The Martial Unity

”Fuuu…” Dwight heaved a deep breath as he applied the full potential of the Nervous Realm, the Thought Realm, and the Identity Realm.

Dwight’s elderly eyes remained fixed on the catalyst as his Thought Realm surged. His mind surged with immense processing as he used his knowledge of material sciences, mechanics, esoteric sciences, quantum electrodynamics, and structural engineering to devise the technicals of the upgrades.

The Thought Realm contained all of the conscious knowledge that dwarves learned and researched in their lives from the day they took up the hammer. Without the Thought Realm, they would not be able to develop extraordinary inventions, and would be limited merely to crafting regular items, like simple analog swords.

When Dwight had crafted the swords for Rui shortly after breaking through, he had chosen to create an analog sword so that he could focus only on the Transcendent Realm, but the catalyzer machine was very different. He would need to deploy his extraordinarily vast integrated knowledge to upgrade this machine properly.

Then, he used his Identity Realm to bring about harmony at the design level. The Identity Realm was a Realm that allowed a user to be in harmony with his own creation by leveraging the Harmony of Identity within one, which was what the dwarves called the Enlightenment of Self.

Scientifically speaking, it allowed a dwarven craftsman to maximize neurocognitive activity and processing by increasing its responsiveness to the design. This was done by ensuring that the design was attuned to the subconscious and psychological affinities of the user, the essence of their identity.

Dwight was unfortunate that he couldn’t apply his Identity Realm fully because he was only applying tangential upgrades to the machine, not developing it from scratch; this limited how much of his full neurocognitive potential he could leverage.

Regardless, a new blueprint emerged in his mind. One that was slightly different from the original on paper, yet extraordinarily different in effect. With the blueprint developed, there was only one thing that was left to do.

”B̸̼̈̇̊͑̓͗̒͒̈̽͗͐͘ȩ̷̃̋̈͜͝h̴̢̢͉͇̲͈̥̱́͗͋̇͊̑̍͌̽͜ǫ̵̜͎̟̜̬̹̗͍̲̘̂̈́̅̿̿̐̄̒͛͒̍̈́͘̚͝ͅļ̶̙̗̙͚̮̣̫̠̝̮̝͇͓̒́̄̑̐͑̿̃͆͛̅͘͝d̷̹̥̎͐̓̈́̈́͒̚̕.”

He activated the Creationverse.

Immediately, the fabric of reality changed as his consciousness expanded into the information dimension unfettered, thanks to the uniformity of his phenomenology. The full power of Harmony unfolded upon the world around him as he exerted his Creationverse upon the world.

The dominion of Harmony consumed reality with such absoluteness that each and every single dwarf in the storage wing felt like they were pressed by the heel of a god. They gasped as their eyes widened, their expression astonished by the ineffable power that Dwight displayed.

HMMMMMM…!

Heaven and earth sang as discordant heat was thoroughly converted into harmonious sounds.

”This…” Elder Forsynth whispered. ”This is the power of a god.”

Each of them didn’t so much as even blink, refusing to miss even a single moment of what was unfolding.

Dwight’s elderly eyes remained fixed on the photonic phase induction catalyzer. He raised his arms before the machine, causing it to levitate.

WHOOSH

There was no force holding up the machine. No tractor beam, no maglev mechanism, no electromagnetic pressure or propulsion system. It was held up because he edited the information of the forces acting on it, including gravity, creating a bit of an isolated environment around it.

Then, he opened his palms.

In the blink of an eye, the gesture caused the components of the machine to unravel and come apart. The atomic bonding that functioned as the screws, nuts, and bolts of machines in the modern era came undone with the power of his Creationverse, causing every component to float away from the rest of the body. The barrel came undone into five separate structures, while the internal energy transmission systems also unraveled into thousands of components.

The excitation chambers containing the Transcendent exotic known as Light Dew, or Electromagnetic phasons, were unfastened, while the gravitational heat sinks also flew apart. The computation board and the processor units also gently split apart, floating gently amid nearly a hundred thousand components that each floated in the air over hundreds of meters.

The dwarves’ jaws slackened, falling wide open as they stared with eyes that were wide. They were frozen where they stood, unable to so much as even make a sound at what they saw.

Then, the true power of a Transcendent Craftsman came to be.

He first applied the Creationverse to the barrel, replacing the invintium alloy with pure invintium that he created out of nothing. Qubits were rapidly reshuffled as he imposed his blueprint upon the information dimension. He reshuffled the protons, neutrons, and electrons of the alloy to rapidly become pure invintium.

Of course, he could create new invintium out of nothingness if he wanted to, but there was no need to violate the law of conservation of energy if he could reuse matter rather than create it from scratch. He would rather preserve the stamina of his Creationverse. He altered the lattice structure of invintium to ensure that it remained in harmony with the rest of the design.

Invintium alloy was more malleable, allowing it to slightly expand when the machine grew heated, ameliorating internal pressure. If he blindly replaced invintium alloy with invintium, it would cause the machine to overheat. Thus, he created a lattice structure that made it more able to expand.

He also intrinsically upgraded the gravitational heat sink to ensure that there would be no overheating problem. Every change and creation he made needed to be followed up with a thousand other mild shifts to ensure that design-level harmony was preserved.

He grew more and more comfortable with his power, as his arms, hands, and fingers moved as if he was still using a quantum fabricator. In a way, he was. It was his skill with material fabrication that allowed him to use his Creationverse as effectively.

He could instinctively feel that if his hands were tied behind his back, he would not be able to use his Creationverse anywhere nearly as effectively.

Thus, the Nervous Realm had become even more important to him as a Transcendent. The Creationverse merely replaced the quantum fabricator. His many, many years as a craftsman, the mastery of skill that he had achieved, were the true sources of his power.

The dwarves watched as the suspended components of the catalyzer rapidly underwent changes that were closer to magic than they were science. The process went on for three whole hours as Dwight made millions of minor changes, while also bringing about informational harmony.

When he was finally done, he heaved a sigh, closing his hands.

WHOOSH

The renewed photonic phase induction machine came back together, vastly superior to what it had been before.

It was not just a superior machine.

It was awake.

VMMMMM

Its hum broke the silence of the stunned audience as the display of Transcendence finally came to an end.
