Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Ansel walked in with a cheerful smile, holding a card in his hand. He handed it to her.

”Mommy, keep this card.”

Jian Yufei raised an eyebrow, ”Where did this come from?”

”I had grandma open an account under her name, there’s a hundred thousand in it. Use it for the household expenses.”

Jian Yufei was surprised, ”Where did you get the money?”

Ansel smiled, ”I helped some companies design websites online. I accumulated this over the past few days.”

”Website designing?” Jian Yufei was astonished.

”Yes, they’re just small websites, really easy to make. I did this a lot when I was in London.”

Jian Yufei once read a news story about a little boy who used his skills to learn computer science and design websites for others, earning his first pot of gold.

She had thought that boy was a genius at the time.

But she never thought Ansel had this talent as well.

”Mommy, I’m serious,” Ansel thought she didn’t believe him.

Jian Yufei pulled him closer, ”Mommy believes you, but don’t do this again.”

Ansel furrowed his little brows, ”Why? I can earn money this way and it’s also good practice.”

”Then tell mommy, how long did it take you to make one website?”

”Two days.”

”Exactly, it’s too time-consuming. Mommy doesn’t mind you doing this, but it shouldn’t be for the sake of making money. You can learn up to a certain level, practice when you need to, or do it for fun when you’re free. You’re still young; you should focus on studying.”

”Mommy, I understand, but...”

”Are you worried that there’s no money at home?”

Ansel nodded. Since birth, he had been a little master.

To be honest, tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands, seemed like a small sum to him.

To him, the Ruan Family now seemed as impoverished as beggars.

His goal was to restore the Ruan Family’s former prosperity, so he had to start working hard now, so by the time he came of age, the Ruan Family could stand tall again.

Jian Yufei naturally understood what he meant.

She smiled and asked, ”Ansel, do you not like living a hard life?”

”Mommy, that’s not what I mean. Although I don’t like it, I’m not afraid of it.”

”That’s good. Let’s get through a few hard years with mommy first. People learn the most during tough times.”

Ansel pouted unhappily, ”Mommy, if you have the ability to live a good life, why endure a hard one?”

”Are your abilities really enough?” Jian Yufei’s smile faded from her lips.

”I...”

”Focusing on immediate benefits will only make you lose more in the long run. There’s a saying, ’Sharpening your axe won’t delay your job of chopping wood.’ It’s not yet time to showcase your skills, so just study well and be a child.”

”Mommy...”

Jian Yufei didn’t want to reason with him further; he definitely understood, just didn’t want to submit.

”Alright, before you get your ID card, just study hard and listen. If you don’t behave, mommy won’t like you anymore.”

Ansel pursed his lips, feeling a bit aggrieved.

Jian Yufei smiled and kissed his forehead, ”Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. Mommy wants a happy child, not a little old man, understand?”

”I’m not a little old man!” Ansel quickly retorted.
