Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 2294: Chapter 2295: Plan Implementation

After discussing some details with these strong allies, they left satisfied with the essence of the Spirit Pool!

Of course, once the conditions were settled, the following details proceeded much more smoothly.

Moreover, Ye Luo’s demands were not complicated.

It was merely to have each Sect send some strong members, with the condition that these people must unconditionally follow Ye Luo’s instructions!

Even though these Sects agreed, it was only for feasible commands; should Ye Luo order them to perform overly dangerous tasks, that would be impossible!

At night, Ye Luo and Zi Wei sat together in an embrace.

”Ye Luo, I feel the price you’re paying this time is too high. After all, this time, the Dragon Clan and other forces aren’t specifically targeting you. At Mt. Sumeru, there are powerful forces from Great Sects of the South Territory and some hidden forces. It’s not as simple as you think. If you lead a few Sects to assert themselves, many will laugh at you! Moreover, regardless of victory or defeat, you won’t gain any advantage!”

Indeed, what Zi Wei said made perfect sense. What Ye Luo was doing seemed foolish, fighting with no apparent benefits and costing him dearly.

But, is Ye Luo truly foolish? Certainly not!

He had long been hunted by the Dragon Clan and other forces; this was his time to counterattack!

He wanted these forces to understand that Ye Luo was no pushover, not something that anyone could easily manipulate. This was just the first step. In the future, when his base is established, he planned to make the Dragon Clan and other such races pay a heavy price!

”The cost is indeed significant, but it’s still worth it!” Ye Luo said calmly.

Zi Wei understood that Ye Luo didn’t want to delve deeper into this issue, so she refrained from asking further.

Moreover, she increasingly felt that although Ye Luo was young, his way of doing things was extremely shrewd, and sometimes she couldn’t discern Ye Luo’s true intentions.

The activities of other Sects were fairly reliable, as by early morning, experts began to arrive one after another.

Altogether there were hundreds of them. Of course, comparing these strong members with Elder-level individuals was pointless.

Only the Wind Cloud Sect sent a few experts who had just entered the Heavenly Martial Realm; the rest were mostly at the eighth or ninth level of the Earth Martial Realm.

Even more excessively, there were some cultivators at the seventh level of the Earth Martial Realm!

Cultivators of such realms weren’t even as good as the disciples of the Zi Wei Sect!

However, Ye Luo didn’t mind. He never expected these Sects to go all out and send Elders to support him; what he wanted was merely this effect!

After all, even if their strength was weak, they ultimately represented the entire Sect! This meant the Sect supported Ye Luo, which was enough!

What he needed was to create a momentum!

But what puzzled him was that he hadn’t received a reply from Feng Xiner; on the day of the discussion, only one Elder was sent, and their attitude seemed to be going with the flow!

But Ye Luo also understood that the Sect Master of a Sect represented the entire Sect and generally wouldn’t show up easily.

Now that everyone was present, Ye Luo was about to implement his plan!

In reality, many people were secretly observing the Zi Wei Sect.

In recent days, what was most discussed among the power of the Great Sects naturally revolved around Ye Luo.

However, the attitude of other forces was contemptuous! They more or less believed that Ye Luo was only doing this to survive, and also to gain fame!

After all, such behavior of aggressively standing out and gaining no benefits seemed like a symptom of madness, didn’t it?

But Ye Luo didn’t care about this at all!

Instead, he was directing these strong individuals to head towards Sumeru City!

These strong members were only doing the bare minimum; you could tell by their attitude, lazy and without semblance of any battle readiness, just walking on the ground.

Yes, like ordinary people, they walked step by step on the ground!

Originally, even though Mt. Sumeru was vast, flying down would only take the time of a burning incense stick to arrive at Sumeru City, but with their pace, it would at least take half a day!

However, the disciples of the Zi Wei Sect were very anxious, as their loyalty to Ye Luo had reached a certain level.

But what puzzled them was that Ye Luo, in contrast, didn’t seem in a hurry, serenely following behind these strong individuals, as if none of this concerned him!

In fact, it didn’t concern him too much!

He just needed them to create momentum; if they hurriedly flew down Mt. Sumeru, Ye Luo wouldn’t be pleased.

Although other forces disdained him, the fact that Ye Luo could unite these forces and have them send experts to utilize wasn’t something just anyone could achieve.

Besides, Ye Luo didn’t really expect these people to accomplish anything substantial.

Having them battle the Dragon Clan and those forces? At the first glance of confrontation, these guys would likely flee!

After all, they hadn’t signed any contract with Ye Luo; if they ran away, they ran away, what could be done?

Hence, what Ye Luo truly wanted to do had already been instructed to Zi Wei!

Zi Wei, along with a few trustworthy Elders, had long entered Sumeru City.

At this time, Sumeru City had completely changed!

The previous bustling and prosperous scene no longer existed! The Dragon Clan could still be reasoned with, but the Myriad Beasts Sect and the Returner Alliance were entirely extreme powers. No need to elaborate on the Myriad Beasts Sect, a force established by ancient ferocious beasts—what else could you expect? The Returner Alliance was a group of crazed cultivators, harboring destruction and madness in their character.

Thus, upon their rule over Sumeru City, they resorted to arson, murder, and looting to the utmost extent.

Not just locals from the South Territory, but even inland and overseas caravans were persecuted.

In the city, whether ordinary person or cultivator, all fell into slavery under these forces.

As Zi Wei walked along the street, she sighed deeply.

”I was once also considered a villain, but seeing this scene, I couldn’t bear it still!” she sighed again.

”What kind of person is the Sect Master, I naturally understand. Others consider you to have a wicked heart, but who knows what those Sects did to our Zi Wei Sect? If this old slave could turn into a vengeful spirit, I surely wouldn’t spare them!” the Grand Elder said angrily.

Zi Wei heard this and sighed once more, ”Forget it, what’s past is past. I’m tired, and now I have my support, I don’t want to dredge up old stories.”
