Hentai Dragon King

Oh. This is a general store, huh?

Sheepskin parchment, blankets, plant seeds, mysterious stones, wooden sticks, and even what looks like animal bones are all for sale. There’s even a little bottle that might contain a virgin’s menstrual blood.

”Hey, you there.”

...Hm?

While I was looking at the goods, the female merchant selling them called out to me.

I turned toward the voice. The merchant appeared to be a woman in her early twenties. She wore a brown hooded mantle. Since she was sitting, I couldn’t tell her height, and the layered clothing made her body shape ambiguous. With her hair hidden by the hood, I might not have realized she was a woman if I hadn’t heard her voice.

Ah. Maybe because I was leaning forward to peer at the merchandise, my dick had slipped out?

Gulp.

The female merchant made a swallowing sound and leaned forward with wide eyes.

Eh? No way—did seeing my dick excite her?

No, that wasn’t it.

She wasn’t staring at my dick, but at the 2-liter jar I was carrying. It was the jar from the church— was it rare enough to catch a merchant’s eye?

”That jar... it’s wine, right? Where did you buy it?”

A dialect? Even with the otherworld translation, her speech had a unique flavor that was a bit hard to understand. It sounded like someone who had never lived in Kansai trying to write Kansai-ben.

”It smells so incredibly good, the aroma is reaching all the way over here. Just imagining the taste is making my mouth water.”

The smell, huh. Since it was Rafilia-san’s homemade wine, the fragrance was indeed amazing. Because I was carrying the jar around, she must have assumed I bought it somewhere.

”I didn’t buy it. It’s homemade.”

”I see. Wonderful. I’ve drunk wines from all kinds of regions, but I’ve never smelled anything this fragrant. How much? I won’t quibble over the price. I’ll take it all.”

”Ah. Sorry, but it’s not for sale. It’s a gift for someone.”

”Eh? That’s a shame. You don’t have any more?”

”Well... I do, and I don’t.”

”I’ll be doing business here today and tomorrow too. If you manage to get any wine, please let me buy it.”

”In that case... sure.”

”By the way——. Uwaah!”

The merchant looked away from the jar, looked up at me, and suddenly recoiled in surprise.

”W-why are you dressed like that?”

Eh? She doesn’t know about Medjed Mode?

So behind the times~!

”Kukuku... To not know of me, you must not be from this city.”

”Of course I’m not. Setting out a mat and displaying goods at the Saturday market means I don’t have a store in this city, so obviously I came from somewhere else, right?”

”...Yeah, that’s true.”

Damn. I thought I was showing off some brilliant deduction, but it was just common sense.

Hm?

When I casually looked up, I saw a familiar person standing on top of a tower ahead. It was E.

Was that the roof of a four-story tower?

He was probably observing the city or the market. This was my chance to meet him. I didn’t want to meet that important-looking deputy or whatever, so I wanted E to come down.

It didn’t seem as strict as Japanese police or firefighters who get reported by citizens the moment they take a break, so maybe he could come out for a bit.

But how should I get his attention?

I could see him because he was the only one on the tower, but from up there, with dozens or even over a hundred people in the market, there was no way E would notice me.

...That’s it.

I’ll go up to the same height as E.

I quickly checked my surroundings.

Good.

There were plenty of people in the market, but right now there was no one within arm’s reach.

I bent my knees, gathered strength with a vague sense of how much power I’d need to reach about 15 meters up where E was, and jumped.

Boing!

In reality, it was a heavy thud that lightly shook the ground and kicked up dust, but in my mind it was a cute boing.

In an instant, I reached the same eye level as E.

”Hey!”

”Eh? ...Eeeehhh?!”

Good, he noticed me.

Well, if someone suddenly jumped up to your height, your eyes would naturally be drawn to them.

I waved my hand while beginning free fall.

”Uwaah!”

Suddenly everything went dark in front of me.

My robe had flipped up!

Because I was in Medjed Mode, the robe was essentially just sitting on my head. I hurriedly pressed down on my head with my left hand to keep the robe from flying away. My right hand was holding the wine jar so I couldn’t use it.

Thud.

I landed back in my original spot, carefully making sure not to spill any wine.

Fortunately, not a single drop had spilled.

I didn’t really understand the physics, but probably because me, the wine, and the jar all fell with the same gravitational acceleration, it didn’t spill.

The robe slowly fell back down, and I returned to Medjed Mode.

In front of me, the female merchant’s face had turned bright red.

”Um... Is that sexual appeal perhaps an invitation to me?”

She saw my dick after all...

Luckily, the only person in a position to see my dick was the merchant right in front of me.

Yeah, I really should buy some clothes.

”Sorry for showing you something weird.”

”N-no way! Weird? That’s not weird at all! I’ve never seen anything like it. It was amazing!”

”Really? Amazing? I think it’s pretty normal though?”

My dick wasn’t even erect; it was in normal mode... Was it really that amazing?

”No no, what are you saying? Something that impressive is practically on the level of a horse beastman.”

”No no, even so, comparing it to a horse beastman is too much. Praising my dick that much—aren’t you the one inviting me now?”

”Eh? Dick? I was saying your jumping power was amazing...”

”...”

Well, of course. As much as it hurts, there’s no way my dick could be on the level of a horse beastman...

How embarrassing. More embarrassing than having my dick seen was the fact that I misunderstood and thought she was praising me for having a horse-sized cock.

E was running over, so I should leave this place.

”At the crossroads of history and destiny, let us meet again...”

I muttered meaningfully and left the stall. I didn’t have time to add ”The day the black obsidian flower blooms is near...”

After taking a few steps, E arrived.

Whoa...

He used to look like a generic mob knight, but now he was wearing magnificent armor.

Up close, I could see the detailed decorations. The red robe given to him upon his promotion to centurion had what looked like the order’s crest on it.

”Sahar. You called me, right?”

”Yes. I wanted to thank you for lending me the robe.”

”Ah, if that’s the case, it ended up becoming yours after going around in circles. Sorry I couldn’t come tell you myself.”

”No, Ana-san already told me.”

”I see.”

”If I didn’t have this, I would’ve been walking around completely naked. Thank you very much.”

”No no, even during that fall just now you were basically fully naked, weren’t you?”

”Hahaha. Must’ve been your imagination.”

”I don’t think there was even a shred of room for it to be my imagination.”

”Here, I brought some wine as thanks.”

”Oh. Is that okay?”

E took the jar, brought his nose close to the opening, and his eyes widened after smelling it.

”This is quite a fine product. Is it really okay? Now I feel like I should be the one giving thanks.”

”No need for thanks.”

It’s a bit embarrassing to say out loud, but I’m seriously grateful to E.

This robe really saved me. Without it, I would’ve been living completely naked.

Last night, when I checked the quest progress, I really felt it. Even the tiniest action can completely change your future.

If I had stayed naked, I might have just stayed holed up in the church forever.

I might never have taken the status exam, never helped the kemololi girls, never had anal sex with Ana-san, never drunk Rafilia-san’s breast milk, and never drunk Fullru’s anal wine.

And above all...

There’s no doubt that this robe is what allowed me to create Medjed Mode.

Even now, without Medjed Mode, after flashing my dick like that I’d be too embarrassed to walk around the city. The reason I can stand here talking to E is because only my eyes are visible and my face is hidden.

”When you’re done with it, could you return the jar to the Larm Church?”

”Understood.”

Good.

I don’t want to know my future so I won’t check the quest progress, but with this, one sub-quest is complete.

After that, E gave me a quick tour of the market.

Since protecting the security of the city is part of E’s job, patrolling the market is apparently proper duty.

As thanks for the wine, he bought me one apple.
