My Werewolf System

Chapter 1278: The Power Of A Luna (Part 2)

Gary was able to unlock a few special Werewolf forms but that was due to what he had consumed. The Ash Lycan form, and the special Dragon form that only had a limited amount of uses were from the unique Altered he had eaten.

Beyond that, he didnʼt know apart from full transformation if there really was anything else, and now Gary was starting to learn the real benefit of the Luna. His prediction in how a new form could be unlocked as long as she was alive.

”A Luna is starting to seem more important the more I learn about it.” Gary said.

”Right, a Luna strengthens the pack and the Alpha in many ways. Without her, it also means the power is severely weakened. The issue is, thereʼs no use to just eliminating the Luna either.” Midwak claimed. ”Although there can only be one Luna in a pack. As soon as one vanishes Lupus will be able to make someone else his Luna.

”But I believe, because of this ability to control this rage-filled form, itʼs the reason why deciding who the Luna in your pack would be is so important.”

Gary could see it already. If this form truly made it so a person couldnʼt tell friend from foe. A wrong move could get rid of the entire pack fairly quickly. Midwak had actually thought that this might have been somewhat the part of Ylvaʼs plan.

However it was too dangerous. The Luna to activate such a form, would eliminate everyone and everything that had been built up. Taking over something at the cost of getting rid of it all, that wasnʼt what she wanted.

”You said thereʼs more right?” Gary asked. ”Other than just the pack abilities, what about the Luna herself?” Gary asked.

”Right, I didnʼt get a chance to see Ylva fight that much, so thereʼs not a lot I can say.” Midwak answered. ”The only thing I really know about it, is they call it, the Luna Blessing….”

The answer was vague, and not really what Gary was hoping for. He was unable to see her full capabilities or her strength when she had entered the ring with Harvor that time.

Still, he had a feeling, someone who held so much power in the pack, they wouldnʼt be easy to handle.

ʼFrom what Iʼve learnt today as well, if we do meet up with her, itʼs going to be better if I get rid of her.ʼ

Back in the special cabin-like structure, Ylva had just entered and the two young men had witnessed Ozacas being kicked across the room. The person who had come to free them wasnʼt exactly having the best luck in their opponent.

Out of the dust, several bolts came shooting out. Quickly Ylva had avoided all of them as she moved her head to the left and right. They had missed but a sound after had heard them lodge into place.

The blue sparks started to appear in the background, and then a fourth bolt landed but it didnʼt head for where Ylva was, instead it had hit the floor.

The sparks connected like a square around Ylva and then blue currents started to enter the center as the whole of Ylvaʼs body was starting to be electrified. Her whole body was starting to shake.

”Ahhh this is cute….but itʼs annoying very annoying!” Ylva said as her body was starting to change. The fur coming off from her body, her arms and legs it almost looked to be white.

Her eyes were glowing white, radiating with power. Her form was growing in size, and seeing this all of the group knew that she soon would be able to move.

”Donʼt strike!” Innu shouted. ”Just get the door open, the door!”

While in the middle of her transformation, and electrified like this, Ozacas was confident that he could deal a fatal blow. It was their chance at a big attack, right after the big attack he could then move back and head to door.

He was hesitant until he heard another voice.

”Go for the door dad!” Blake shouted, agreeing with Innuʼs thoughts.

He wanted to believe in his dadʼs strength, his tenacity, and that he could somehow do something to beat Ylva, but he didnʼt want to lose his father, and he had seen firsthand just how powerful the Werewolves could be.

Ozacas bolted for the door to the side, and with the strength in his sword he swung it breaking it in half and the lock, and then with the rest of his body he barged in and crashed through it.

As the door broke, Ylva had fully transformed and she was able to walk through the electrical currents just fine.

”So youʼve gone running into the storage room, I doubt that there are any items in there that can help you.” Ylva said, as she stalks and looked at her prey.

”Move!” Innu shouted.

Right after, Ozacas moved to the side unsure of what was happening, but then he could see it. Two axes had come flying through the air. As they flew it had crashed into the chain that was attached to Blakeʼs hand.

With one hand free he then held onto Innuʼs axe, and used his Qi, he drew all of his power into the weapon and swung it at the other chains that Innu had, quickly with the axes in hand, the two of them were able to break free.

”Do you mind if I borrow one of your axes for now?” Blake asked holding onto the red axe while Innu held onto the black and white axe.

”Yeah, your sword is still in there, letʼs get your sword, and kill this bitch!” Innu shouted.
