Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 503: Chapter 365: Heading to the Central District, Kitchen God Plan

Due to the terrain inside the city, Zong Shen can get a rough glimpse of some parts of the castle from here.

This castle is composed of several sections.

Strictly speaking, the nature of the castle is not like a manor.

This is an authentic defensive structure.

Its main section is located in the center, a five-story square building with a double-sloped roof on top.

One can see round windows aligned neatly.

The building is constructed with pale yellow stone bricks, and the sloped roof is tiled with orange-red shingles.

There are six domed towers in total in four directions, connected to the building with varying heights, giving a sense of depth.

Further out is a battlement wall surrounding the main castle; this is the castle’s wall.

The width of each battlement is about ten meters, capable of stationing soldiers and placing some defensive machinery on top.

Inside the battlement, passages are connected, with gates on all four sides.

All those gates are heavy metal rune gates, normally hoisted with winches and thick chains.

In wartime, just turn the winch to quickly lower the gates.

This castle occupies the most central position in the central region,

compared to those European castles on Earth, the scale of this castle can only be considered medium to small.

But even so, its land area reaches several million square meters.

It occupies at least more than three hundred hectares of land.

And the entire central region isn’t small either.

According to the strategy guide’s indication, this area is 8.76 square kilometers.

It includes forests, grasslands, and even a small bay lake.

It’s like a green gemstone embedded within Bang City.

The entire Bang City was developed gradually, expanding around the central area.

Nearby the castle, the lights are bright, especially on the battlements, where magic energy lamps illuminate all directions.

In the area outside the castle, within the central region, there seem to be patrols by the Bang City Army holding torches.

From Zong Shen’s perspective, it’s like a line composed of twinkling fire lights.

Now Zong Shen and the castle are too far apart to make out any finer details.

Only some vague situations can be seen.

Compared to the central area’s castle, Evans’ manor pales in comparison.

”Wow, each one is more extravagant than the last.”

”This central area is even more exaggerated, with a castle and a small park.”

”And that castle, though it’s just a small one, is far superior to our Lord’s Small Tower.”

Zong Shen admired enviously, wondering how many levels the Lord’s Courtyard in his territory, also known as the City Lord’s Mansion, would need to ascend to become such an imposing castle.

According to the upgrade marks with each level of the City Lord’s Mansion, Zong Shen feels there might still be a chance to upgrade it to a castle.

As the City Lord’s Mansion upgrades, the initial Lord’s Hut gradually turned into a three-story Lord’s Small Tower.

The two-meter-high bluestone walls also became three meters high bluestone walls.

The occupied area is also gradually expanding, and the increasing area of the Lord’s Courtyard does not affect the surrounding buildings; the overall land only stretches accordingly.

This involves the profoundly deep Space Laws, presumably the power of the Lord System.

If this trend continues and the City Lord’s Mansion can be upgraded to quite a high level.

There might actually be a possibility to transform the Lord’s Courtyard into a castle.

Seeing Zong Shen’s admiration for the central castle of Boss Bang.

Wenresa suddenly leaned her head on his shoulder and said softly through her battle helmet.

”This kind of castle is nothing special.”

”Once upon a time, the ancient Human Race forces even built magnificent Floating Cities.”

”And the Elf Race’s Celestial Tree City.”

”The goblins’ Mobile Fortress.”

”The Dwarf Race’s Black Iron Fortress.”

”The Orc’s Ironthorn Castle.”

”Some Burrowing Races even built massive Underground Cities, like Dark City.”

”These were all unique and powerful Giant Cities of their time.”

”There were also majestic buildings and incredible plans.”

”Such as the Extraordinary Mage Tower, the Celestial Exploration Project, Abyss Passage...”

After seeing this castle, Wenresa seemed to recall situations from more than ten thousand years ago.

Spouting a long list of things and names that Zong Shen found incredible.

More than ten thousand years ago, the continent, without having faced the Dimensional War, seemed to be more exciting and powerful than the current continent.

Otherwise, it wouldn’t have left so many relics and ancient powers behind.

Zong Shen and his companions strolled through the streets of Bang City.

The closer they got to the central region, the more spacious and tidy the streets became.

In all fairness, Boss Bang was commendable.

At least every street in Bang City was very clean, and there was no peculiar smell in the air.

The criteria for assessing a Bang City’s level of development are not just about population, economy, military strength, and other common factors.

The sanitation system is also an important aspect and standard.

A Bang City with tens of thousands of people, sanitation is one of the major aspects related to people’s livelihood.

If Bang City lacked some measures and steps, given the indigenous people’s generally low moral standards in this world, they would wantonly relieve themselves anywhere, making the entire city foul-smelling.

This situation can be imagined by referencing those medieval European cities on Earth.

Including the current villages, it’s still the same.

Take Odu Village, for example, the main roads in the village are fairly decent, after all, the village has communal toilets.
