stealing anyone, don’t say that… Anyways, you guys should go to the hospital to get your wounds checked.”

– After the party –

The two women left the hotel in a Maserati…

Su Yu drove his black Lamborghini and followed after them…

Just now, they had targeted Huo Mian on purpose and the latter, in consideration of her status, didn’t stoop down to their level.

However, that didn’t mean that he would swallow his anger…

Even now, when he thought of the wound on Huo Mian’s hand, Su Yu felt like his heart was closing up and he couldn’t breathe…

The Maserati stopped at a red light at the intersection.

The Lamborghini behind it suddenly crashed into it…

Sending it straight to the sidewalk off to the side of the road…

The Maserati almost flipped over…

The two women in the car shrieked in fear…

Su Yu got off the car and walked up to them. Then, he said coldly, “I’m really sorry, my brakes weren’t working…”

Upon seeing that it was Su Yu who crashed into them, the two women immediately swallowed the curse words that were about to come out of their mouths…

Bystanders, without knowing what had happened, called the police.

After the traffic police arrived, they politely greeted Su Yu…

“Young Master Su, are you alright?”

The captain of the traffic police squad bowed down at him…

“I’m fine… I didn’t step on my brakes in time… and crashed into their car.”

“I’m glad you’re okay.”

The captain was scared shitless; if something were to happen to Su Yu, Grandpa Su might light this city up in flames…

Su Yu was the only child of the family for this generation…

“I’m in a hurry, so I’ll be going now. You guys assess the damages, and just send whatever amount I need to pay in compensation to Imperial Star.”

Then, Su Yu got on his car and drove off…

The women’s legs were numb … and they were still recovering from the fright.

The fact was, the last person to offend in C City would be Su Yu, or else you wouldn’t even know how you died.

Su Yu crashing his Lamborghini into the socialites’ car quickly spread in their circle…

As soon as Wei Liao and Jiang Xiaowei found out, the latter immediately notified Huo Mian.

Huo Mian had just finished cleaning up her wound and was sitting on the bed when she received Jiang Xiaowei’s WeChat message…

Qin Chu was showering…

“Young Master Su sought revenge on the socialites because of you, didn’t he?”

“What happened?” Huo Mian had no idea what was going on.
