Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world

Hearing his confession, Eira smiled in her heart.

Brandon’s voice came slower after that, like he was afraid of how each word might sound. ”I know... I know it might seem strange. I tried not to, Eira.”

”But Florence she’s... kind, strong, and so graceful in everything she does. Being around her, I just... I couldn’t help it.”

Her lips parted slightly, though no sound came out and she just kept looking at him.

Brandon sighed softly and ran his thumb across the back of her hand ”I didn’t want to hide it from you anymore. I care about you, Eira, deeply. That will never change. But I also love Florence.”

A small silence followed and Eira’s gaze drifted down to their joined hands before she spoke.

”So... you’re saying you love my mom.”

He nodded, unable to meet her eyes for a moment ”Yes. I do.”

Eira breathed out and then laughed softly ”You’re unbelievable, you know that?”

”Huh?”

”You really went and fell for my mom too.” She shook her head, covering her face with one hand.

”This is so... you.”

Brandon’s shoulders eased slightly at her tone, ”Eira, I know how it sounds, but I mean it when I say I’ll handle it properly. I’ll make sure this doesn’t hurt you or her. I don’t want any of you to feel neglected.”

Finally, she lowered her hand and looked at him again ”You confessed to her, and both of you are already in a relationship?”

He nodded hesitantly ”Eira...”

”Don’t,” she said gently, placing a finger on his lips.

”Don’t start apologizing again. You always do that. Just...”

She sighed and leaned against his shoulder ”Promise me one thing... you’ll be honest from now on. No more secrets, no more hiding.”

Brandon’s chest loosened a little as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders. ”I promise.”

Looking up at him, she kissed his jaw and spoke ”I am glad you found the courage to tell it to me yourself.”

He smiled upon hearing this.

Her gaze quivered as she looked at him, and after a brief silence, she spoke again ”Since you were honest with me... I think I should also say everything.”

Brandon blinked, slightly thrown off by her sudden shift in tone ”Hm?”

Eira smiled nervously ”Actually... I already know that you both are lovers.”

That made him freeze and his eyes widened slightly ”What?”

She nodded slowly, ”Well... I know my mother loves you. I’ve known it for a long time, actually.”

”Huh?” Brandon blinked again, completely caught off guard. ”...Eira?”

Eira sighed softly with a rueful smile playing on her lips. ”You see, Mom came to me once... a while back. She looked nervous, like a girl about to confess for the first time.”

Her smile grew faintly wistful ”She told me she had fallen for someone, and she asked if it was alright... if she could love you.”

Brandon blinked several times, ”She... asked you?”

Eira nodded, her gaze dropping for a moment ”She did. And at first, I didn’t know what to say. It felt strange. But when I thought about it more... when I saw the way she looked at you and how you treated her, I understood.”

Her voice softened, ”I knew she wasn’t just infatuated. She really cared about you.”

Eira reached up and cradled his cheek, ”So I told her it was okay,” she continued softly.

”That if she truly loved you, then she should follow her heart. Later, we talked more... and we both accepted it.”

Her thumb brushed along his cheekbone as she smiled faintly ”But I also told her one more thing; that I wanted to hear it from you. From your lips.”

Brandon’s eyes widened slightly as her words sank in.

”That’s why,” Eira said gently, ”I asked Mom to keep quiet.”

Her gaze softened further, and she leaned closer, ”I’m sorry for keeping that from you. Please... forgive me.”

For a long moment, Brandon just stared at her, processing everything she’d said.

Eira bit her lip lightly, watching him, unsure how to read the stillness on his face.

Then he let out a deep breath... a long, quiet sigh of relief that seemed to lift a weight from his chest.

”...I see.”

He reached up and placed his hand over hers, still resting on his cheek, and gave it a gentle squeeze. ”You... idiot.”

Leaning closer, she asked nervously ”Are you mad at me?”

Brandon’s gaze flicked toward her, and she saw that familiar, steady look that always seemed to calm her.

After a moment, he shook his head with a soft breath. ”No,” he said simply. ”Why should I be?”

She giggled and pinched his cheek ”Honestly, you are too good to me.”

With a shake of his head, he replied ”That should be my line.”

Eira smiled at that, her heart feeling lighter than it had all evening.

Just as he was about to say something else, a thought struck him ”Oh- wait.”

”Hm?” Eira tilted her head in confusion as Brandon suddenly got up from the bed, running a hand through his hair like someone who had just remembered something important.

He crossed the room in quick strides, and reaching the door, he quickly pulled it open.

Florence stood just outside, leaning against the wall with her arms folded loosely.

When the door opened, she turned her head slightly and a smile appeared on her lips ”Kael.”

Brandon smiled back at her, rubbing the back of his neck. ”Florence, Come inside.”

She nodded once and stepped past him into the room.

Brandon, closing the door behind Florence, looked between the two of them for a moment, ”I brought Florence with me... so we can talk together.”

He exhaled quietly and walked back toward them, sitting down beside Eira again while Florence sat beside him.

Eira shrugged her arms and muttered ”What’s there to talk about anymore... I also accepted it long ago.”

She let out a small, weary sigh and leaned against Brandon’s arm, resting her head on his shoulder ”Haa, now I am happy.”

After a pause, Florence also leaned in closer, resting her head lightly on Brandon’s other shoulder.

Then, with a tender smile, she lifted her head slightly and pressed a soft kiss against his cheek.

Brandon smiled and gently pecked her lips.

Eira watched it with half-lidded eyes and smiled faintly ”You two look really comfortable like that...”

Florence chuckled and brushed a few strands of hair from Eira’s forehead ”Well, we’ve all been through quite a bit. It’s nice to have a little peace now, isn’t it?”

Eira nodded wordlessly, leaning more into Brandon’s arm.

He wrapped his other arm gently around Florence’s waist, pulling them both a little closer.

Florence closed her eyes briefly, whispering more to herself than to either of them, ”It feels strange... to finally have a quiet moment like this.”

Eira hummed softly in agreement. ”It’s nice though, also... let’s just sleep here together.”

For a moment, the three of them just sat there in silence.

Brandon exhaled, his eyes moving between them.

”Now.. let’s sleep.” Muttering under her breath, Eira placed her hand on his chest and lightly nudged him back.

He blinked in surprise as his back met the bed and Eira smiled down at him ”Just rest now.”

Before he could respond, she climbed onto him, straddling his hips for a moment before sliding to his left side, her body curling against him.

Florence, with a quiet laugh, followed suit, settling on his right.

Eira glanced at her mother as she reached for the hem of his tshirt ”Mom, let’s remove this...”

Hm? Seeing this, Florence also reached for his t-shirt with a giggle ”Ok, ok.”

”Hey-”

Eira’s fingers tugged first, pulling the fabric up and over his head with Florence’s help, tossing it to the floor.

Brandon’s bare chest was exposed to the cool air, and Eira leaned in first to kiss his cheek before trailing lower, pressing a warm kiss to the hollow of his throat.

Florence kissed the other side of his neck with her hand across his chest, tracing the lines of his muscles.

Brandon’s hands found their waists, pulling them closer until their bodies were pressed flush against his sides.

”You two...” he murmured, and a low chuckle escaped as Eira nipped playfully at his neck.

Florence’s hand slid up to cup his cheek, turning his face toward her before kissing him.

Eira stared at them for a moment, and as they pulled back, she spoke ”Hm... still it feels quite strange to see my mother kiss you.”

Florence smiled seductively and replied ”Then take a closer look and familiarize yourself, dear, because you will see this more often from now on.”

With that, she dived down and kissed him deeply.

”You darn bitch-”
