Global Lords: I Have Information System

”I should rest.”

”Now that Azshara’s land has lost the rooting of the World Tree, I need to absorb the strength of the Moonlight to grow stronger.”

The Ancient Tree of Knowledge continued, then closed its eyes directly.

Salome Lin Yu said nothing more, lowered her head, and gently stroked the tree trunk once again.

After a few seconds of silence, she turned around and walked back.

Zong Shen listened to their exchange, his mind thoughtful.

The Ancient Tree of Knowledge seemed to know something about the time before the Era of the End.

But that was normal, after all, even a Juvenile Knowledge Ancient Tree had grown for over a hundred years; they did not have a naive growth period like humans or other creatures.

After a Tree Spirit is planted and awakens spirituality, it gains part of the heritage from the World Tree.

It also possesses high wisdom and comprehension ability.

Older Ancient Trees of Knowledge are typically sages within an Elf Race group.

Zong Shen said nothing, just watched silently as if nothing had happened.

Salome Lin Yu quickly returned to her original position, bowed to Zong Shen again, and then nimbly jumped onto the back of the Burden Bearer’s cargo hold.

At this time, Zong Shen just waved his hand and turned to head towards the Lord’s Fortress.

Marie looked back at the cargo hold, confirming the two were seated stably, then drove the Burden-Bearer Mecha toward the living area in the east.

Behind her, the Earth Shaker Tank also started up, its tracks rumbling as it left the central district together with the Burden-Bearer Mecha.

The entire central area returned to quietness, silver Moonlight freely sprinkled on the ground.

It draped a silver veil equally over all things in the world.

No night in this Otherworld is more beautiful than this.

However, Zong Shen didn’t feel like admiring the scenery, he walked straight through the city gate into the Lord’s Fortress, sitting at the long table in the dining hall.

Just now he was delayed for a while, and there’s still more than half an hour left until the exchange ends.

He still has many things to do.

At this moment, his points balance is: 607189!

”Worrisome...”

”Even after spending, there are still 600,000 points left!”

He no longer has any attachment to this round of points exchange.

The Defense Arrow Towers he was eager to exchange before have already been mostly redeemed.

As for the Wheel of Fortune, he tried ten consecutive draws in each bracket, making it his most extravagant draw since his arrival.

There were no items in the [Resource Materials] and [Support Items] that he wanted to exchange.

After all, there will be another exchange shop opening after the challenge ends.

Zong Shen certainly wouldn’t just spend points on unnecessary things for the sake of consuming points.

When the next round of exchange shops opens, these points can still be used.

After seriously considering it for a while, he decided to exchange for some more Defense Arrow Towers.

Because the categories available for exchange in the next round likely won’t include [Building Blueprint].

Better to exchange more now while he can.

The Defense Arrow Towers may seem unnoticed in the territory, but they are actually the most reliable backbone within it, important for warding off attacks from Lords, and future attacks from Indigenous People and other creatures.

Zong Shen had a strong premonition that the stronger the defense in the territory, the more assured they would be when facing any calamity or crisis in the future!

No one would want their homeland defenseless, laid bare like a naked maiden.

With this in mind, he reopened the [Building Blueprint] and selected [Defense Blueprint].

He then exchanged for: [Tower of Chaos ×12], [Magic Energy Arrow Tower ×12], [Giant Crossbow Tower ×8], [Moon Blade Tower ×8], [Tower of Thunder ×8], [Holy Light Tower ×4], [Necromancer Tower ×4].

Apart from these ”standard” within the territory, Zong Shen also exchanged for the Orc race’s [Armored Arrow Tower], which prioritizes defense over offense!

One could say without exaggeration that it’s possibly the ”hardest” tower among all arrow towers.

Its Durability Value even surpasses that of a same-tier city wall, with ludicrously high Armor Value, and the unique ”Array Defense” effect. If there’s an abundance of points, some can be redeemed to supplement the territory’s Defense Tower matrix, enhancing its overall defensive capability.

The greatest advantage of the [Armored Arrow Tower] is perhaps its resilience!

Zong Shen went ahead and exchanged for 16 of them, ensuring that four could be placed in each of the four directions.

Once the number of adjacent same-tier [Armored Arrow Towers] reaches four, it will trigger the first-tier effect of [Array Defense].

This batch of Defense Arrow Towers numbers seventy-two in total, all of which he exchanged at Tier Four.

Since he has the means to exchange for high-tier Defense Towers, Zong Shen finds no need to redeem lower-tier ones.

After all, lower-tier Defense Towers can often be obtained through low-tier treasure chests.

After this exchange, he used up another 252,000 points.

Now his points balance stands at 355,189.

He doesn’t intend to spend these remaining three hundred thousand points right now.

These points will be saved for the next exchange after the challenge concludes.

If the [Settler Recruitment] and [Special Items] categories appear by then, it would be amazing.

Having these points left allows Zong Shen to stay both offensive and defensive.

After finishing the exchange, he closed the exchange options.

All the Defense Arrow Tower blueprints he redeemed have been automatically stored in the storage grid and stacked accordingly.

This points exchange has now reached a conclusion.

The Heat Wave Challenge is also approaching its end, with only more than ten hours until the final day of the challenge period starts. It’s unclear whether the Lord System will challenge them.

In these past two days of Flame Demon Boss battle, the Lord System’s wool has been almost plucked bare by him.

With his accumulated arsenal, he played all sorts of ingenious moves and gained a massive amount of points.

Luckily, the Lord System didn’t deny the points he earned.

However, Zong Shen feels certain there will be new changes tomorrow.

But only when the announcement comes will he have a definite conclusion.
