Chapter 1279: Get The Sword!

Both Blake and Innu still had the shackles around their arms and legs. They didnʼt have time to worry about them due to the threat in front of them, but thankfully it seemed that the vines were truly what had been draining their energy from before.

Now each of them had an axe in hand, ready to fight whichever way they could. Naturally from their training, Innu had moved slightly to the side, and then Blake did as well and finally there was Ozacas.

The three of them had formed a triangle formation around Ylva, ready to strike, and waiting to see who was the first one to attack.

”Even with three of you, you would need a whole army to take me down!” Ylva shouted.

Out of all of them, the first to act was Innu as he threw his axe out from his hand and aimed right for Ylvaʼs head. She avoided it by turning her head to the side, and right as she moved, a sword struck at the same time in the position she had moved to.

It was as if Ozacas knew she was going to dodge that particular way and acting immediately. Turning her body around though, she spun it knocking Ozacasʼs sword almost parrying it.

Then when she continued to spin her body she could see that the young Blake had also come to attack her with an axe from below. She flicked off one of her fingernails such force had bounced off the weapon and even with Blake using Qi it forced his hand back.

Ylva landed on her feet perfectly fine after a well-coordinated attack from the three. It was frustrating but they continued. This time Ozacas was the first to attack, he swung several times, and Innu controlled the axe drawing it towards him.

He was using his abilities to try and strike her while she was busy and from behind. When suddenly she had flipped in the air, jumping over the axe itself. Innu caught it back in his hand and before he knew it he could see Ylva with her hand swiping right at him.

He lifted his axe and was hit, being sent back, and crashing into the table filled with the other vials. Thankfully he had the weapon and Qi in his body that allowed him to withstand somewhat of the strong attack.

As Innu was recovering though, he continued to watch as Blake and Ozacas both were attacking from both sides. Ylva was avoiding them all and then quickly tried to attack. While one person was blocking the attacks it was the perfect opportunity for another to attack her.

As if she had eyes in the back of her head though, she would spin around and attack the other person at the right time.

ʼIn her full werewolf form, sheʼs faster than us, and stronger than us.ʼ Innu thought. ʼEven though weʼre using Qi, our energy is going to drain a lot quicker than her. If we canʼt get her by surprise attack, then what else are we meant to do?ʼ

ʼThe more I watch it almost feels like she can predict or see what weʼre going to do.ʼ

Thinking this Innu had decided to do something slightly different. As Innu continued to watch he had aimed perfectly, he built up the Qi in his weapon, powered it as he placed his other hand on his wrist. Then when he was ready he leapt up in the air.

He powered his Qi to try and drive him down even more, and swung it right at the ground the floor bored underneath. The floors had cracked completely and the entire area was shaking.

For a moment it felt like the entire cabin was going to collapse. Innu ran forward in all of the mess and grabbed Blake on the way.

”Come on, if we even stand a chance against her, you need your sword and I need my two axes!” Innu shouted.

The sound of growling was heard, and Ylva had leapt through all of the mess at the two. Quickly interjecting between them Ozacas placed part of his broken sword right in her mouth, trying to stop it.

”GO!” Ozacas shouted. The sword was almost crunched, so the only thing he could do, was place his entire forearm right into the mouth of Ylva, and using all of the strength of his legs he had pushed forward.

With his free hand, he pulled out every device he had on him around his waist, and he stabbed it right into Ylva. It started to electrify not only her, but him as well but Ozacas was bearing through it all.

Blake tried to ignore what was going on behind him. If he wanted to be of help he needed the black sword.

ʼIf I get the black sword Iʼll be able to do something. That sword stops them from healing, it can do real damage to them, and I can see the lines… I can see them while I use the sword still… if I get the sword it will be fine!ʼ

Placed on a table among other various items, Blake dug his hand onto it, and immediately drawn to it like a magnet he managed to pull it out straight away.

ʼHe managed to find it through all of that mess… that doesnʼt matter right now?ʼ

For a moment though as soon as Blake grabbed the sword, he felt something in his head, he placed his hand on it, as the pain stung.

”WHAT ARE YOU DOING BLAKE!” Innu shouted at the top of his lungs.

Until the two of them heard a grunt. Blake turned his head to the side, and they could see, Ylvaʼs hand had pierced right through Ozacasʼs stomach, blood dripping from her nails and blood dripping out of Ozacasʼs mouth.

”R-r-r-run.” Ozacas let out, as Ylva swung her arm and his body slid off crashing to the side.
