First Intergalactic Emperor: Starting With The Ancient Goddess

It had been five minutes since the goddess returned to her slumber.

Xavier sat in silence. He was given a goal to complete. A purpose of his life. He wasn’t gaining anything by not following it, but he was surely losing everything by it.

He was supposedly a God. He was forced to be one.

An existence that everyone should fear.

A strong and powerful being.

That’s who Xavier was supposed to be.

A God. But currently, he was just a baby god who still hadn’t learned to take his first steps.

KNOCK~ KNOCK~!

The door opened and Lilia peeked in. ”Can I come in?”

After receiving no response, she walked in and saw Xavier sitting in front of the goddess’ fragment with his eyes closed.

He was naked. But at that moment, he looked serene.

Lilia walked closer to Xavier and sat beside him with grace. Lyra also stood behind Xavier, seemingly confused and wondering what was happening.

Then, Lilia slowly moved her hand and placed it on Xavier’s shoulder, prompting him to open his eyes.

His eyes shined golden for a second before returning to red again.

”Are you okay? What happened?” she asked in a calm voice.

Xavier slowly opened his mouth. ”I...”

He told her everything that had happened with him ever since he came to the city.

”You were in the prison...?” She couldn’t believe her ears. ”I thought you were out with that fat friend of yours. I saw you the other night with him when I followed you after you suspiciously and sneakily tried to leave the room in the middle of the night.”

”What the—! You were pretending to be asleep?!”

”Don’t act innocent now.” She squinted her eyes. ”You pretend to be asleep every morning too.”

”That’s a different matter.”

”Oh? So stealing peeks at me changing my clothes is a different matter?” She nodded with a judging look on her face.

”Anyway.” Xavier tried to change the topic to get out of the situation. ”That’s the story. Don’t ask me any more questions because I don’t know. I am new to this and I need some time to take it all in.”

”I wouldn’t have believed a word, but... I can’t believe it...” Her eyes and voice were filled with joy. ”I can’t believe that I saw the goddess with my eyes!”

”Yeah...”

”But is there really any need to get naked?” She glanced at his crotch, although Xavier had covered it with his pants.

”I just told you the reason!”

”No, I mean... you could have just kept your clothes and pulled your dick out of the zip instead to jerk off.” She shrugged her shoulders.

”You... how could you say those words so nonchalantly? You shameless girl!” Xavier moved away from Lilia and made some distance between them. ”You have no shame! And not just that, you even touched my dick every morning when you wake up! Do you like it that much, huh?!”

”Shut up!” She hissed with a flushed face. ”Why are you bringing that up?! Do it when we are alone!”

Xavier and Lilia looked at Lyra, who seemed interested in their story, her ears flapping back and forth.

”Ahem!” Xavier cleared his throat and said, ”Can you two turn around so I can wear my pants? We will go to the restaurant on the 10th floor to eat afterwards.”

Lyra and Lilia turned their faces to the side, and Xavier immediately got up and a new pair.

As he was changing, Lilia couldn’t help but take a peek at him. She wanted to see his dick since it had been a while.

’He also peeks at me, so it’s only fair that I do it too!’ She gave herself an excuse.

However, when she took a peek, Xavier had already worn his pants, leaving her disappointed. But then, her gaze fell on Xavier’s back and her eyes widened.

”Hey!” She called out to him. ”When did you get a tattoo on the back?”

”Huh?” He pulled up his shirt from the floor and turned to Lilia with a confused look on his face. ”What? I haven’t gotten one. What are you talking about?”

”On your back!” Lilia got up and took a picture to show it to Xavier. ”See.”

It was a golden-brown colored spine tattoo starting from the back of his head to his hips.

”What is this...” he muttered in disbelief as he stared at the screen. ”I haven’t...”

Lilia then touched it and it felt like a hardened skin, as though she was touching rubber and metal at the same time.

”It feels like a... cyberware, but at the same time it isn’t.” She muttered. ”Do you truly have no idea about it? Should we go to the doctors?” She asked with a concerned look on her face.

”No...” Xavier shook his head. ”It might be something related to the... mess.”

Xavier then recalled what had happened when he killed Bull. Golden particles came out of Bull’s body and covered Xavier before vanishing into thin air.

’Is it some sort of god particle? According to the goddess, I will gain the power of the host once I kill them and absorb the fragment’s powers. Bull said the goddess gave him ’power’ so that means I will gain something similar according to what suits my body.’

Lyra, who was quiet for a while, raised her hand and said, ”Hungry.”

”Yes, yes. Let’s go.”

The three of them went to the 10th floor and sat at the corner table. While waiting for the food, Xavier texted Oliver and told him that he would pick him up in an hour.

”There are two girls now!” Seraphina panicked when she saw Xavier with two girls. She placed the dishes on their table and looked at Xavier.

’What is he doing? Bringing girls here like that. He never comes to talk to me even though I told him that he can come to me if he needs anything. He only comes to eat. What an innocent boy. Wait, could it be that he is into younger girls? Oh, my. What a naughty boy.’

While they were eating, Xavier noticed a few familiar figures entering the restaurant.

”Oy you hag!” One of them shouted. ”When are you paying the rent, huh?!”
