Global Lords: I Have Information System

This Advanced Book really came at just the right time.

It also put Zong Shen in a pretty good mood.

So this is what it means to add blossoms to brocade.

Happily stowing away the Advanced Book, the next item he took out was a large Magic Disc.

So far, he knew of two types of Magic Discs.

They were the palm-sized single-user Magic Disc and the washbasin-sized large Magic Disc.

Both were powered either by Mana or by Magic Energy Crystal.

Some of the smaller Magic Discs could only be used once; when their stored Magic Power was exhausted, the Magic Patterns would be damaged, whereas others could be used repeatedly.

For example, Zong Shen’s [Blazing Shield] Magic Disc was a small reusable Magic Disc.

Large Magic Discs generally weren’t suited for carrying around, because starting and stopping their functions both took Time, and their consumption was high.

The first large Magic Disc Zong Shen obtained came from the abandoned Dragon Nest on Lake Heart Island.

Back then it bought him and Jiang Yi quite a bit of Time to clear out the Water Element on the island.

That was the [Mobile Magical Array (Damaged)]!

That was a standard large Magic Disc.

It was just damaged, that’s all.

In terms of power supply, it needed Magic Energy Crystal for charging.

A large Magic Disc like this could remain activated long-term, as long as it was supplied with Magic Energy stably.

Thinking of this, Zong Shen’s gaze toward the Magic Disc in his hand grew even more fervent.

The Magic Disc in his hands was ancient copper in color throughout.

Its surface bore intricate Magic Patterns, forming One silver secret silver conduit after another; a ring of Refined Gold was inlaid along the edge, and the whole Magic Disc also used other materials that Zong Shen couldn’t distinguish with the naked eye.

The disc was quite thick, about twenty-five centimeters, and there was a square recess on the back. Based on his past experience, he could conclude that this recess was for inserting Magic Energy Crystal.

To put it plainly, that was a charging port.

Don’t be fooled by the Magic Disc being only washbasin-sized—it must weigh at least a hundred to two hundred jin.

But for Zong Shen, that bit of weight didn’t count for much.

His current Strength level could practically be measured in ”tons.”

And his Attributes had risen evenly and smoothly; he could perfectly control his Strength, without it causing any trouble in his daily life.

In the center of the Magic Disc was a round transparent bead. Under the dim Moonlight veiled by clouds, Zong Shen could even vaguely see his own reflection inside the bead.

”Looks like there’s something to it!”

”Judging by the name, this thing seems like it can create illusions?”

”Let me take a look...”

Zong Shen muttered under his breath.

He raised the Magic Disc up with his Two-Handed grip, his gaze fixed intently on it.

[Large Illusion Projection Magic Disc (Purple)]

[Quality: Rare Level]

[Coverage Range: radius 200 meters]

[Effect: Illusion Projection (stroke the Tier Four Illusion Pearl in the center of the Magic Disc, then use Intention to import Illusion Realm scenes into the Illusion Pearl; can store up to five different illusion scenes. Erasing old scenes and importing new scenes requires a Cooling Time of 10 minutes. After selecting a scene for projection, light-and-shadow illusions are constructed, consuming 0.5 Magic Energy per minute)]

[Requires Magic Energy Crystal for charging]

[From activation to completed projection, the light-and-shadow illusion requires 3 minutes of construction Time]

[Magic Energy: 0/5500]

[Durability: 500]

[Every time Magic Energy consumption accumulates to 5500 points, Durability will decrease by 5 points]

(A reusable Illusion Magic Disc capable of long-term projection of light-and-shadow illusions. These illusions can be seen through by Tier Four Eye of True Sight and Detection Magic, and are suitable for light-and-shadow camouflage.)

As expected, the function of this Magic Disc was just as its name suggested: it was used to create illusions.

And it could stay activated long-term.

It only consumed 0.5 Magic Energy per minute—so 30 points per hour, and 720 points per day.

It could store 5500 Magic Energy in a single charge, enough for over a week of continuous use.

During charging, the light-and-shadow would disappear for three minutes.

In addition, it could store five scenes at once, and importing new scenes had a Cooling Time of ten minutes. Judging from its Durability, it could probably be used continuously for nearly two years.

This kind of function was very suitable for masking the entrance to the Mine.

That was also one of Zong Shen’s concerns.

With the Challenge Period about to end, Lords would definitely start exploring everywhere.

At that time, the chance of the Mine being exposed would increase greatly.

This [Large Illusion Magic Disc] could construct false light-and-shadow to cover up the existence of the Mine.

Of course, the Mine problem couldn’t be solved by just One Magic Disc.

Whether it was Burden-Bearer Mecha going in and out loaded with ore, or supplies being transported to the Mine, there was always a chance of exposure.

And illusions had no substance, nor did they act on the Spirit; some curious Lords were very likely to notice something wrong.

Therefore, this Magic Disc could only serve as a supplementary means, like a fig leaf over the problem—but having it was still much better than not having it.

For now, he could use light-and-shadow illusions combined with increasing garrison forces to ensure the Mine’s safety for the next One to two months.

Furthermore, as more and more Territory Heroic Level talents appeared, he could also dispatch Heroes to use Storage Grid to carry the ore, which would somewhat reduce the risk of exposure.

But to completely solve this issue, Zong Shen still needed to gradually expand the Territory, and at the same Time establish defensive lines outside the Mine, directly asserting sovereignty through action.

When Zong Shen saw this Magic Disc, he immediately had a clear idea of how to use it.

After putting the Magic Disc away, the next thing Zong Shen took out was a Potion.
