The Martial Unity

”Your. Words. Please. Me,” she deigned to reply to him in a calm manner. ”I. Have. Carved. The. Laws. Of. My. Body. Over. Eons. To. Become. One. Of. The. Strongest. Among. My. Kind... My. Body. Is. Invincible... You. Cannot. Harm. It.”

Her boasts were not empty, unfortunately. He had even used Convergence of Casimir and some of his other stronger techniques, but they hadn’t made so much as a dent on her body. She could preserve the stamina of her Webverse extremely well because she had delegated all defense to the altered laws of her Legislated body, which were also infested with powerful adhesive Transcendent-grade esoteric matter.

This Divine Mother... Rui suspected that she could probably survive the event horizon of a black hole even without her Webverse, given how significantly divergent the laws in her body were. It also made her offense extremely ferocious because her resources were freed from any defensive burden.

She was on a whole other level compared to the Divine Mothers he had fought up until now. She would have effortlessly dusted the three Divine Mothers that had given him a hard time previously. In fact, if not for the hyperdimensional maneuvering that Rui had recently gained high proficiency with, he would not consider himself to be her equal without using his trump cards.

”Give. Up... Emperor. Of. Water.”

Her words contained a calm that cut against the chaos of the battle around them. The battle had grown so intense that it had completely disrupted Gaia and the entire solar system. The dense stream of spaceships going to and from the Gaian Space Station had been completely disrupted.

They floated about half a million kilometers away from Gaia. Rui had guided them away from the planet as much as he could because he knew they were his target, but it was impossible to prevent the impact from the battle spilling over to the rest of the solar system, even if he had done a good job insulating it.

The entire solar system- no, the entirety of human civilization- was already in an uproar about the ensuing battle, even though only ten minutes had passed since its commencement, but Rui had purposely shut off his mind to everything that was ongoing in civilization.

He couldn’t afford to be distracted, no matter how distracting the issues were.

His ethereal eyes remained focused on the Divine Mother hovering in outer space. Her hair floated about weightlessly in the vacuum of space, but her body tread on space and time in an adhesive manner, preventing her from simply wandering off.

”Give. Up,” she repeated calmly. ”You. Should. Know. How. Lost. This. Battle. Is... the. Moment. You. Foolishly. Taught. Other. Administrators. The. Method. Was. The. Moment. That. Keeping. It. Under. Wraps. Was. Impossible... you. Are. Strong. Enough. To. Protect. This. Priceless. Treasure. But. They. Are. Not.”

Rui’s expression tightened. Even though he didn’t dare to take his eyes off the Divine Mother, his senses already told him how bad the situation with the other battles was. Splitting off was not ideal, but the Divine Mothers could coordinate better than they could.

Right now, four high-tier Administrators were ganging up on a weaker Administrator and a Transcendent weapon.

Already, he could see Argenton getting rapidly overwhelmed. The only reason the battle lasted as long as it did was that God’s Hammer was fighting in a self-sacrificial manner, bringing out greater power in battle even if it came at the cost of its body.

But how much time could that possibly buy?

Minutes?

It was only a matter of time before God’s Hammer was destroyed and Argenton was captured by the four Divine Mothers. The Mindstitch would definitely ruffle through his continuous light consciousness, and Argenton wouldn’t be able to defend his memories the way Rui did. At most, the phenomenological singularity of his consciousness would be horrible to try and sift through, which could perhaps delay them temporarily. But that was not enough.

Something needed to be done.

RUMBLE

Rui tried using hyperdimensional maneuvering to quickly rush to Argenton’s rescue.

”Forget. It... You. are. Going. Nowhere.”

WHOOSH

The Calabi-Yau manifold was restored in the blink of an eye as her Webverse asserted itself upon reality. Restoring the binding web of the manifold was something that was thematically compatible with her phenomenology, allowing the Divine Mother to seal off the higher dimensions.

RUMBLE

Her domineering Webverse bore itself upon the battlefield between them, forcefully binding the manifolds shut, closing the otherwise permanent throughput he had into the higher dimensions.

So what if he altered the laws of his body?

Administration could violate the laws of reality—regardless of whether they were altered or not.

If Rui wanted to preserve the laws that he had Legislated, he would have to Govern reality to be that way.

A single remark escaped him as Martialverse flared with power.

”Bring it on.”

RUMBLE!!!!!

The Water of his Martialverse imposed itself on reality, pushing back against her Webverse. Everything was Water, including the quantum flux that flowed between higher dimensions. He simply allowed them to flow freely as Water did.

RUMBLE!!!!!!

The very essence of reality shook as a powerful tug of war unfolded in the battlefield between them. The mighty Webverse of Divine Mother oooo—— not only violated the altered laws of his information form, but also resisted the ferocious offensive from her opponent’s Martialverse. One side sought to keep the higher dimensions bound. The other side sought to be able to flow between the dimensions like Water.

Rui mobilized everything he had without any compunctions. His mind, soul, and his very consciousness were pushed to the very limit. He even activated Megamind at the cost of weakening his body, elevating his consciousness to even greater depths.

And yet, the Divine Mother held strong.

Her six arachnid eyes bored into those of Rui with deep intensity as her pincers clicked.

”My. Verse. Is. Far. Stronger. Than. Yours.”

She spoke the truth. Even though she was facing an uphill battle not only because she had to violate his altered laws in his body, which consumed a lot of her metaphysical stamina very quickly, but also because she was against his extraordinarily powerful Martialverse.

And yet, the ethereal depths of Rui’s eyes only glowed with a profoundly intense will.

”I will win even if it kills me.”

He charged at her with every ounce of power he could muster. Their bodies clashed, shaking the very fabric of space and time.

RUMBLE!!!!!
