Players' NPC Big Daddy

[Level 31 (7) — Level 32 (9)]

[Condition Met: Kill over twenty Monsters with the Wild Beast Attribute]

[Profession Acquired: Hunter Level 1]

”I finally leveled up!” Blaze pulled the Twisted Greatsword out of the giant bear’s bleeding body and pumped his fist in excitement.

Hunting 20 Wild Beasts was enough to unlock the Hunter Profession, but the prerequisite was leveling up. He had killed a full 50 Wild Beast enemies before he successfully leveled up.

With this, his Agility had finally reached triple digits.

”Alright, Chicken, come and eat.”

”YAHOO!”

Following an Eagle’s cry, Chicken dove down like a cannonball, coming to a dead stop right in front of Blaze. The resulting gust of wind flattened the surrounding vegetation.

”This [Supersonic Flight] is absolutely amazing!”

Ever since Chicken gained the ability to fly, she practically couldn’t stop for a single moment. As soon as they were outside, she impatiently shot into the sky, looking as if she wanted to pierce through the clouds.

Then, due to a lack of oxygen, she plummeted straight down, pulling off an extreme hover right in front of Blaze.

”But the probability of triggering high-speed flight isn’t very high, is it?” Blaze piled up the meat and waited for Chicken to devour it all, while he sat to the side, looking at his Blessing interface and falling deep into thought.

The Monsters in the Broken Steel Mountain Range ranged from Level 25 to Level 40, and most of them were herbivores like the [Steel Goat] or [Rock Turtle]. Under normal circumstances, they posed no threat, but things would get troublesome once they entered the mines. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

The Monsters mostly hid in the shadows. Although there were no large Demonic Puppet Monsters like Golems, there were inanimate Monsters like Rock Soldiers that did not possess a [Bleeding State]. His biggest trump card, [Lethal Execution], would be completely useless against them.

Over these three days, he needed to raise his level as much as possible and increase the levels of his [Fighting Master] and [Hunter] Professions.

CRACK!

Someone stepped on a branch, and a figure appeared not far away.

”Oh~ You really are near Balkan City.”

The Griffin hemline, the Alien tailbone Sword—it was the Foreigner, Flying Brick.

”Flying Brick? What’s going on with your arm?” Blaze’s gaze was drawn to Flying Brick’s left hand, which had turned into a slender, shriveled brown Monkey Hand.

”This is a Monkey Hand, a super strong item that allows the user to gain Superman’s arm strength.”

Looking smug, Flying Brick pulled a Stone Sword out of his inventory. The moment the Stone Sword landed, it smashed a huge crater into the ground. The entire forest even experienced violent shaking akin to an earthquake.

[Azure Heaven Ruins: Great Sword]

[A part of the legendary sky. Rather than a Sword, it is more like a hilt attached to a rock, only capable of delivering blunt strikes. This Sword is the Supreme Treasure enshrined by the descendants of the Heaven-Reaching Giants, the Sky Giant race, and is also the weapon of the Sky Giant High Priest.]

[Legend has it that the moment the full weight of this weapon presses against the ground will be the moment of extinction for all terrestrial creatures. The Sky Giant race swore to the heavens that they would spend their entire lives holding this Sword up, and even in death, they would keep their arms raised high to prevent this Sword from touching the ground.]

[Requires a Strength Value of over 20,000 to lift and use. When attacking, inflicts a shattering Effect, inflicts a crushing Effect, causes spatial Twist, and causes equipment Destruction.]

”This weapon cannot be used by Humans. Because Humans—or rather, no species capable of holding a weapon other than Giants—have a Strength Value exceeding 20,000. But this Monkey Hand is different. The arm strength of the Monkey Hand attached to me is determined by multiplying my Strength Value by 4 to 10 times.

”I got pretty lucky this time; the Monkey Hand I used gives 10 times the Power.”

”That’s so nice! That item is way too incredible!” Blaze was beyond envious. He only had a Monkey Hand in his inventory that would Curse him if used. If he had this kind of powerful item, he would definitely be able to obtain the [Strongman] Profession with ease.

”It’s not actually that great. Such exaggerated arm strength just looks good on paper. The amount of damage an attack deals is generally calculated using the data of your entire body, so having high strength in a single arm just gets diluted. Throwing Skills that calculate damage based solely on arm strength are also unusable because of the monkey’s muscle structure. However—”

Flying Brick effortlessly lifted the Stone Sword with his left hand. This simple action directly kicked up a fierce gale.

”This Stone Sword is different. It’s the only boss weapon of its kind in the entire game—*cough*—the entire world. As long as you can swing it, you can deal explosive damage relying purely on the weapon’s inherent weight.

”But when using it, you have to perfectly time when to relax your grip and release the weapon’s weight, otherwise it will cause the extinction of all terrestrial creatures, haha. So, most of the time, it can only be used for the memes.”

Blaze fidgeted restlessly as he stared at the Stone Sword in Flying Brick’s hand, cold sweat breaking out on his forehead.

”W-With such an important item stolen away, the Sky Giants must be very anxious, right?”

”Not at all. I actually think they were overjoyed, and they even gifted this thing to me.” Flying Brick stored the Stone Sword—a weapon that could casually drive surface creatures to extinction—back into his inventory. Blaze had just breathed a sigh of relief when he was startled by the next thing Flying Brick pulled out.

At first glance, it looked like a massive bamboo pole. Only upon closer inspection would one realize that it was a shriveled Giant’s arm.

[The Shriveled Right Arm of the Sky Giant High Priest]

[An arm that withered long ago due to being held up for an extended period of time. At first, it was painful, then numb, followed by despair, and finally, tranquil. What exactly supported this extinction star? Was it the Sky Giant’s long-dead arm, or was it pure Faith?]

”Thanks to me, that group of Sky Giants is no longer brooding and keeping their Sky Island completely closed off.”

”That is true...” The Sky Giants Blaze knew from the past were an extremely brutal, primitive tribe that would annihilate any Intruder. Now, he had heard they had completely opened up their territory and even started engaging in commerce and spreading their culture.

”Ah, right, almost forgot my main purpose.” Flying Brick slapped his forehead, took a stone out of his inventory, and tossed it to Blaze.

[Star Fragments]

[The light from late summer and early autumn guides the inner potential and soul of Humans.]

”This is!” Blaze looked at the stone in his hand in astonishment. It was an item that granted the Power of the Constellation upon use, except this one was several times larger than the one he had used—it was about the size of a fist.

”It dropped from a mature Nemean Lion King. I figured I should hand it over to you.”

”Thank you, Flying Brick.” Even though Blaze had no idea what this stone was used for, Chicken, who was playing the part of a wild animal by his side, kept frantically winking at him, urging him to accept it immediately.

”As repayment, here is this for you.” Blaze took out one of his Copper Coins and handed it to Flying Brick.

”What’s this?” Flying Brick narrowed his eyes, examining the Copper Coin. He knew the Black Beast Knight possessed an item that could be sold to NPCs for 500,000 Gold Coins, but he didn’t expect it to be given as an item of gratitude.

”This scent is a bit familiar. I feel like it resembles something from somewhere.”
