Germany’s TV Channel 1, Sport1.

Commentator Mehmet Scholl and guest Oliver Kahn were in high spirits.

Because today, they were about to commentate on a crucial match of the 8th round of the Bundesliga!

The recently surging Bayer Leverkusen, and the Bundesliga overlord, the great devil Bayern Munich, who had won 7 consecutive matches since the start of the season!

Both commentators on the stand were Bayern Munich legends, and they naturally favored Bayern Munich more.

”Today can be called the most important battle of the 8th round, with Bayern Munich hosting Bayer Leverkusen at Allianz Arena.”

”I believe the audience in front of their televisions can’t wait, Oliver, what do you think?”

Oliver Kahn laughed roughly:

”Looking at the recent form of both sides, both teams can play beautiful football, and individual players are performing exceptionally well.”

”Purely in terms of squad strength, Bayern Munich will undoubtedly have a huge advantage.”

”Whether it’s the coach’s experience or the market value of both squads, there’s an insurmountable gap.”

Kahn truly couldn’t imagine how Bayern Munich could lose.

Although he liked the Bayer Leverkusen team very much, and he liked the spirited young man Lance in it, the reason why giants dominate matches, and why Bayern Munich reigns supreme in the Bundesliga, is that the squad advantage is too obvious, sometimes even surpassing factors like morale and fighting spirit.

Cheap players are not necessarily good, but expensive players, their only drawback is being expensive.

With half an hour left until the match, in today’s special pre-match program, the two had already discussed many tactical details of this game.

”Alright, we’ll chat this much for now, let’s see what the frontline reporter has to say.”

Important matches naturally have on-site interviews to create a battle atmosphere.

Sport1 TV was no exception.

The hot blonde anchor Cathy Fischer stood in front of the camera, and behind her was a giant ”inflatable boat.”

Currently, Cathy Fischer was in a passionate relationship with Borussia Dortmund star Mats Hummels, and she was radiant.

”As you can see, I have arrived at Munich’s Allianz Arena, now let’s see how both sets of fans view this big match?”

Bayern Munich fans were undoubtedly happier.

They had just won the Quintuple, possessing an unmatched dominance.

Wearing Bayern Munich jerseys and Bayern Munich scarves, they walked in groups, singing loudly towards the stadium, only to be stopped by the beautiful reporter.

”Excuse me, from the perspective of a Bayern Munich fan, how do you view today’s match?”

Several beaming Bayern Munich fans stood tall, without hesitation.

”3-0!!!”

One hand held up 3 fingers, the other clenched into a fist, the young white fan’s eyes were firm.

”You’re too conservative, against Bayer Leverkusen, at least 5-0!”

”I feel we’ll win by at least 2 goals, our attacking power is very strong, with many attacking points in the front, conversely, Bayer Leverkusen’s frontline strength is weaker. A rational prediction should be 3-1...”

”Bayer Leverkusen is quite strong, we can’t underestimate them, I think a narrow 1-goal victory is enough.”

There was an older Bayern Munich fan with gray hair who was relatively cautious, and soon a drunken fan stumbled to the camera.

”3-0! 3-0!”

”It seems Bayern Munich fans are very optimistic about today’s match, let’s take a look at the situation of Bayer Leverkusen fans.”

The beautiful reporter took the cameraman around for a while and finally arrived at the away team’s fan entrance.

Usually, away trips are organized by fan associations, and compared to the chaotic home team entrance area, the away team area was much quieter.

Many factory fans wearing black jerseys were holding team flags and banners, preparing to enter, when they were stopped by the female anchor.

”Excuse me, could I trouble you for an interview? From the perspective of a Bayer Leverkusen fan, how do you view today’s match?”

The interviewed Bayer Leverkusen young man was relatively young, with a bitter expression:

”Bayern Munich is the treble winner, the overlord of the Bundesliga, we are mainly in the role of challengers today.”

”Then can you predict the score?”

”I think if the team performs well, it should be 1-1... Of course, as long as the team plays with its own style, with the same blood and passion as in recent matches, that’s enough.”

Fans were quite satisfied with Bayer Leverkusen’s recent performance.

Lance’s several crucial saves had at least earned the team five or six more points, even if they lost to Bayern Munich today, Bayer Leverkusen still had the capital to contend for a top four spot.

For Bayer Leverkusen fans, being able to contend for a top four spot was already a blessing, otherwise?

Compete with Bayern Munich for the championship?

Laughable, they wouldn’t even dare to imagine it.

After briefly interviewing a few Bayer Leverkusen fans, they were all more cautious than the relatively boisterous Bayern Munich fans, expressing some concern about the match.

”That’s the situation at Allianz Arena, Scholl, the screen is back to you.”

”Alright, thank you, Ms. Fischer.”

With some time remaining until the match, Scholl and Kahn continued their pre-match analysis based on the starting lineups of both sides.

...

Allianz Arena.

Lance had been in the Bayern Munich home team locker room before, but this was his first time in the locker room as an away player.

Compared to the luxurious home team locker room, the away team locker room was relatively simple in both decoration style and equipment.

”Bayern Munich’s treatment is too poor, isn’t it?”

Looking at the showerheads in the bathroom, Julian Brandt couldn’t help but complain.

He was then mocked by Andrés Guardado:

”You’re not even playing anyway, so you won’t need the showerhead.”

”You f***er, you’re not playing either!”

”I...”

It was Guardado’s turn to be deflated.

The Mexican’s recent training and match form had been poor, and Sascha had temporarily benched him.

Son Heung-min was pulled to the left wing to play as a winger, which just happened to benefit Lance, who was starting again today, and against Bayern Munich!

”Lance, are you nervous playing against Bayern Munich?”

Captain Simon Rolfes was quite concerned about the young man.

He had figured it out, if Lance was in good form, Bayer Leverkusen could usually produce many eye-catching attacks.

Lance’s most abnormal quality was his unscientific ball handling near the penalty area.

It could usually unexpectedly disrupt the opponent’s defensive tactics and create scoring opportunities.

If they followed a conventional attacking rhythm, breaking Bayern Munich’s defense would be very difficult.

But we have a variable, we have the surprise weapon Lance!

”Not nervous.”

”It’s normal for young people to be nervous, Bayern Munich is after all a... Huh? You’re not nervous at all?”

Seeing Lance’s hands shaking, Rolfes thought the young man was flustered.

”I’m just a little excited, I finally met a decent opponent today.”

”This...”

Rolfes was speechless.

Most people would rather crush weaker teams to boost their stats, but Lance wasn’t interested in crushing weaker teams?

He had to seek out strong teams to be happy, could he be a masochist?

”Very good, that’s the spirit.”

”Guys!!”

Sascha and Hyypi? appeared in the locker room.

The pre-match tactical deployment had actually been thoroughly explained and practiced for a week.

With only a few minutes left until kickoff, there was no need to emphasize too many details; it was more about pre-match motivation.

”I know none of you will touch betting, but I took a look, and guess what.”

”The odds for the home team to win are 1.78, and for the away team to win – 7.25!”

”Almost no one favors us, especially at Allianz Arena, they have the timing, the location, and the people, and you guys...”

”I see defiance in your eyes, right? Who says Bayern Munich is invincible?”

”Today, in their home stadium, in front of their fans, prove yourselves!”

”Prove that Bayer Leverkusen fears no one!”

”Hey Bayer, Ho!”

Every Bayer Leverkusen player cheered with raised arms!

Yes, Bayern Munich invincible? Don’t joke!

Today, let us break Bayern Munich’s invincible aura!
