Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 524: Chapter 372: New Business Plan, Little Boy

The food reserves within the territory are still quite sufficient at the moment.

It’s enough to feed everyone within the territory, including the Kobolds, for several months.

This includes supplies gathered by Marie from Sitanos Village and those sent back by Tiezhu from Dinan Village.

Additionally, there are the military rations looted from the secret supply point at the Calamity Raven Church before.

However, once Frosty Winter arrives, food will inevitably become a hot commodity.

The specific details of the new challenge are still unknown, but if the new challenge also restricts the actions of the Lords, a significant number of Lords might find themselves in a state of food shortage.

Especially at this stage, most Lords cannot achieve self-sufficiency.

They mainly rely on hunting or purchasing food from Indigenous People as well as from the Market to meet food requirements.

Native Forces are a crucial and stable source for Lords to obtain food.

Once the new challenge begins, there’s no ruling out the possibility of an interruption.

Therefore, as much food as possible still needs to be stocked up.

Moreover, the territory now has an Ice Cellar version of Frost Raven, which can greatly extend the food preservation period.

Even if it’s not needed during the new challenge period, it can be stored as a food reserve for the territory.

This way, even if the population of the territory increases, it can be dealt with calmly.

Baron Bezos heard this and lowered his head, pondering for a while.

”Cold-resistant materials...”

”These should be quite scarce.”

”But I think there should still be some in the warehouse.”

”As for food, that’s easy to solve.”

”If you want military rations, there’s no issue.”

”I can provide you with 12,000 portions of military rations.”

”However, these military rations aren’t particularly tasty; they are almost devoid of moisture to extend storage period.”

”Each portion consists of one piece of jerky and one piece of bread.”

”As for other ordinary foods, it’s easy to procure.”

”I will arrange this soon.”

”The list can be organized by afternoon.”

”In terms of price, you don’t need to worry.”

”Since these are Bang City’s reserve supplies, I’ll pay from my private funds to avoid deficits.”

Baron Bezos carefully thought this out before speaking.

12,000 portions of military rations is no small amount; one portion per meal could sustain an army of 2,000 for two full days.

If rationed a bit, with two meals a day, or if the jerky and bread are boiled into mush, it could last even longer.

”Thank you very much, Lord Bezos.”

”I entrust this to you.”

”You’ve already helped me greatly.”

”I will handle these supplies myself.”

Baron Bezos heard Zong Shen’s words, didn’t respond, just smiled.

”These are no big issues.”

”I’ve already dispatched a squadron of Bang City Army and Light Cavalry riders.”

”They will roam around the streets near Evans Manor under the guise of patrolling.”

”This is a magic whistle, a simple little gadget.”

”Please blow it if there’s danger.”

”The Bang City Army outside will receive the signal.”

”They’ll rush into the manor within minutes.”

Bezos took out a silver-colored round magic whistle and handed it to Zong Shen.

Zong Shen accepted the magic whistle, nodding solemnly.

At this time, the Immortal Gun Cavalry and Hoy had all been awakened by Wenresa.

They all gathered outside the castle in full gear.

Baron Bezos instructed the butler to notify those servants to lead the mounts from the stables.

The two exchanged a few more words, and once Pigsy, Black Panther, and those Andalusian Warhorses were led over, Zong Shen took his leave with Baron Bezos.

Pigsy, upon seeing Zong Shen, ran over excitedly, nudging Zong Shen’s hand with its large nose.

After everyone mounted their rides, they had only walked a few steps.

Baron Bezos’s voice sounded from behind.

”Brother Zong Shen...”

”How long do you plan to stay in Bang City?”

Zong Shen turned around at this.

”I have to depart for the return trip before midnight tonight.”

”The settlement needs me.”

Bezos’s face showed a regretful expression.

”That’s really too bad.”

”I received word that my eldest son Harold will return to Bang City early tomorrow morning.”

”Two days ago, the Giant City Expedition Army dispatched a Dragon Eagle Knight to call for help.”

”He then took Bang City Light Cavalry riders to Odu Village for support.”

”He’s slightly older than you; I think you could become good friends.”

Zong Shen, having previously impersonated Boss Bang’s support team, felt a bit uneasy hearing Bezos say this.

He nodded again with a regretful tone and said:

”That is really unfortunate.”

”If there’s a chance in the future, I will definitely visit Mr. Harold.”

”I’m sure we’ll get along well.”

”Lord Bezos, time is precious right now. After the noon appointment, I’ll come find you.”

Zong Shen waved at Bezos, then rode Pigsy, leading his warriors towards the entrance of the Central District.

Baron Bezos didn’t say much either; he waved his hand as well, watching Zong Shen’s departure.

He began to instruct the butler to handle the material affairs.

After Zong Shen and his team left the Central District.

They casually picked a direction and walked into the street closest to them.

The entire street was crowded with pedestrians.

To avoid being discovered by other Lords, Zong Shen replaced his externally displayed name information with Ma Huateng 1988818.

This was a temporary modification made by the Guide Module with a bit of minor authority.
